      He did mention he couldn't feel any difference with the fujilight wheels. They do look awesome though, I'm jealous.

    • @MickDrivesCars

      Nope. I've done trackdays on my normal wheels/tires then driven home on the same tires.

      Twingo 1 is perfect up to 100 km/h. You can drive it above that, but it slowly starts to run out of power. I would just prefer more direct steering wheel, like on other RS models and ABS as well 😁
      Now, regarding the tires. I drove my Clio 3 197 on track with street tires. It ran just fine. However, there was a lot of brake dust on the rims.

    Nice drive but no one died going 50 in a FWD.. I doubt you need the "system" at these speeds especially in those tyres.

    • @MickDrivesCars
      @MickDrivesCars  Год назад +2

      100% correct, it was just my first time out in rain with new tires so I had no idea how the car would react.
      This entire video I was going like maybe 4/10 or 5/10. Hopefully it will rain again soon and I can hit everything a little harder.

      @@MickDrivesCars How did you find them? I have them on my mx-5 for 6 months and they grip seriously good on heavy rain.

      @@PheliciaBG So the Bridgestone S001 I had on there before were very good in the dry but would spin at half throttle in 3rd gear in the wet.
      There's a clip in this video of me in this video, full throttle in 2nd and the tires HOOKED UP. I honestly didn't even think that was possible.

    Why is your traction control turned off, sorry car noob here

    • @daniboglut5120
      @daniboglut5120 7 месяцев назад +1

      traction control is there to help your car not slide around and by doing that it limits the grip threshold of the tires. For example if you have traction control on and the car feels that it s starting to slide, it will slow down the other tires so the speeds of the wheels match, therefore stablizing the car. On race mode, (also, every car that goes on tracks has NO traction control for the most part, or a very subtle one if so) the driver would rather have some slip in the tires if it means not losing the speed, because the traction control does not slow the other tires down.

    • @A3roSc0pe
      @A3roSc0pe 2 месяца назад +1

      @@daniboglut5120It doesn’t slow down the other 3 tires, it reduces the power going to the tire that is detecting the loss of traction. However, on some cars instead of reducing the power sent to the wheel, sometimes it could apply the brakes to that one wheel that is experiencing the traction loss. If the other 3 tires were to match the tire loosing grip, the whole car would loose grip and you’d die.
