the character simply doesnt fit this agreesive game his game plan is too simple and slow
@@blastingpewI’m gonna preface by saying I think kizzie is a strong and intelligent player all around, and that he has not been back on strive long or played much is season 3 so I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. This is a player issue not a character issue. Ky is rated very highly , top 7 area in character strength, and is in the strongest position he has been in since launch. Ky has some of the best offense in the game and hard wins neutral more than any other character. Danny, tyurara, fern22, these players have no problem placing high and getting results on ky, it’s a style issue. Kizzie only once used wild assault. The whole video. The mechanic that everyone who actually has been playing strive understands is absolutely broken and should be used as aggressively as you can. He used it for a HKD with no real setup. Ky can get in off almost any stray interaction in neutral and force strike throw off of wild assault. If you are doing what kizzie is doing playing like it’s season 2 still your going to have a hard time. In reality he just hasn’t played season 3 enough but thinking that Ky isn’t obscenely strong or doesn’t fit in the current version is straight up incorrect.
And if you need to know I main Ky. Not a drop of downplaying this character is fucking busted.

@@ValorCrossHeart yea no i am not saying ky is the worst character right now no i am just saying whats his problems i guess everyone in this game has some sort of high low broken mix ups or moves that are super plus but ky beside his great mid range that give him better natrual he has nothing more to offer even his presure is ez to react to and counter and i think this season with he is at his best specially with the new system mechanic he can finnaly confirm his far slash into a combo but i still think that he is way too simple way too ez to react to i mean his fire balls which should be his main game plan are mid like i guess leo who is a mix up character has a better dp and projectiles than ky who should be the one who is better at those and then even if he hit u with projectile his down back kick special move is sooo ez to react to with 6p and since he has no over heads or hard mix ups up close u kinda crouch and fd and wait until he is out of stuff to do his strike throw playstyle is fine but again nothing too crazy he is just mid like if i got beaten by a ky player lets say as ram i am 100% aint complaining i guess anytime i lose to a ky player its a hats off to the player cuz this character has no bs and the player who won not his character so all i am saying is he is a fair character in a game where everyone is crazy and isnt fair
@@ValorCrossHeart Ky's offense is not strong when you compare it to pretty much every other character. It's just ok. You have to bait someone into throw teching or backdashing/jumping with Ky on offense and it's pretty risky. I don't think I saw Kiz shimmy at all against that Sol and missed a bunch of potential missed techs. Not to mention how shit he is against IB because he doesn't have any good blockstring ender. Playing against a good dash-blocker is so much pain.
Where he shines is neutral, defense, and consistency. I do agree that Kizzie isn't utilizing his resources properly. He's not playing s3 Ky

He was just playing really patient. Umisho is always interesting to watch because she plays patiently and rushdown. So for me it was boring watching this dude hope for Kyle to slip up intead of making awesome plays of his own. 🐱@@sleepfgc
