I just got my 2023 V4S but I’m in NY otherwise I definitely would have bought from you, this video link should be in the manual or Ducati themselves should copy you 🙄 Is it safe to say that most of this applies to my 2023?
Since you are the most knowledgeable salesman I have ever seen maybe you can clear something up for me: “Slide Control” seems to be an additional aspect to standard TC, my 2014 ZX10R with TC on #1 slides right through turns. After spending a bit of time I still haven’t found a full technical explanation on the difference between Slide Control, TC and Wheelie Control. On a 2014 ZX10R TC does all three; when the roads get warm I guess I’ll find out on my own with the V4S I just added to the garage.
I just buy v4s with street legal akrapovic allot carbon of course that bike is beast and I have now around 220hp so im in love again :))))) video coming soon because it is freaking cold 🥶and yes the stock exhaust sound really damn good but with acrapovic titanium slip on sounds much better so little bit louder and thunder sound I JUST LOVE IT
@@MrArmorcat it gives power increase, as long as the écu remap and high flow air filter is installed, you average around 10+ horsepower at the wheel with the slip on
First time I have ever seen the word avionics applied to electronics outside of aviation where it covers flight management systems, EFIS, and navigation sensors.
I'm going with the 2022 V4, not the S. I plan on getting carbon fiber rims and adding akrapovik exhaust later. It would be pointless for me to spend more now to get the upgraded Marcheseni wheels when I'm going to be replacing it carbon fiber wheels. You can always upgrade the suspension to fixed Ohlins, lithium battery, and Ohlins steering damper afterwards....it'll make the bike more fun too going thru the upgrades.... baby Supperleggera!
I’m a bmw s1000rr guy owned two of them 2015 and 2018.I might be picking up a 2020 V4 for 19k with only 2k miles because you won’t be able to find a 2020 bmw s1000rr for under 21k these days.Think it’s worth it?thanks
You can use tune boy to make cruise control, for instance you can change écu to make the ignition button cruise control activation, while ridding, press ignition button twice activates it and cancels it
@@mikesampont6091 solid choice of a bike!! How do you like it? I hear that 1290 engine is a beast! are the ergonomics good on it? I’ve been thinking about getting something like that, I ride a 2007 1098 and 2020 panigale v4 and I’m at the age where I need something more comfortable, the V4 feels ok for a longer ride but the 1098 makes me feel like it chewed me up and spit me out after a 45 minute ride

Well there is not much of a choice when it comes to street legal after market exhausts. There is the overpriced akrapovic slip-on or the QD Gunshot exhaust but I heard that the QD exhaust causes some loss of power instead of gain
DONT NEED it , for real, irl sound stock is incredible and the double blow out is soo good symetrical placed , love it stock , asymtrical akra naa dont look good , dont now how it sound irl but the look is off point with akra ❤
they need to compete against BMW's S1000RR & S1000XR's "cruise control" feature. If the V4 & V4 S had that feature more people would buy the V4S for sure....Of course I understand that BMW is the best technologically advance bike in the world. But, damn, V4S should at least include cruise control...
@@Avionyx yeah, you probably right brotha man. But, I have both the v4 R & the 2020 Mv Agusta Brutale 1000RR and my Brutale has cruise control and it's also a track bike !! I have a 2019 V4 Speciale ... it's a life time keeper of a bike! Been 100% reliable with over 8000 miles now and almost 2 years.
Holy crap, a salesman that knows something! Thanks for the informative video.

The street legal slip-on gives the bike no increase in power if i'm not mistaken :s

It is supposed to be a 6% increase on the streetfighter, with the map and the high flow air filter

Very detailed. 🙏🏻
Is the V4S wider then the V4 and have different fairings, front frame? it kinda looked like it in the video
Slight differences like a few added spoiler fairings, for example, and no I don't think its any wider than the V4.
Does it have a fuel gauge and cruise control? Awesome review.
Thank you! But to answer your question, it does not have a fuel guage but it does have a low fuel light indicator.
this bike has everything except a fuel gauge and cruise control.
You can use tune boy to make cruise control, for instance you can change écu to make the ignition button cruise control activation, while ridding, press ignition button twice activates it and cancels it

u think the "V4S" is worth the extra money when most probably will not be used on track? and are the wings detachable?
Nah, its just a few upgrades over the standard V4. The winglets are most likely detachable but not sure how without taking the front fairing off.
You can take the winglets off and there are covers that can be installed in place of them

Maybe the fact that Ducati designed these as more of a track bike is the reason they didn't add cruise control.
