Also interesting to have confirmation that the real reason why still hasn't been said and may never be said. We all knew that of course, but actually having it said like that in plain words was not what I was expecting to hear when watching this.

I played Palm Beach par 3 when i lived over in West Palm. Such a beautiful area with massive homes along the coast. The wind was killer out there but so glad i can say ive played it. Love your videos and personality Rick !!
First podcast of yours I have watched. I really enjoyed it. I have just got in to playing golf more regularly and your videos with good good were the first on RUclips I had seen. So thought this would be an ideal start. It just means another channel to keep up to date with as I now watch all good good, bubbie, Micah and Ricks videos. Would never of thought that I use to ask earlier this year ‘what ever do people watch/search on RUclips?’ Now I have the bug and watch a golf video every night. Keep up the good work!
Great pod cast as usual. I can appreciate wanting to dish out the big news on good good which we all want to hear.. But I appreciate even more on keeping a confidence until they are ready to spill the beans.
If you need help learning how to read grain then go over to the cup and which ever side is broken that is the direction that the grain is going so say you are standing over the cup and it is going to the right ( in consideration to where your ball is) that is the way the put will go if the grain is overpowering the slope
Awesome to see Rick played Palm Beach Par 3. I have played there in almost every trip I have taken to Florida and loved it. The course and clubhouse is amazing with a good restaurant on top.

Watching your up and down journey over the last few months has encouraged me to try to up my game at 72. Practice more which is paying off expecially with confidence which is showing on the course. Thanks Rick for your real world content.
Rick, check out the 103 courses in The Villages, FL, about an hour from Orlando. Yes, it's a 55+ community, but they've got everything from 18 hold putt putt courses (holes are 30-80 yds, pitch and putt courses (50-100 yds) and championship & executive courses, including designs by Nancy Lopez and Arnold Palmer. Simply amazing.

A very interesting show today. Lots of laughs....I felt like I was right there imagining what it would be like to play there. I just bought my first "adjustable" driver and got professionally fitted- got a better shaft and loft. So excited. The fitter told me to try it out and he would adjust it if I find it is needed. I have been only playing for 7 months. Been completely obsessed. Just started some lessons today to tweak my swing and get some practice drills.

I played about 20 rounds at floridian when it was under Wayne Huizenga ownership. I remember the course being in perfect shape, not overly difficult, and the clubhouse spared no expense. perhaps it's changed a bit since then, but fond memories for sure. loblolly pines in Stuart is another amazing course, VERY difficult

How you guys broke down the "Deer Rick" question from the guy w/ the Nike Sumo driver was brilliant. The apparel analogy made a lot of sense. Swing speed doesn't seem like the only factor in how stiff or not stiff your club shaft should be. Rick saying is going to stay out of the Good Good break up for the time being and just leave it be is the best thing he could say.

I’ve lived 10 minuets from Palm Beach Par 3 for 28 years. Finally played it last month during the windiest conditions I’ve ever played. Still such a fun course! Wish I would’ve run into Rick there
Professionals leave positions all the time for a variety of reasons (everything from money to time with family). The result of all this change is that we are getting more content with greater variety with people who genuinely know what they are doing. A win all around (especially for us, the viewers).
Rick been watching for quite some time, probably over a decade. Not much of a podcast person, but this was great to watch. Would love to host you in Phoenix or LA, the west coast is great!
The Pro did well! I had a fitting for irons this past spring. Had my eyes on a set and the pro I did the fitting with sold me a cheaper set because the numbers showed they worked for me better. Much respect to those pros willing to be honest than being out to over sell! Especially when it comes to new/newer golfers going for the 1st time
This was a TREMENDOUS pod IMO. Rick bringing the vibes back from America, just a really fun one to listen to. I hope Rick has more plans to return to The States multiple times in 2023!
Never happen, on their own or otherwise. I think some relationships and friendships will recover over time, but they're not going to hug it out and reconcile. So much difference in life stages and maturity levels in that group made it inevitable for membership change.
I went through the same experience as that fellow. I wanted to upgrade from my old Ping G-20 but there was no driver on the market that outperformed my driver. What I constantly noticed was how heavy all these new driver felt to me. I just couldn’t control them. Maybe there’s something to unconsciously tailoring one’s swing to suit their clubs, or driver. As a side note, I play G-425 irons and I love them, as well as the 4 crossover. That club is fun!

Professionals leave positions all the time for a variety of reasons (everything from money to time with family). The result of all this change is that we are getting more content with greater variety with people who genuinely know what they are doing. A win all around (especially for us, the viewers).

The Pro did well! I had a fitting for irons this past spring. Had my eyes on a set and the pro I did the fitting with sold me a cheaper set because the numbers showed they worked for me better. Much respect to those pros willing to be honest than being out to over sell! Especially when it comes to new/newer golfers going for the 1st time

Never happen, on their own or otherwise. I think some relationships and friendships will recover over time, but they're not going to hug it out and reconcile. So much difference in life stages and maturity levels in that group made it inevitable for membership change.
I went through the same experience as that fellow. I wanted to upgrade from my old Ping G-20 but there was no driver on the market that outperformed my driver. What I constantly noticed was how heavy all these new driver felt to me. I just couldn’t control them. Maybe there’s something to unconsciously tailoring one’s swing to suit their clubs, or driver. As a side note, I play G-425 irons and I love them, as well as the 4 crossover. That club is fun!

Rock star, lol no one outside of 1 million people know him. There are 25 million golfers in the usa. Any Saturday field of 150 people and maybe 6 people will know who he is
