Glad to see a four door saved, I've been driving a '79 Dodge St. Regis as a three season daily for almost 30 years. Four doors deserve respect and care too.
@@Chuck_House_of_Mopar Compared to a 1980 Cordoba I used to have, I'd say it wasn't particularly floaty. My dad had the St. Regis for 10 years and added a rear anti sway bar to it and I added 7 inch wheels and somewhat firmer shocks. When the power steering gear box wore out around 240,000 miles, I replaced it with a level 1 box from Steer and Gear. It carves corners surprisingly well.
I believe that any classic car that is still on the road and is a daily driver is awesome. Keep up keeping those cool car's on the road.
Thanks Edward, I'll do my best.

Yes, I agree. I'm sure that St. Regis float down the road. Not so much with Thelma.
Thanks

YEP! No denying it... I think you and Thelma have finally bonded. SWEET!
Thanks Frank, yep she's pretty cool.
Man she sounds good. Alway save the 4 door cars they need some love too.
Runs like a little sewing machine. She gets plenty of looks and no one sees the extra doors.
She's a driver sweet 👍👍
Yep, having fun with her now.
My man BAD CHAD just got one ...I thought this was it .cheers
Yeah I saw that Bryan, his is a two door as well.
Once in a while it's necessary to make a rolling change down to first;...a little practise in the (easy) art of double-declutching is the way to go!
Thanks Paul, I pretty much treat it like my Diesel truck and almost never use first at all.
No no synchro in low on a ‘56. You really didn’t need it, only returned to low from full stop. But mine was 6 Cylinder.
Exactly! As long as I don't come to a full stop, she just powers out of a slow roll. 3.77 rear gear.
Not a thing wrong with a 4-door. Are you going to do anything with the rust underneath, Chuck?
- Ed on the Ridge
Ed, yeah I'd like to get to the rust. The front floor pans aren't great either. I'm planning on fixing the trunk and the spot under the battery first.
Did u have the key on whe n u were cranking it?
Yeah, I did. At least when I wanted it to start.
YOU MAY HAVE TO POLORIZE THE REGULATOR.
It's been a while since this went up, she charges just fine. Needed a new voltage regulator.
Thanks
