You are doing a great job fixing it up! It’s going to just get better from here on. I feel both mine and your Yanmar excavators were neglected a bit before we got them. I think it will last you a long time 👍 especially the fact you are improving it. Thanks for posting. Ps that tank for the coolant is an expansion tank, I bet you can find a tank on an older car to replace it with, you run the hose out from the hose barb on the side of the radiator out to the tank, it’s designed to push fluid out if it gets hot into the tank, when it cools down it will draw it back into the radiator, that’s as long as it’s all in good shape. The hose can’t have any air leaks, it’s got to be a good seal all the way down below the coolant level in the expansion tank. I hope that makes sense.
Andris, one more channel is MartyT! He’s in either Australia or Wales , this guy can fix anything and I’ve asked him questions about my Dodge Cummins and he’s given me advice! He’s another cool friend to ask Questions on Diesel or gasoline engines!
There should be a hose from the radiator cap to the overflow bottle. That bottle needs a new cap. Radiator cap is likely needing replaced. Fill the bottle to the cold line.
It's actually an expansion tank. You are correct regarding the hose. There should be a small diameter hose from the neck of the radiator to the top shoulder of the bottle. The bottle should contain coolant between mine and max levels. As the coolant gets hot and pressure increases the radiator cap opens and the water flows into the expansion bottle. As the water cools and the pressure returns to normal the higher pressure in the expansion chamber forces the water back into the radiator. At one time it used to be standard to let it run to waste but this closed circuit is more efficient. It is perfectly OK to run it as it is but the coolant level will have to be checked regularly by removing the radiator cap....i.e. the old fashioned way. It is I important that the radiator cap is in good working order and the expansion bottle cap makes a good seal.

There is a method to check CO2 in the coolant, because that would indicate a defective head gasket. The part looks like the spindle with which you check antifreeze.
yeah i know, as iv owned it for 2 years now. the Engine oil has not changed colour anymore, it stays nice and black (diesel engine) also the coolant level never drops, it has stayed the same. I suppose it was rainwater that got down into the engine after sitting?
Hi! I have a similar B25V, and recommend to install a water temperature control gauge. This kind of machines usually don't have it. Good video, best luck with the machine. I not having good luck with it, now is the swing motor replacement, because Yanmar don't provide spare parts to fix it:(
@@Ants_Pants trying to find some one to reproduce the original parts. One new swing motor costs almost 4000 euros. Used one is not easy to find. If you need some repair manual, feel free to ask. Maybe the machines b27 and b25V are similar.

New motor was almost 2k
I changed the oil and it never turned milkshake anymore, i assume water got into the engine from exhaust pipe, if you change the oil and it still turns grey then you most likely have a blown head casket or the coolant gets into the engine oil through some other way
Thanks 🥰 I’m looking forward to see what you will use «the kirovits» for 😁 must be a awesome machine to haul a big dumper trailer is you need to transport some gravel or stone 😉
does that hose underneath where you were showing the new and old grease go up to a remote greasing zerk? lots of machines that have hard to get to greasing locations use them, follow that line up top and see if it ends with a grease zerk. you can probably get a free manual for that machine online. love your channel
28:55 The vape is from oil and is due to cylinder blow-by. It produces crankcase pressure, which you notice on this machine because its crankcase is vented to athmosphere via the hose. On a car that hose is routed back to engine intake. See an example of extreme blowby: ruclips.net/video/Gd7YYHu-S_I/видео.html
@@Ants_PantsHi, Andris! It is P.T.O control according to parts catalogue. Most likely it is adjusting hydraulic oil flow depending on equipment used (cylinder or drive motor)

Where is the switching mechanism for the speed change. Best of luck with your many projects. Chuck in northern CA.
hey Chuck, i was unable to get the manual for it, i did find some parts diagram, its little of help but, at least i can get general idea of the machine and it's inner workings. The thing is that it's a grey market machine and it has no proper documents (maybe in japanese somewhere) Funny you mentioned the drive motor, mine just broke like less then a week ago 😂😂 can spin the stupid sprocket by hand.... ughh. Why do you think you need a new pump? is it slow/no power? The faster speed switcher-oo should be a tiny pedal left side bottom, near the floor
Never run the starter on low voltage. That makes the starter draw enough current to burn the windings or commutator or break the winding connection to the commutator. Bad relays can also cause excessive voltage drop if the contacts are corroded.
