  • In this video you will see some lessons learned by my son working a young bluetick puppy that we have in for blood tracking training.

    Pretty pup.
    Happens to the best of us.
    I like to have a strong recall before we’re in the woods. I hate waiting on a dog to come back and don’t want to lose one to who knows what.

      We typically have a strong recall as well. In this case, the dog was not of age for collar conditioning, and we had limited time. Tracking is what the owner wanted us to focus on. She will be returning for us to collar condition.

    Great video, and no you can't let go of the lead line, I have a bloodhound that pulls like a tank, better not let go though are he's gone!gone.!!
