you are absolutely right, that top may be a printed veneer, but it is gorgeous all the same! I threw as many Volgoa guitars on a favorites list just so i can keep checking to see if any come back in stock. There is another model, 2 colors - pink and blue, and i saved those too, but it's just a standard strat body, nothing special. Thanks for another banger from the Stanger!
I had one of these for about 3 days last year, and it was not glossy at all. There was a lot of fret work that needed to be done, and I wasn't up for the task. Had a decent feel and sound though, so I kind of regret sending it back.
@matta1899 I have heard that there were a few issues with the flat finish ones..I was shocked when I got this one..it was gloss..wasn't expecting that..must be the update ones
Sweet axe,i got bones back from the repair shop and he plays like butta,while i was looking up volume knobs i came across 4 clear ones and bought em,ya know customize him? And the next upgrade? Real grovers,the knock offs will work til then, i must add bones is heavy af thou

The thing is beautiful. Nice looking guitar. But it's just not a player. You warned us. And yeah - that neck is way to wide for me. Not chunky, just like you said. But wide fret-board. My hands are average size.... maybe just a touch small, but not much. And it just doesn't play well for me. Pickups are fairly hot, but not articulate at all, with the high gain I use (more melodic rock type gain). Still - I'm interested in this one, b'c they look so good. I could change out the Pups. And just deal with the wide board! For $159? Yeah. A beauty!

The neck looks like an 18" radius/ baseball bat. Some people like that. The Gibson 50`s are very thick neck. I am a thin 12" radius neck. If this works for you. not a bad price. Great video, thank you-God bless.

Sometimes it's simple other times more complicated. "Skullanna" that came absolutely organically. You were pretty new to RUclips and I only just saw the Facebook page and Instagram. I hope when you have 8-9 hundred comments on a video the business aspect of all of this doesn't take away the artistry involved. I like the different changes though. The intro is cool as hell. I I don't think I'd buy a $150 PRS copy. They are ugly guitars so the only reason to get one is because of playability and tone. I can't see a Chinese budget PRS being that great.

When PRS came out in the 80s I remember thinking they look like a Grandpa's guitar. At the time I was playing a lot of HSS Strat types. Kramer, Hamer, and Fender. Eventually started kind of getting into Tele's. Now I got a couple of Les Paul's, a SG, fender tele deluxe, thin line tele, fender strat, standard tele, and I got a bunch of vintage Japanese hollow body stuff including a violin shaped as well as a Harmony bobkat with those badass DeArmond gold foils. I like rough edges, PRS is seem like a guitar for a a cover band or someone wanting a really polished refined sound. I guess they have their own sound but it's just not a sound that really care for, I respect their construction and I think they play well I just think they're ugly and I don't like the way they sound. Again nothing against you just making a comment
Doesn’t look like high end PRS at all. 😒 Hard to find a company that actually make a real PRS copy. They have Les Paul’s and Strats down pat , but for some reason can’t do a PRS correctly.
