really love the ride along commentary/ story telling in videos like these when you're riding with someone. it gives some Nate Hills vibes with the follow cam but with a narrative thats always interesting to hear and listen to
He's smart enough and has been around long enough to know it's pretty pointless to ask someone if they're ok before they even stop tumbling. If they're hurt, they'll tell you right quick.
I hate when people ask that, it's so annoying, especially when you have a tiny "crash" that was clearly harmless but people immediately go "ARE U OK???????????" like you've just fallen off a cliff or something. 😁
You good? No, if I was good, I wouldn't have crashed! But...I do sort of agree that he does seem almost uncaring at times when people crash, but at least he's not laughing before the rider is even finished crashing.
You never know where a casual connection will lead. In the late 80s, a Virginia rider posted in the “dirt pals” column in Dirt Rag, looking for riding friends. Long story short: that ever growing group of friends morphed into MORE, the extremely active and successful MTB club in the Maryland/DC/Virginia. From tiny seeds, great things do grow. I hope the app will sprout great things!
I've been to Moab three times and I love it there. Biking, hiking, and photography!!! Another attraction is the Moab Diner, and the Buckwheat pancakes!!! They are AMAZING!!!
Absolutely will be riding something new in about three weeks, headed to Durango for a few days and then over to Moab, definitely want to ride these trails! Wow!
Did this Oct 1st, and Jimmy Keen was a muddy mucky mess. The FS Road was so fast and so fun though. As much of a blast as parts of Porcupine were, next time I will 100% take this detour route - especially seeing that it drops off at Slickrock! Thank Brian, for showing this off! Hazard-> Kokopelli-> UPS-> Early Exit/Raptor Route-> Slickrock is my new dream setlist for a day in Moab :)
I rode falcon flow early this year and like you said it takes longer than you would think. It's a fun trail to get use to Moab biking before the whole enchilada!
Wow! I bet no one, noticed the rock on the right. He was out jogging apparently. :) Hope that dudes wrist is ok, it looked like quite a fall from over the bars.
Navajo rocks was spicy on my hardtail . The thing about a hardtail it can change a blue trail black . The Moab Brian trails can be quite chalanging for my hardtail so I stuck with the blue trails
I think every mountain biker should do Slickrock once... :) Only reason I've done it twice is because I went to Moab with someone who hadn't done it yet.
I've had a few people tell me it is overrated. Just exhausting climbs and short downs. It gets old, being the same thing over and over. Even after being told all that, I still want to try it, just cause it is an "iconic" place to ride and tell myself I did it.
It went together easily in less than an hour. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.
I don't see the doom and gloom on gas a diesel like you do. Having an electric charger every trail head (and probably more) will be incredibly problematic. Also pretty ugly.

Aw man you had my stomach twist when you went to the edge of the ledge. Camera views on point
Love how Brian never asks people if they are ok,after a crash😂 He would never make the cut on Friday Fails!
Lmao

I love how he picked up the bike before his friend.

Happy Holiday BKXC from Philippines hehe :)

So great to finally see some more options in Moab 🤘🏽

Great video. Love the on bike interview with mics. Excellent idea - more please.

That link up between the 2 trails didn't look boring at all! Haha! That's Moab for you.

Sick Riding Dude!! Great video Brian as always!! And Merry Christmas🎅🎅😁😁
I got to shuttle this twice like a week after you. Even climbed Hazard County for a bonus downhill. Super good.
Hey Brian,
Greetings from Fruita!
"Bone jarring slapping of the rocks"?
Another fine quote.

I think every mountain biker should do Slickrock once... :) Only reason I've done it twice is because I went to Moab with someone who hadn't done it yet.

“Can you smeeellllll, what the Rock, is cooking’?!!”

I 🥰 The Rock smelling the Chicken Enchilada @ 8:52.
I can’t even comprehend how people can do a 30 mile mountain bike ride, I’m done in after 10
Very very nice video dude!!
Cool ride!
Thanks Brian. Adding this to my ride list for Moab this spring. Keep the rubber side down.
This thing is amazing
Would love to know your GoPro settings and mount again. Your videos look tip notch👌
US looks so beautiful! Most likely I will never see that with my own eyes...
Why not
Too cold up there
Head down to Maricopa and Ill take you for a ride
Awesome stuff 🤘🔥
Cool video bro.
The AUDIO is AMAZING! How do you set this up between 2 people? THANKS
Some serious sand pits on Slickrock too.
are you just using a GoPro or some extra gimbal? Very good footage.
Snotch sounds like it should be added to urban dictionary.
your voices sound so similar i was thinking you were speaking to yourself for a second lol
I m guessing when will u ride your new bike eagerly waiting
People hate slickrock? I've never heard that! I think it's awesome...

Chicken enchilada. I like it.
Maybe I didn’t catch this, but when did you ride this?
Moab looks a bit better now with more options, thought you were dropping off that cliff….
@4:55, the go pro effect is real here, that slab roll is nearly vertical and huge haha.
As often as you talk about riding naked, you should look for a WNBR near you to try it. It is more fun than you can have with your clothes on.
Did you put that new rear tire on? It kinda looks like you did :)

What was the temperature when riding?
I still have my B&W BKXC sticker on my mirror...
Are these blue trails as hard as they look. Would they be black trails on the east coast.
Thanks for the great videos !!!
2nd
Why no blue bike?
Me who don,t have bicycle but i have dream to do it by looking video i am fulfilling my dream
Smart way to advertise something..
Why ridè the enchilada when you could eat it lol
That would NOT be a good trail to lose a brake lever on..
Boy I sure hope your wrong about no gas stations in 20 years! Long live the internal combustion engine...and mt bikes!!!!!
Never heard of the app, never seen the app, def need to find a better way to promote the app.
I'm sorry but Pastimes is garbage here in CT. Love the videos as always but can't agree with using this app.
I live near CT, I’ve always been curious about how the app actually is. Never tried it tho lol
