THE TIP WHERE YOU MENTION “quick, fast motions” IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL no one has told me this before and I just tried it out and it turned out better than before! My lines usually end up stiff and not so elegant, but with this things look much natural. Of course, I have to un-learn my previous habits and doing sudden lines without hesitation is kind of scary at first haha. 😅
How does this channel not have 8 million subs? There’s so many tutorials I never know which one I’m gonna do. So I just sit there and I admire the beautiful artwork… as well and taking tips of course.😅❤❤
YOU MARCEL ARE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR BY THE WAY YOU TEACH BECAUSE YOU DESCRIBED EVERYTHING VERY UNDERSTANDABLE AND EASY TO KEEP UP WITH YOUR TEACHINGS SO AGAIN KEEP IT UP AND I JUST SUBSCRIBED TO YOU AND PRESS THE BELL AS WELL TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN YOU UPLOAD A NEW VIDEO OF YOUR TEACHING AND YOU ARE DOING GREAT SO FAR MARCEL
Man the off hand method just makes so much sense to me now. As someone starting out I couldn’t figure out why sometimes my hair would look great and other times it just looked awful. I guess I was doing off hand at certain points without actually understanding. I also had “learned” that crossing of two lines and erasing the middle trick naturally through practice but before this video I just couldn’t process why I had a hard time replicating it sometimes. Now that I know how it all works it seems so simple! where before I was winging it and getting mixed results not knowing why. It’s funny how so simple art can be when you understand the method to the madness.
how long have you been drawing and for? also what is the name of the manga you've done? i'd also like to say thank you for your uploads, they're super helpful
Thank you Marcel. I've been watching your videos and taking notes in my journal with my sketches! Your tips have made me feel so much more confident about this new, beautiful hobby that helps center and ground me💗🦋
hello Mr.Marcel i am chinmay arya and i am 11 years old i watched your videos regularly and practice dailyand now the result I can shade realesticly before i am best in my class but after watching your videos i am the expert in my class thank you so much☺
What about wet long hairs ? Since water makes the strands of hair join eachother , is it correct to draw bigger strands with less singular strands and also less curved ?
you helped me a lot with all your videos but specially in this one, I get always stuck with the long hair. Thank you so much for making those incredible videos.😃
I just had to pause the video to point out something I learned besides from long hair. It may sound stupid but, I noticed in when you changed the face expression, the eyes stayed the same(added some tears), then the eyebrows were shifted, and it's mouth of course was changed too. That being said I learned that not only do the mouth help show its different expression but, even the eyebrows. Meaning so does the cheeks help change expression and nose too I guess.
Hey my friend, thanks for the advice. I have been struggling with drawing a full head of long hair, which from what I understand is very different from just drawing dozens of strands until the head is full. Got any advice or tips? Thanks
Kinda liked drawing and decided to finally get into it cuz me and my friend wanna make a manga for fun as a hobby But right now today is my gfs birthday so I wanted to get her a gift a figured a draw would have sentimental value it’s currently 4:17 am and I’m so grateful for this channel and tutorials so thank you even after years your still helping beginners and I’d be lying is all this drawing is a bit intimidating
can i request, about face emotions and wrinkles in face, how to draw aged characters(from kid to old)and how to draw consistent character, different body types(f and m)🙂🙇🙏
I was so focused but paused in that Google part 😂😂. Anyway thank you very much for this helpful video, thank you for the effort, it's like you're my shishou.
