I stopped drawing over eleven years ago, there were plenty of times over the years that I tried to pick it back up but like any skill, I felt stagnant after too long without practice. Your videos have helped me get back to practice in a way that I don’t feel that I “lost my touch” while at the same time learning new small tricks to better myself than when I was at my best. I actually enjoys this, i finds it difficult to draw hair raw, like without foundation, your red outlines give me just enough pillars to carry my god awful creative mind.

Just wanted to say, I found this channel because someone linked me to the "how to draw ANYTHING" video. I just picked up a sketchbook the other day and have resolved to make a page of circles and squares every single day to practice the fundamentals. But, I was curious what your other videos were like and, seeing this video (after watching the anatomy and poses video), it's amazing how well you break down the drawing process in a way that even a total newbie who's never drawn a person before can understand. Legitimately, even though I just kinda spent last night (I work overnights) drawing the circles and squares, the way you broke down this video in a way that I can understand and (eventually) follow is amazing. I feel like when I finally attempt these concepts, I won't feel lost, because every single step has been broken down in such a way that practically hands the keys to the path to being a better artist! Looking forward to eventually re-visiting each of your videos when I get to the level I feel confident enough to tackle the concept involved! :D

I used to put a helmet to cover the hair so I didn’t have to draw it. Now I draw it for same reason except I’m decent at drawing hair now. Thanks a lot drawlikeasir
For the beginners, And also remember that the hair always looks like a leaf shape. You can change the size thinner or thicker it's up to you as long as it looks like a leaf shape. it's not actually straight and that is the reason why the hair you draw looks stiff.
