Floor has not recorded a studio version of this song. The only studio version is, I think, with Tarja. After Floor started singing this song, it is pretty well established that this is HER song...no other version comes close. Congratulations on your first Floorgasm !!!!! I never heard of this band until they started doing them. I am old school. But I am getting more and more use to it and into it.
I am old school to. I discovered Nightwish on RUclips when I was about 61 years old. They are now my favorite band of all time. I listen to them everyday. They have gotten me through tough times over the years. Just keep listening, because you never know what to expect. Make sure you go back to their earlier music with the different singers. Again a great reaction video too a great song. Yes theres alot of reaction videos on here about nightwish. But its what you takeout of the experience i love watching your emotions when you view or hear something for the 1st time. Its just fanstatic theres soooo much more out there. Music is very important to me helps me remember the good times with my late wife who passed away lastyear. We also enjoyed music together.

Not every band could be a touring one. Nightwish is a touring band. I think it's better to watch them pretty each time we miss em.

Maybe now they could fill bigger venues eventhough they still are not, and never will be, a radio play friendly band...
Yep... the backstage and the whole show Nightwish brings are amazing so the live performances _with_ a video are prefered by the fans. The raw emotion and the whole vibe are different..

She is amazing. She does this song on tour 4-5 days in a row, and she does it every time, don't know how she does that. I really think you should do a third one still, in Buenos Aires 2012...a small theatre packed with people, and how she does that final note...sure will blow you away...it isn't even floorgasm, it's something else!
She said that this one note somehow came out even when she was ill and had to make compromises during the whole set.

This performance of this song has to be one of THE greatest live performances of all time, of any song, by any band. It's flawless, unbelievable, incredible. I've watched this video countless times, watched loads of reaction videos and I'll keep watching it. Mesmerising and mind-blowing.

Great reaction guys. There's no right or wrong order do things but I remember watching this without knowing what to expect and was extra blown away. Im still getting over it 10 months later. PS I zoomed in and couldn't see a fly. Are we sure it wasn't an elaborated hoax, just to get your funny line in? Was good line. Is the fly a Nightwish fan?

Thanks for doing this once more as one can never get enough GLS with Floor. This was the song written for Tarja that really showed all NW fans how awesome Floor is as she changed the ending of the song with the high note and made it her own. The high note at the end also gave us the term "floorgasm", which is now often paired with the term "perfloormance", so this is one floorgasmic perfloormance.
P.S. I have a new band for you, or at least I think so since I couldn't find any videos of them on your channel. They are called Pagan's Mind and come from Norway. They have been around since 2000 and play progressive and power metal. Their vocalist Nils K. Rue is awesome (You may remember him from Ayreon's "The Day That The World Breaks Down") and their lead guitarist Jorn Viggo Lofstad is great also. Jorn also released an album with Floor Jansen under the name Northward. I am usually not a big fan of live performances on CDs vs studio version. However when it comes to Nighwish, I prefer their live music over the studio. Same can be said for Epica as well.
I remember I saw Kamelot in a little club here called The White Rabbit, a month later Nightwish played at that same tiny club and we were just blown away how they were playing little clubs here in the US. The cool thing is after the shows you got to hang out with the bands. So that was cool. There were a lot of huge roaches there and I have a funny story...the female singer for this band called Leaves Eyes were opening for Kamelot and this huge roach fell down her dress right into her chest and she stood there singing the whole song and holding her chest so the roach wouldn’t go anywhere and after the song she ran to the side of the stage and a roadie reached in and pulled out the roach lol.

Floor's stage presence has been favourably compared to Freddie Mercury. More Nightwish, Within Temptation, Delain, Kamelot and Epica PLEASE!? Floorgasmic! I have a semi-similar recommendation, called "Ghost in the Moon" by Avantasia. It's the first song off of an amazing concept album. Symphonic metal, extremely fun, tells an interesting story, and very movie-soundtrack-esque, kind of sounds like something that might come from a whimsical Tim Burton film. I think you guys will really dig it!

What’s the old saying, “What was once old is new again”. It could be argued that Ghost Love Score is not Nightwish’s best song, it is undoubtably the best introduction to the soprano goddess that is Floor Jansen. I’ve listened to this hundreds of times and still love it. Great reaction!!
It's really interesting that a lot (if not most) of the comments I've read here are from about 9 months ago. I never even heard of Nightwish 9 months ago! I found out about them because of another react channel where this song (and venue) were recommended soooooo many times, I just HAD to watch and see what Nightwish was all about. Also, I am NOT a metal fan, but I was FLOORed....(pun intended). I now have listened to all 3 singers and I know there are a lot of Tarja die-hard fans, but I just keep coming back to the way Floor sings it. It just seems to have a lot more power and range to the song. I've heard songs from most of their albums (live seems to be the best) and all I can say is I love Nightwish; most singers sing what they can - Floor sings whatever the hell she wants to sing.

A reaction is best when it is original and virgin to the ear of a specific song. It's not about a critique - it's about the reaction. Listening to the song a second time with visuals isn't as entertaining. Its always best the first time with visuals if you are going to do it on RUclips. No offense. Sorry - its just my 2 cents.

Hi! when you did this song first time round it was a first for me also, although I have the album with Tarja, studio version. I'm glad you did this one :) Great effort with all the music you've been putting up here, most of us metalfans have made this evolution through many years, so catching up is just 3 months must be mindblowing, especially for Kel. Guys i like your revues but i still think use should check out Uriah Heep this is a band from the late 60s they are just as good as Deep Purple who I also like but this band has a different sound try easy living or circle of hands or Paradise/the spell really good tunes

Hey, Floor used to sing in a band called After Forever which started as a kind of symphonic/gothic metal, pretty much like Epica (the guitarist Mark Jansen started both bands), but in their latest works they left it a bit in the background to emphasize a lot progressive elements into the music. Your strategy makes a lot of sense ; listen to a song without visual distraction first... once you're familiar with the audio, then experience it again with video. To dive right in to a video (and a live performance, no less), it's potential sensory overload and so much can be missed, hence not appreciated right away.
You got to go and see them live they are awesome. Brilliant live, seen them twice in London never disappoint

Dammit, Floor kills me...friggin six feet five inches of ridiculous female sensuality, and GAWD what a set of legs (sorry, can't help it...it's my caveman DNA coming up lol). While I'm thinking about it, what's your guy's take on the usage of "backing tracks" during live shows? I hate em, but I'll give Nightwish a little quarter on it because certainly, they can't tote a full orchestra with em all over the place. It'd simply be just cost prohibitive... your thoughts? And, I agree wholeheartedly about listening to the "studio version" of anything before I watch it live. I've seen right at two hundred shows in my fifty-four years, and those complaining about "over production" haven't been to enough live concerts. All the flair, pomp, and pyro stuff is partly why you buy tickets and see something like this. It's part of the whole experience. Nightwish is tailor made for arenas and stadiums...it just wouldn't translate to a bar or other small venue (and I know what I'm talking about here). If "Metal" is all you need, then stick to the garage and bar stuff. But I'll bet my bottom dollar that one wouldn't scream "overproduction" at a show by any of the "Big Four." Nightwish is the epitome of that you don't have to play a thousand miles an hour to be "heavy." Dio, Rush, Priest, Maiden, KISS, and a bunch of others have HUGE stage shows, from lighting, props (Eddie of Iron Maiden and Dio with the three-headed cobra that pops out from under the drum kit), to pyros and lasers. And arguably, KISS used to have a ridiculous stage show that topped any other. It's all part of it. Thirty thousand roaring fans in a closed arena, with explosions that hit you in chest, a mosh pit of five hundred fans, and ears that ring for three days after? C'mon...there's nothing like it (and bring earplugs if ever you catch Ted Nugent in an arena. Because the rumors that you've heard about one of his shows are true... he's hands down the loudest show you'll ever go to).

It is among their most popular. I like this band (not just this song) with Roy better than without, but with their new singer they are still really good. I grew up listening to Queensryche and Geoff Tate is still my favorite vocalist. I just love how he is a baritone but can sing with power even way up high. Roy Kahn has his own distinct style, but he does remind me of Geoff Tate somewhat. I just love his tone and the "operatic" style of the music. Think about how fantastic this "Live" video is. Compared to the studio to get this quality of performance only musicians and regular concert attenders realize it. BTW, Floor is on a whole other level when compared to Tarja . Just my opinion. Nightwish is now better than ever. Later.
