8:31 in Spain there’s 4 Different languages and the main is Called Castellano or Español.
Love from London ❤️
thanks for react!!! :D
Catalán is a language on its own, spoken in Cataluña
in spain four languages and some dialects are spoken, catalan is from catalonia, barcelona is from that community..💕
Five languages, Ricardo. Aranese (or Occitan) is a co-official language in Catalonia.
It's not a dialect
@@albertvisa4615 si que lo es maquinote
@@adriterji Es una lengua románica que proviene del latín, tiene sus propias reglas ortográficas, tan difícil es para vosotros entender que es un idioma. El Andaluz seria un dialecto del castellano, el catalán es un idioma, como lo es el Euskera el Gallego el Francés, el Italiano.

ok... in europe there are 12 languages which come from the latin and some of them are spanish, french, italian, galician or catalan. these two last ones are only spoken in spain and rosalia is from catalonia (perhaps you know Barcelona), where catalan is spoken, as in valencia or balearic islands, but in every place is spoken in a different way. and in the video she says bon dia (good morning) and merci (thanks). Pd: Im from mallorca and here we speak mallorquin, which is similar to catalan and i really like your videos
@Francisco Guerrero Espigares por tu nombre entiendo que eres español, el valenciano es un dialecto del catalan, es decir, es la misma lengua pero hablada de distinta manera y por ello se le puede llamar de otra forma. En baleares ocurre lo mismo, existen el mallorquín (lengua que hablo), menorquín e ibicenco. Es lo mismo que ocurre con el español, que en sudamérica se le puede llamar de otra maner como argentino, mexicano o colombiano.
Guys Spain has 5 official languages, Catalan is one of them
NO hay 5 idiomas oficiales, bruto. Sólo hay un idioma oficial que es el español, todo el mundo en España habla español y en otras regiones también tienen su dialecto (cooficial). No son idiomas, son dialectos, pero para que os calláseis os dijeron que eran idiomas cooficiales. Sólo hay un idioma además del español que es el euskera.
I defenitley love you both, im from Spain and i cannot stop laughing of your reactions to the pronunciation and your confussions with some details are awesome, funnys and cute
In Spanish language of Spain we pronounce Ozuna in the way that Rosalía does.🇪🇸🤣👏
i think you would love her 2019 VMA's performance
They already did it
2:08 from what i know the way she said "Ozuna" sounds like "Othuna" because it's a common accent from Spain, a lot of Spanish people pronounce C and Z as the 'th' sound. but if you listen to people from other Latin America countries they usually pronounce it like 'S', so like "Osuna"
In Spain there are different cultures and languages. Everybody speaks Spanish but in Catalunya they speak catalan in basque country we speak Euskera in Galicia they speak Gallego in Asturias asturiano in Valencia valenciano... Etc
Solo hay esas no ?
@@manuellopezferrez7022 Falta el aranés, como lengua oficial en Catalunya.
y el castuo y gallego
Me encantais, hace mucho tiempo que os sigo, se nota mucho que os gusta Rosalía de verdad, sois divertidos y buena gente, vuestras reacciones son muy genuinas.
Gracias , siempre me lo paso bien con vosotros.
Hola! Im spanish girl. I live in Barcelona...❤️ Catalan is a language of Catalonia, Barcelona. In the past, in times of dictatorship in Spain, they forbade speaking Catalan in Catalonia. Now the language is a cultural asset, cared for in schools. Rosalía paid tribute singing that song to in this language. It is also their family connecting language.
I love your videos guys!
6:39 😂😂😂 if you guys would know what she saying
Catalan is the official language of Catalonia ( with the Spanish) but there are different languages. In Valencian Community and Balear Islands dialects of Catalan are spoken.
@Francisco Guerrero Espigares Tanto Valenciano como Catalán son dialectos (variantes geográficas) de una misma lengua. Por conveniencia se usa Catalán como totalizator de la lengua, igual que se dice idioma Castellano y no Andaluz.
catalan is a mixture of spanish and arabic with mediterrenean dialects. Southern Spain such as sevilla, valencia, san lorenzo, ibiza barcelona are all from that region. My parents are from that region too. esta tia es una dura. reyna
There're six official languages in Spain: the most common and mostly daily-used is the spanish or castillian, galician, valencian, vasque, catalonian and aranés.
There're also several non-official languages like bable, silbo (a language made of whistles from Canary Islands to reach long distances) and others...
Valencian is a glossonym of Catalan, used in Valencian Community. It's like Occitan and Aranese, same language with different name according the region.
Catalan is the official language of Catalonia, Valencia, the Balearic Islands, etc. It's a romance language too, so it has things in common with spanish, french, italian, etc. In the past, there were two ways of saying "thanks" in catalan: mercès and gràcies. Nowadays, we normally say "gràcies", and in Catalonia, additionally, we say "Merci", which is french (due to the fact that Catalonia borders on France, I supose).
Every single one of those songs sound so good simply because of this amazing queen Rosalía 😍👑
❤️❤️❤️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 love you both your smiles are beautiful. And the singer is sick! Xxxx
Si within Spain you have different regions and languages. The main language is Spanish but in places like Cataluña they speak Catalan, with is kind of a mixture of French+ Portuguese + Spanish
Amando, Catalan have almost nothing to do with Portuguese, except that both come from Latin, but by different branches. Galician is similar to Portuguese.
When i was in Catalonia I could almost understand it through knowing Portuguese & Spanish, but Catalán sounds beautiful.
Im from spain and is an honor for us your joy!!!! Asi siii i was deeaaaad listen someone from the states or just english speaker saying that hahaha you both are the best
According to Quora, "(Catalan and Occitan) sit between Gallo-Romance (French) and Ibero-Romance (Spanish, Portuguese, etc.) ... But in grammar, Catalan is closer to French than to Spanish." 🌺
You guys are right , Rosalía is from Spain so her accent is different than from the other Spanish-speaking countries.
Catalan is spoken in Galicia. It is spoken a lot in Valencia. It is derived from Latin. It is spoken in Catalonia and Valencia the Balearic Islands. It is also spoken in the Roussillon region of France, Andorra (where it is the official language), and Alghero in Sardinia Italy.
Catalan is not derived from Spanish; it is a completely different language. Catalan is more similar to French than Spanish. Although, what you might recognize as Spanish is called Castellano or Castilian (in English). The other languages spoken in Spain are Galician (Gallego), Basque (Basco), Asturian (Asturleonese), and Gascon/Occitan (Aranese).
te liaste en la primera frase. GALICIA?
The "hot" one is because of the lyrics😂
Hi, guys! You can pronounce Ozuna like "Osuna" or "Othuna". The first option is like we Latinamericans pronounce it and the second one sounds more Spanish. Also, Rosalía is bilingual. She speaks Spanish and Catalan.
Catalan it’s a latin language spoke in some parts of Spain and France and in a part of Sardinia. Have similarities with French. Catalans born bilingual catalan spanish.
love that you two react to a lot of things, I totally stan ❤ from brazil 💛💚💛💚
she has a Spanish and Catalan accent which is why she pronounces things differently then how Shakira would pronounce it with her Colombian accent or how I would pronounce words with my Puerto Rican accent. I love the way she speaks but I know a lot of people who hate her accent cause they can't ever understand what she is saying hahaha.. also Catalan is one of the love languages . many people in Spain also speak Catalan, I don't know much about it, but I tried learning it watching a video tutorial and I could only watch for like 2 minutes cause it gave me a headache trying to learn hahaha I thought it would be easy for me to learn but its not lmfao
Some regions of Spain (or autonomous communities) have a language that is co official of the place. Catalan is the language spoken in Catalonia along with Spanish.
Other languages you may find are Galician in Galicia or Euskera in Basque Country.
Apart from those languages, there are several dialects that are spoken in Spain along with Spanish
We speak catalan in Barcelona, Barcelona is en Catalunya and Catalunya is in Spain!
Yes Rosalia speaks Catalan also Shakira the language is part of Spain 🇪🇸
Sois una pareja muy simpática.
Hi guys I am writing to you from Turkey. I watch all your reaction videos and you are amazing i love you ❤️❤️❤️
I love La Rosalía 💃🏻
Your reactions give me life!!
EXCELLENT SERVICE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
In Spain and Latin America, in some regions we pronounce “z” like “s” and some “c” like “s” too, because of that you hear different ways of pronouncing “Ozuna”, and Catalan is a language of Cataluña, NorthEast of Spain, Where Barcelona is, in Cataluña people speak Spanish (she signs in Spanish) and in Catalan, at home and in the street with family and they mix them all the time, It’s fantastic, in Madrid we only speak Spanish but its similar and we usually understand catalan
Amazing reaction!!!💓💓
There are several official languages in Spain, Castellano (known as Spanish), Catalan ( in Cataluña (Catalunya) region), Gallego ( in the Galicia (Galician) region), Euskadi ( in the País Vasco (Basque Country), plus a other regional dialects like Aragones, Valenciano, Asturiano, etc. Except for Euskadi ( that has its own roots) the rest have Latin roots.
Catalan it's speaks on Catluña (Barcelona, Spain) and specifically it's used on that place. The word merci (on catalan) meaning thanks, and mercy it's the french form to say thanks too.
SHES ADORABLE!
In Spain there are 17 regions, compare to your states, Cataluña is like andalusia, has different provinces and coties.
Catalan is the second language they have in Cataluña. Not all of the regions have a second languaje
In Spain we have diferents second languages and it depends to the place you live in, The most important is castellano=spanish, spoken in all the country and the seconds are valenciano, catalán, euskera, gallego y castuo
Catalan is a language which comes from Catalonia. Catalonia is a "state" or region of Spain which has it's own culture and language. Catalan is not a mix of anything, it is just a different language whith it's own structure, vocabulary and grammar like Spanish, English or Italian.
No matter what, in Spain there is a national language, Castellano or also know as Spanish and that is what every one uses to communicate with each other
haha I knew you would like this
Catalan is basically a dialect, but I`m sure people from Spain can explain better. But as a side not that`s why you can see many comments in her videos saying that even people who speak Spanish don`t understand what she`s saying at times, and I have to admit I`m one of them
and yeah, she`s really cool. I think one of the reasons we (her fans) are so crazy about her is because beyond the talent she has, she is also genuinely a beautiful person
Catalán isn’t a dialect but a language in its own right given it evolved directly from Latin, the same as Castilian Spanish, rather than directly from Spanish. There are variations of Catalan such as Valencian and Mallorcan (spoken in the Balearic Islands). Catalan and all its variations are spoken in Catalonia, Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands, the Perpignan region of southern France, La Franja de Ponent, (a strip of land in the adjacent region of Aragon), and a small number of people also speak it in l’Alguer, (a town in the Italian island of Sardinia), and Yecla, a town in the region of Murcia.
The reason people find her difficult to understand is down to her singing in an Andalusian accent, which isn’t her own accent but something she puts on. Many Andalucians in the comments have mentioned that it is not 100% which makes me think that she’s kind of invented a language or at least a diction of her own. She is one of a kind!
@@_FsEk thanks for educating us. I have some some vague information about Catalan but obviously I'm not in any position to explain it correctly
No worries. Spanish and Catalan are similar given their geographic proximity, hence the mistaken assumption it’s a dialect. Spanish also exerts a tremendous influence on Catalan as does French but on a lesser scale. Btw I agree with what you said about Rosalia. She is likeable and has charisma, beyond being able to sing well.
@@_FsEk got it :) yes, she's so down to earth despite the massive attention she's getting
I really enjoy the video. Thanks you Guys.
Reaction video " el perdon" Diana Navarro, spanish...super!!!!
Hacerlo por favor...
Un Spain they are three parte (like little states) they speak different, they hace two official languages, un Catalonia (Barcelona) they speak catalán , un Vasque Country they speak "vasco" and un Galicia (north/ o) they speak gallego , when she sings she pronuance the spanish un an Andalusian way (at the south) , but andalusianbis not a languagge, is a dialect, dont get confussed :)
In Catalonia have three co-official languages: Castilian/Spanish, Catalan and Aranese/Occitan.
@@sergiopmigoya aranese?
Yes, it’s a language spoken in the Catalonian district of La Vall de Aran in the Pyrenees mountain range by approx. 10,000 people.
@@_FsEk me puedes hablar en catalán, en español y francés también, y he vivido allí diez años, y eso no esta reconocido como idioma, a lo mejor como dialecto
Hola Eme, ahora que he recapacitado y en línea con lo que dijo Sergio, me parece que el Aranes no es idioma si no una variante del Occitano.

Barcelona( Cataluña regións) speak Catalan x I don’t know if anywhere Else does x
Balearic islands
She speaks Castilian Spanish so has more Th sounds x that’s why she says Othuna but South American Spanish with say like Osuna ❤️ it depends on where your from xx
Overcome since in Spain we have a city called Osuna with s. Thats why we are unable to say Osuna when the word is written with z.
Me encantan
she pronounces z, ci,and ce's in words as "th" coz thats how its pronounced in proper spanish/most spanish accents/dialects, i believe in spain only andalucia pronounces it as an s instead of a th, but there could be more.and all of south america pronounces it as an s. where im from, gibraltar, its pronounced as an s since we speak our own little language called llanito, which is a mixture of mainly andalucian spanish and english, but also has strong, portuguese, maltese, italian,, abrabic, and hebrew influences.
Catalonia is part of Spain and they speak Catalan, but it is not related to Spanish. It is a Latin language like Spanish Portuguese French and Italian, but is not the same as Spanish.
Catalán is the language they use in BARCELONA, and all of Cataluña !!!!🇪🇸🇪🇸💜💜💜
you should react to di mi nombre live on late motiv!!!!!! its so cool
i love you guys hahaha
El único idioma oficial es el español, toda España habla español. Hay regiones donde, además, se habla otro idioma muy parecido al español, menos el euskera. En todos los países europeos se hablan varios idiomas en sus diferentes regiones pero sólo tienen un idioma oficial.
Love it!
El catalán es otro idioma aparte de el castellano que se hablan en España. También existe el gallego en Galicia, o el Vasco en el País Vasco. Pero todo dentro de España 👍❤️💋
Yo por ti, tu por mi, sang with Ozuna.
Catalonia is a region of Spain, and in this region they have their own dialect
Is not a dialect.

Do you guys know about Natalia Lafourcade? if the answer is no, please you should check the video ¨desde la Raíz¨... That represents a lot of the Folklor and latin roots in general.
In spain they say words with th like othuna, other spanish speaking countries say Ozuna with a z
You meant you pronounce z as s. In Spain we pronounce the z as th, which is the original sound. If you dont know we have a town called Osuna, written with s and we pronounce it with the sound s as well.
