- Shadow Immigration Minister Dan Tehan launched a scathing attack against Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, pushing him to answer how many Palestinian visas had been cancelled after they were issued.
He joined Sky News host Sharri Markson to discuss this further.
“We think that that information is incredibly important for the Australian people to know,” Mr Tehan said.
“What we saw from the Prime Minister today was him being slippery and evasive to the most basic of questions.
“I think this is really now becoming a character test of the prime minister."

One way to resolve this is for the LNP to point out to Labor what the current immigration law states and if there is something wrong with the current law, then it is up to the parliament to change it. In other words, is Labor actually obeying Australia's immigration laws as they stand? If not, why not?

Rules are not racist, it’s law and order. Why aren’t any other muslim countries taking them in? As a legal and very grateful immigrant coming here more than 26 years ago for the safety of our family, it took us over 2 years to get a visa. We had to have full medicals and police clearance for the whole family before our visas were issued, which made us confident that Australia had very strict and high standards in keeping their citizens safe. Please don’t let dangerous people into Australia 🇦🇺 please keep us and our children safe? Where do we go when Australia isn’t safe anymore?
