The smile on Gracie’s face was priceless.
And to think that some people would call that endangering a child.
That smile made the video. Good parenting at its best
Agreed. Made me smile
@@roberthudson1959 honestly that's kinda sad if someone said that
Ladies is doing it👍👍👍 from Norway
Seeing you take Gracie and your sons off roading brings such a smile to my heart.
You Paul are truly giving your children a wonderful life. I live in the suburbs just outside of San Francisco and all the kids around here are medicated, ignored and put in front of an iPad their entire life. Young girls are over socialized, obsessed with make up, social media and sexuality, Young boys face equal corruptions.
You are raising your children right, and quite frankly one of my heroes. Skål!
Loved seeing Gracie behind the wheel. Great parenting right there
The smile on Grace's face says it all it sure look like everybody was having a great time despite Matt braking a axle and Paul having locker issues all in all a awesome day. God bless you all and as always be safe 👍
You don't break anything, you weren't trying hard enough.
@@GuyChapman so true
My smile was almost as big
Love the confidence you giving your children. In an age of helicopter parents, its great to see your kids getting a chance to learn and practice skills! Good job fab rats!
my parents were to poor to be pilots.
we never owned any helicopters.
Exactly well said
Yes ‼️
You figured those guys for helicopter parents ? 🤣
Matt and Paul are my heroes. Hard working, capable family men with hearts of gold.
I really mean that, they are my heroes, I look up to them and hope to be like them as I grow older.
Imagine watching Marvel movies and thinking those are heroes LOL
I love how you folks included your kids -- much respect!!! =)
Fab Rats make me happy, from the kids being involved, the collaborations with like minded friends and acquaintances, and Paul’s acceptance that it happens. Much respect.
"We can go break somewhere else. Woo Hoo." Best quote by an off-roader. Keep up the great work.
Similar to sailing, which is just fixing your boat in exotic locations where parts are three weeks away.
The family that wheels together stays together!
Loved the daddy daughter wheeling lessons.
there is no relation between those 2 perimeters
I'd love to hear the conversation between Gracie and the High School Driving instructor. He says she needs driving school. She says, "I've already driven over half of Moab in my dad's Yota FJ; what do you have to drive????" 🤣👍
It seems to me that the people in Utah still believe that the family is number one. It is such a pleasure to see. I haven't even seen any kids playing on cell phones. No wonder everybody seems happy.
believe that those boys can be a handful, but they are still so committed that they have decency to wait till the light is off. sory for my English, you should try Dutch.
Everyone I know from Utah hates it
Gracie had an ear to ear grin and so did I. Savor these moments Paul, they grow up way too fast. I get a kick out of seeing the whole family out having fun with all the friends. Grins and good times!
If parts aren't fallin' off.., you're not rock crawlin' hard enough..
Except for a few hiccups, the Yota works like a beast, Little Gracie had the exact same smile Paul gets when he's behind the wheel. Awesome video and content Michelle!
Gracie: "I can't see!"
Paul: "Just go where the road is."
Yeah yeah, parents always have the best advice... 😂😂😂
Letting your kids drive is top shelf dad stuff!!!
Gracie did a wonderful job! Handled it like a pro. The smile on her face said it all! Really great seeing the family involved and having fun.
Absolutely love the digs you guy's give each other when get the chance. Good one Matt...
Banter ftw
Best buds busting balls!
That short piece of "Blue Danube" while Paul was working his way out of the Devils hot tube was perfect!
Thanks for the ride 👍🏻😁
That was great Landon is no doubt a natural but that smile on Gracie’s face was wonderful. Paul and Michelle have to be very proud. It won’t be long until little Grader gets his turn.
@George Vinson get her phone book like we use to use.
Smile on Gracie's face when she was driving was the best part of the entire video! 😁👍
Loved seeing Gracie get to drive!! That smile was priceless!
seeing that big smile on Gracie when you let her drive and the jabs from matt and rory is what made this 1 enjoyable 😸😸💗💗
Wow, I bet everyone was swallowing their heart when the fuel pump broke on Landon . It was nice seeing Gracie representing out there too. Good time had by all.
Great to see the kids being included, good parenting. Paul your day will come when you get to pull Matt😁😁😁😁
Hey Paul, my fuel pump came loose from the pickup as well out on the trail. After reattaching the pump I added some safety wire so it can’t slide off the pickup now.
Great video, love to see Gracie driving.
This video got me where it count's having a daughter myself I gotta say the joy on Gracie's face crawling th FJ was the best part ❤😉👍
Great trail repair you always remember these times. 20 years from now you will be in the shop talking and saying remember that time when we had to drop the tank to fix the fuel pump. FYI you should add a little more roll cage protection for the back seat passengers. Valuable cargo back there.
16:45 Gracie got mom’s laugh so cute seeing her drive poppa around👍👍👍
Good to see the kids having a go, those memories will last a lifetime
Landon is loving the Toyota & pretty good. Gracie was the best she had the BIGGEST SMILE & did good. Glad everyone had fun in MOAB . Michelle loved your choice of soundtrack on the video went perfect. THANKS FABRATS FOR PUTTING A SMILE ON MY FACE !.. My prayers are always with you , your family , & freinds.
I think Landon deserves a MORR tee shirt
18 minutes of pure fun; roadside/workshop repairs, scaring the daylights out of Michelle, snappy repartee with Matt and the awesome Gracie, doin' some wheelin', what's not to love??
A great day of family fun. Gracie driving the FJ was priceless! Don't blame the boy for breaking the FJ. You do it nice because you do it twice, you just installed that fuel pump right the second time but it was on the trail!
Love to see kids involved. This builds family memories that last forever.
Wednesday's drop, drought relief for the devoted. That Sunday to Wednesday wait is brutal.
yeah!
Yes it is 🤪🤣
Yes... Very brutal but worth the wait...!!!!
1 more video per week would be great and it would keep us from going insane waiting for Wednesday to come...!!!!!
@@novavroomvroom6809 well , some of us already are 😜😜😜🤣
Your daughter had one of the biggest smiles I have seen on your videos. She looks like a natural!
Thanks for the good times with kids and all, love the cooperation you guys show its a great community.the scenery and terrain are incredible! thanks for the peek at that great venue
Of course the tank is full . . . Your total acceptance of the bad scenarios you experience is very funny. The look on your face and dry humor delivers situation specific polished sarcasm as you surrender to the inevitable. . I love it.
Love how you get the entire family involved in your off-roading activities. Enjoy your videos.
Another great family video Paul. It makes my heart sing to see how your family works together. I learned to drive with my Dad’s “sand rail”, a VW Bug based buggy, out on the trails in Northern PA. He wasn’t quite as patient as you are, but I still managed just fine. My daughters have been eyeing my ‘72 Chevelle and I keep telling them they need to learn on something a little more forgiving first. Good luck and God Bless.
Way to go Gracie and everyone! So cool watching your kiddos wheeling and Michelle being brave. Keep it up and thanks again for sharing with us.
One of best episodes yet, a great trail repair.
Gracie is going to be a pro. She’s willing to learn. I love Paul and Matt together again laughing and teasing each other.
Missed Rory though. He may not talk much but his presence says it all. Paul and Matt’s family are awesome people.
👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️🌟🌟🌟🌟
Gracie is as cute as a bug! Love to see her driving
I'm truly convinced you guys live for the day that you can make a really difficult "field repair" with only pair of pliers and crescent wrench! Kudos for keeping it on the trail despite the set backs!
I love Gracie's ever-present grin. Looks like a great time was had by all.
You are giving your kids an unbeatable lesson in self confidence! Bravo mom and dad!
I bet you guys smelled great for the rest of the day after messing with that gasoline ⛽️ . Great job on the devils hot tub. That one is no joke and the camera doesn't do it justice!
Could have been diesel 😬
@@edwardgriffin8092 he’s saying diesel would be worse to have all over you than gas…
@@MortenBulskov Had my diesel additive come open on me once and spilled all over behind the rear seat. That was a total pain to get rid of that smell.
Bahahaha i bet you kept all the flammables away. Lol
Nice to see you letting the kids drive offroad and help them gain confidence. Great life lessons.
It makes me happy to see y’all have fun and fix then inevitable problems quickly
I don't even have kids and I just had a whole bunch of proud dad moments watching your kids drive. Awesome job Paul and Michelle, love the videos
Another CW McCall quote....
"You don't have to be crazy to drive this road, but it helps"
Echoing what other people are saying I love how you include your family and friends. From the kids filming and driving to grandma coming in with lunch. Your content is fantastic.
Gracie's turn behind the wheel and that big SMILE was the highlight! Awesome to see the whole family taking part of trail adventures. Keep on Keeping on!
A family that plays together, stays together, you have such a wonderful family.
The Yota is a trail beast!
Great cinematography and drone work!
This is my favorite movie of all time.
Watching Gracy drive the FJ.
that was AWESOME
The awesomeness of the FJ was just a little heavy this ride lol
Your kid's make the best camera person and to watch your daughter drive was the best part. I guarentee she's hooked just like your boy's. Good dad right there. For the people that complain about Gracie not wearing seatbelts paul and his wife definitely wouldn't put their kid's or anyone in the vicinity of their truck in danger. So keep your opinions to yourself.
The Shame Matt pulling Paul!!!
I am so happy watching this channel. I love that your family shares your love for crawling. It's is so refreshing to see a dad share something he loves with his kids. Please keep up the good work Paul and Michelle!
Surely theres no safety sallies watching this channel.. Let the girl have some winshield time!
Michelle! The music on the Devil's hut tub: AMAZING!!!
I truly enjoyed this episode. Not only because I am planning a EJS 2023 trip with my family but it just makes me smile watching others bond and have good times with there rotten kids. From what I gather you guys are doing a great job turning them rotten kids into awesome adults. Your not only passing down mechanical , fad skills. Your passing down raising a family skills. Them skills are the most important from my window. Thank you for the great entertainment and thank you for your time.
Love see'n the lil ones behind the wheel! Nothing builds character better than knowing you're trusted with a risky task. Great parenting guys!
Glad the locker was an easy fix Paul. Good job Landon piloting the Taco. 2 issues on the trail, BUT you could fix both to keep wheeling. That is awesome. Landon and Gracie both got seat time! That had to be so much fun in Moab!
i feel for Michelle. She looked so terrified and Paul's just driving along smiling. You know he wouldn't let nothing happen to you. You guys are awsome
I REALLY like it when Michelle is filming the offroading just for all the gasps and ah, ohhh. Makes it so much more entertaining ahhahahaah.
Don't let the people get to you. Giving the kids an easy go under full supervision is awesome. I am sure your mind never stopped thinking of how to keep her safe from all the what ifs...great video!!!
Gracie on the wheel! Yeah Gracie! Just awesome. I learned on a 3 on the tree GMC, no seatbelt….and here I am. Kudos to you all!
Loved seeing Gracy behind the wheel... She's already a great videographer and commentator. Great video
On a scale from 1 - Hell Yea!
How proud are you of your kids?
Shout out to trail matter for the kindness of opening the shop.
God bless him and all of them that helped you with the fuel pump issue.
If that ain’t what America was built on, then I don’t know what is.
And of course bless you and yours.
Great content in here.
Collin pulling Landon - epic passing of the torch. Gracie and Michelle are both looking forward to the Jeepster being ready for offroad adventures
Letting the kid drive love it.. best part of an awesome vid.. This is something that will be with her long after we’re gone.
That looked like fun. All you guys really get along great and have great family fun. Loved seeing Gracie drive, she’s a natural. All you parents should be proud of how you’re raising your kids. Nice family content. 👍👍
Having the kids take their turn behind the wheel driving the FJ. The things a dad does to have his kids have fun. . . including breaking the fuel pump. Gotta love it.
You had the best part miss Gracie! Mom didn’t look to happy. Also a great break em & fix em on the trail & at matters rescue shop!
Absolutely the best way for kids to learn how to drive is on trail. Kudos to y’all for allowing your kids to take the wheel and learn. Not just how to drive, but how to react to unexpected situations that may occur while driving. (Tip of the cap)
The best things about you guys are teamwork, friendship, knowledge, driving skills, and great wives.
Think the issue with the fuel pump falling off, needs brought up to the builder\ mechanic \ owner. 🤣 Paul you and Michelle are awesome parents teaching the kids how to wheel Moab. The smile on Gracie's face when she was driving was ear to ear, she was happy and loving the experience! This is why I love watching your video's your not fake and 100% laid back real people!
I like how you all get together to fix your problems and get everyone back on the road. I love how Paul is teaching his kids to drive. We have a 1 acre block in Medowie, NSW, Australia. My son started on our ride on mower then added a trailer and learnt to reverse. Then he moved to the car and box trailer. It wasn't long before he could reverse a trailer as good as me. I've been doing it with my dad's boats and caravan since I was a kid. He got a job at a transport company and started driving a big van with a trailer that took about 6 pallets. He got his truck licence and now he drives B-double trucks, semis and anything he is asked to. It is like Matt teaching Lizzy to weld.
Show her, let her have a go and teach and she is a fantastic welder that Matt now trusts to work on his biggest jobs. Good to know that MORR, Fab Rats and Robby Layton's (might have to wait a few years to get the kids on the tools) will continue for many years to come.
I liked seeing Paul teach his kids to rock crawl at such a young age. Just good family fun!!!
I really like this episode.... Its leaves no doubt that Paul loves his family... I gotta meet this guy.... WHAT A GREAT DAD !!!!
HELLO PAUL & MICHELLE GLAD YOU TOOK YOUR"E KIDS WITH YOU ALL ,GETTING THEM INVOLVED & HAVING FAMILY FUN B SAFE & BLESSED & HAVE A BLAST
It's amazing how Michelle managed to make the Blue Danube Waltz's crescendo coincide with Paul's eventual exit from the Devil's Hot Tub. Well done!
It's a breath of fresh air to see two parents take the time too teach there kids the outdoors can be fun 😊
👍110% Awesome Dad for letting the little ones wheel the rig 🤣 I remember my uncles letting me drive on the farms 😉
You guys have better mobile tools than I have in my workshop. Love how the kids all got a turn. Looks like my child hood in northern Ontario. Snowmobiling when we were knee high to a grasshopper, gocarting and running boats. Every time I watch these videos I can smell the fumes.
The music was a CLASSIC choice! 👌😂
And boy.. I wished I was Gracie when I was her age, fantastic watching her driving! 😎
That is so cool seeing the kids driving the trails and Gracie driving the FJ. Fun times for the family
My dad taught me to drive an automatic with 2 feet. One of the best lessons I ever learned! Go Gracie!
When the camera operator said wont you ever learn that kids break things, it reminded me of something my grandpa always used to say, "When you got kids that's all you got!" Good driving Landon!
The look on Matt's face when Paul said it took an hour for him to get a bolt in....priceless.
Looks like the roll bar doesn't do much for passengers in the back. I'm guessing they gotta get out before anything sketchy happens.
"You're doing fine, just go where the road is.." classic!!!!
I absolutely love the fact that you guys teach your children how to drive at a young age. Hat's off to you legend's.
The love and support Michelle shows Paul is second only to the love and support Paul shows his kids! And the obvious love and respect Matt shows HIS family, the entire extended wheeling community, as well as his hometown community, tops everything! This is great RUclips!
The family values between Fab Rats and Matts's off-road are great. The smile on Gracie's face was priceless! Landan great Job. Mom great Job. You can feel the proud Dad moment having the kids pilot the Yota. The world should take note of how you're raising your family. Great Job FabRats!! Keep up the great work!!
Paul I'm sure you already realize what a trooper Michelle is. My wife would have taken one look at those trails and been done. If there's a large bump in the road she wants to get out and walk around it. I love her though. Keep on having fun and thanks for the great videos!
Challenges like this are all part of the fun. Team of friends helping one another to overcome a problem.
In Tanzania I saw a Land Rover pickup fix the leaf springs with raw hippo hide. After it dried it lasted 2 weeks of off-roading and was still going when I left. That green hippo hide was over an inch thick.
