just got the x for 53 dollars on Amazon since the mini is still 50 as well. First mic I’ve ever owned that isn’t a gaming headset. Hyped to see how this beast runs with the Phillips 9500shp compared to my ancient astro a40s and newer blackshark v2 pros!
Nice! I just was looking at that Prime Day sale. That's a crazy good deal. I have the BlackShark V2 (not pro) and the Seiren X is a huge improvement over pretty much any headset mic. I think you'll like it.

Wow! Awesome video, very underrated.
Just bought a 2nd Siren Mini for Zoom use. The Razer Siren Mini is a really great all-in-one Zoom mic, because Zoom removes its shortcomings. Just keep it 6 to 12 inches away, and maybe set it up on a small box or something so it's closer to you (someone should sell an extension tube to bring it closer to the face off of the desk). That is its best use case. The sound profile of Zoom cuts off the whispy highs and 90% of the sibilance, making the Mini sound better. Zoom also removes the room noise from the Mini's less than stellar room noise rejection. If you are just looking for a really simple, yet good Zoom mic, get the Mini. For things like OBS recording... not so great. In that case, I recommend something a bit better. I disagree that a pop filter is required. I found I do not need a pop filter if I set the mic on a cheap boom armm with the mic at an angle.

I've had the Mini ($50) for approximately 30 days now. I was thinking that I might want to get the X instead ($70).
I am glad I checked this video out first. For a great budget mic, I'll stick with the Mini and just get a pop filter. Thanks for the review!

The Seiren Elite has a very noticeable white noise in the background. Don't know if certain headphones are picking it up.

Hey great video! Just ordered the Elite microphone! Just curious how do you apply the audacity backround profile?
In Audacity highlight the entire audio track. Then at the top go to effects > noise reduction. The default settings there are okay, but causes a bit too much warping imo, so you might have to tone it down a bit. I personally like OBS's RNNoise a bit better, but it doesn't remove quite as much feedback.
I think im gonna get the X since its on sale. But I want to know where to find something the make the microphone higher up to my face but its not an arm. My desk is thick and boom arms dont really work for it. Basically I want to know if there are just taller stands for them.
I haven't really looked into desk stands (yet) so I'm not sure. Anything with a 5/8th inch thread should be ok though.
I have the mini bouht 2 mojnths ago. But the price for X just dropped so big which is about 10$ more for a mini. Is it worth upgrading to X? I really wanted a mute button :(
If it's $50 or under, the Seiren X is a good upgrade. Any higher, then not really.
Also see if you can find a Samson Q2U for cheap. I think it's better than the Seiren X and it has a mute switch (really an off/on switch, but it works the same).
The mini ain't that bad tho. i would buy it for online classes and pair it with a nommo do you think its good pairing them together?
Yeah, I've used the Mini for Zoom a few times, it's good. Honestly, I don't have the Nommo (assuming the Razer speakers) so I can't speak on those specifically.

The Elite has a lot of noise. I’m watching from Airpods Max on max volume to see the difference and the Elite is too noisy while mini and X are quite good.
Idk if I should get the elite or X, can somebody just say one then I'll choose that one
X. Unless you know what you're doing already as far as post processing, the Elite is overkill $ in my opinion.
I can get the Sieren X for $80 instead of 100, maybe even cheaper. Should I get it instead of the mini
Yeah, $80 is pretty good. I think it's worth it over the Mini for that.

If you're comfortable/experienced adding filters to your mic I would get the Elite. Tone is great, limiter and high pass filter is great.
If you're not, get the Seiren X because it's super easy to use.

As long as you're ok with using a noise reduction filter, yes. Otherwise, I think the Samson Q2U is a better choice since it doesn't have the noise floor issue out the box.
