The way the songs went from upbeat but deep meanings to just absolutely mortifying (also painful) ones, but still a hint of that upbeat rhythm. The upbeat song in the middle too was like a sigh of relief before it turned to a Jack Stauber song, to Fly me to the moon, to a Kikuo song lol, like the Picture-perfect arc where everything seemed to be a sigh of relief until it became arguably one of the most painful arcs in TBHK, Fly me to the Moon was a nice touch too ! (at this point every arc is fcking painful) I like to interpret this as Hanako's very lively yet grim appearance in the beginning of the series before spiralling down to one of the most petrifying characters I've ever seen, yet he still kept up that 'happy-go-lucky' act either way I loovee this playlist smm

Obviously, it is a false belief, but the memories make it seem real. And although a lot of times it is traumatizing in itself, it is comforting to the person to be referred to as that character.

It is often coupled with memories, but not everyone experiences them. 9 times out of 10, those memories are at least somewhat canon-divergent, although it's different for everyone I'd recommend looking into psychosis and delusional attachments (irls) and fictionkins to help you figure out what fits best :]

I do recommend using capcut. I know that the videos will take up a lot of space but it's a bit easier to use than kinemaster. I mean it depends on the person but reading moodycheeto's comment with the timestamps, there is written that they can't get the hang of kinemaster. I personally think capcut is easier to use because I used kinemaster before. It's hard to work there
