This little nugget is some of the best guitar lovemaking ever committed to video. indulge me here, I'm thinking his time with Vai was tremendously worthwhile. It takes a truly great man to be so accomplished and recognized, then have the vision and humility to play a supporting role in the public eye in order to grow musically and deepen his relationship with the instrument. ??

TMac continues to impress me! I've got nearly all his solo albums and am just now getting in Planet X (picked up Clinophobia some months back) and I've got to say, there's no ceiling with this guy! I've never seen a guitarist as versatile as he is. He can do neoclassical, rock, jazz fusion or even progressive, and can sound completely different in every context! That's true skill. He makes me pick the guitar up and try again. sigh, if only I had 13 hrs a day to practice...
You should hear tony on the new cab cd, Theater De Marionettes: brutal, awesome, and explosive. The disc is classic cab but with lots of new sounds and ideas and other musicians and instruments.
just like gambale's stuff i guess .. and that makes Tony is REAL GUITAR PLAYER who could play almost any style of music .. damn .. i wish i could be like him
