I think you should call a repair service. Fixing everything by yourself would take a long time, but if a repair sim is doing the work, you can paint or do other things in the meantime.

A few suggestions: 1. Please use cam (If you feel comfortable...)!! Everyone wanted the cam in the first episode for this playthrough! 2. Use in lot traits Gnomes / Call the landlord in order to have the broken stuff fixed (Though the landlord sometimes slacks off) By the way, this play through is awesome ! I really like it!
if you're in a group conversation you can say goodbye to specific sims you don't want to talk to, but you'll still be in the conversation with the sim/s you don't say goodbye to. also it's sooo annoying when you're in a romantic conversation w/ one sim and another sim joins and makes it an "awkward conversation". like nobody asked you to come over here!

In the kitchen, the darker cabinet/bench top is brown, not black like you want. Could you change it to black so it matches?!
