The tech guru career is the best career money wise. Retails is also very good for money. If you get a high a painting skill and sell it at a shop at 100% mark-up while in the tech guru career you'd probably get rich quick. I think you should sell the penthouse and get a nicer one with the money you have. Have you put the lot traits on the house? If you haven't, the home studio lot trait would be really good. You could also make a club and buy the painting skill boost in the club perks with club perk points. Not hate, just some suggestions! :)
Hey Deli! I have quite a cool and unique idea for your home office. I've taken inspiration from Victoria Sweeney's office from Wolfblood season 3. She was the head of security at an organisation called Segolia. She had practically a whole floor of the colossal building for her office. It was one room with a white floor, white walls and a white ceiling (good thing sims ceilings are already white). There is no artwork and no furnishings whatsoever except for her glass desk in the centre of the room, her glass desk chair, a chair for someone else to sit on the other side of her desk and her high end computer. Just an idea that I thought would go really well with your sim life to show of how rich you will be

I think you can become a regular sim again by doing cas.fulleditmode then click on your sim and it should say something like reset plant sim. I haven't tried this so I'm not 100% sure if it works but maybe it might help
