I used to demo this in the music store I worked at and I must say that I sold a number of them. It’s a pedal that is difficult to describe….you have to hear it live to truly “get it”
That last riff! Is that a jam or does anyone recognize the song he's playing!? I picked this pedal up as a ambient, drone, industrial and shoegaze musician. I think it is for a certain type of market, proud of Boss for getting weird again. This pedal will be discontinued then in 15-20 years be a collector and prices sky rocket like usual.
I didn't even notice those bell bottoms - probably because they are so distressed and the entire outfit is so "busy." Looks like changing out the offensive flag would be an easy tailoring job. He seem so together in interviews, compassionate (he is even vegan), so we can hope that by now he has retired those pants or updated them.
ya they're covered with skulls but the confederate flag is offensive. right. lots of people including blacks grew up with that flag. frankly, i feature the flag of palestine on my monster truck 4x4 while i eat my fried chicken.
Get over it he probably just wears them cause he grew up on Skynyrd not because he's a white supremacist, your are here obviously bc you like his music so...do you agree with "burning the witches" because he wrote the guitar riff for that Rob Zombie song??? If you can't see this logic, you are a moron.
Who cares? There are so many real social issues going on in the world, a musician wearing pants inspired by that flag should be pretty low on the list. The real problem is that it triggers anger in you. The world isn’t fair, and people are free to do and say what they want as long as it’s not harming or calling for harm upon anyone. The real world is a hard and unforgiving place. People need to develop a deep and unshakeable resilience to protect themselves from the things they don’t like. Forcing others to mold themselves to how you want the world to be is a foolhardy endeavor, especially when using shaming or threats.
that Tera Echo spunds better when youre not trying to protect your 'tone'. it sounds great for space rock and synths IF you only push it more than most guitarrists will dare (tone w@nkers should steer well clear of this pedal).
i wish he wouldn't wear those confederate flag pants...steve stevens too...what exactly do they stand for, i wonder? i would hope that musicians would be fighting for human dignity, not displaying symbols of old-fashioned thinking.
do your researching instead of assuming something is not what you think it is. when you have done your due diligence in knowing everything there is to know about the confederate flag, then you can intelligently can make a decision about the meaning of the confederate flag
