Hearing Don Delciappo as the Whistler hit me like a bag of bricks cause he sound the same as he did in Gothic 1/2 playing Xardas (which would make sense as this came out between the two games).

I actually had this game. I was pretty astounded at the number of enemies it was able to put on screen at once. Although I remember the ones in my game being a bit more lively

yes and old games were built as complete packages meant to be enjoyed for ages.
Makes me miss when games were this violent and showed dismemberment instead of just entire body dropping no matter where you shot them

You know they're nearly dead because they have 16 compound fractures, an eyeball is hanging out, and you can see their skull on their forehead. If you miss attention to detail in violence/gore, DOOM Eternal did it best.

This game was fire. I remember buying it from EB Games and getting pissed at the club level. This was one of my favorite games. The dope flips you could do, the glaive, the guns. I loved this game so much.

The light grenades being included in the game is so awesome, I would replay the club level after you unlock the grenades just to clear out the big dance floor with one grenade 😂

Damn, Dunkey once again making me remember games from my childhood that I had completely forgotten about. I used to love the combat in this game even though it was so clunky lmao
A lot of old made for tv/movie games had this kind of thing going on. I remember the Xena game for PS One where you could throw the Chakram from the start of the level and kill every enemy one by one if you had the patience for it. The only exceptions were enemies triggered by proximity, which, in most cases, meant trigger them, back up, and start throwing.
To think that, of all the Marvel characters, Blade was the one to open the brand to mainstream Blockbuster cinema. Couldn't be a better opening.

I always liked the story of how the devs only had the license to use Wesley Snipe's likeliness on the cover, so the Blade character model in-game has extra facial/mustache to make him look less like Snipes.

A lot of people had misgivings about the latest AAA game releases, but Blade II proves that the industry is not ready to go down yet. Truly one of the games ever.
Every dunkey upload feels special on their own and are rewatchable. He might not upload daily or as often but its still something to look forward to
I legitimately think Dunkey is the most consistently entertaining content creator on RUclips.
He's pretty good. The Oneyplays guys also consistently put out good stuff, and Nakeyjakey when he's not self producing awful music nobody in their right mind would ever listen to

This is one of the only few games I remember from my young childhood. I knew it was special.

This and DMC were sooooo hard as a kid but in Blade I feel like a lot of difficulty is just weird controls and camera.

I remember being such a huge blade fan growing up that when I found out there was a blade 2 game I rented it and played it so much I hid it from my dad when it had to be returned… I made it about a week before he found it under my bed lol

This video was straight and to the point, like a blade.
The goofy boomerang is very similar in function to the Shuriken from Jet Force Gemini, including the features of locking onto and homing in on targets, and easily cheesing long rows of enemies that don't seem to want to move out of the way.
The JFG Shuriken had the added benefit of going through shields, making the already silly decapitations even funnier when they started happening to some of the most obnoxious enemies in the game.
