Rudolph thank you for this great informative video, i have learnt something new , from now on i will use both your cob baits you have showed us , thanks
For kob, you want a fixed line rig, the sinker line shorter than the hook leader line, sharp 6/0 inline J hook, relatively long hook line to lift the bait high up - from his other videos. Type of sinker would depend on roughness of sea, and/or whether there's a cross current and/or sandbank. Usually a heavy grapnel sinker for very rough water, a cone sinker for less rough water.
I'm sure your dad must be very proud that his bait is known around the world. It's an awesome looking bait and I can't wait to see it in action.
Thanks for sharing - Ive learnt a huge amount watching all of your videos - cant wait to give all the tips and tricks a try on the weekend.

What a bait
Great! Thanks for the upload. What size hook do you use with these Cob baits of yours?
He has mentioned using a 6/0 hook in other videos.
Hallo. Jammer dat we geen shokka hebben in Vlaanderen. Gaat het ook met andere soorten ? Groete.
Hallo Andre - tjokka is inkvis (inktvis) - ek is seker jy kan dit koop naby die Nederlandse see omgewing. Groete.
Please show the rig completely with the sinker so we know what kind of sinker to use thanks
