I kinda love how, out of all the other slugcats, Sain't chose to be merciful and/or trying to make someone see _their_ way with Monk. It makes sense to me since Monk is the only other slugcat to be "in-tune" with the world around them, as stated in the start screen for their campaign. Monk is the second closest slugcat to the cycle/max karma. It makes sense for Sain't to try and show them everything, to try and get _someone_ to understand.
Nah i feel like its more the fact saint thought he found apprentice, but monk rejected it after seeing that saint actions arent as good as he thought at the start, got scared and tried running away, saint got angry/disapointed and ascended him.
Saint could have taught monk to attune themself so they could finally escape the cycle they were stuck in. But they saw the horror in their actions through monk and decided that they would bear the burden alone.
Man that scene with moon crying over pebble's death broke my heart. Imagine seeing your friend die in front of your eyes and not being able to do anything, it must be so awful.

Whoever did the ending and gave Spearmaster that little ear tag that was so cute! That seems like I really neat concept that SRS would tag his creations so other itorators like FP wouldn’t kill them mistaking them for pests ❤

Im pretty sure this misses the whole point of iterators actually wanting to break the cycle and saint himself being stuck in it pretty much forced to ascend everyone because this is the only thing he can really do asides from just sitting around doing nothing. He is much like an iterator himself, atleast the part where he has to be the reluctant giver to the unknowing recipients.
