Christopher doesn't have to suggest having another baby because it's too soon since he and Lorelai just got married. Plus they already have Rory so they don't need another kid anyway

He is so self centered, he doesn't factor anyone else into HIS decisions, even if they affect everyone else around him. He just never grew up into a functioning adult.
