This is a tip for those who are having troubles with the golems spawning outside of your farm or now spawning at all. The farm was working in my world until a buddy started his own breeding hall close to it, this turn the farm into a huge village. Which caused iron golems to spawn outside of the farm, so if you have a village close to you or villagers nearby your farm you should move them or erase them lol. A way to tell is if you destroy the villagers that are close to your farm beds they should try to run for the bell. this helped fix my farm it might not be your problem but I'm trying to make it known for others.
Underrated comment
You're a lifesaver! Thank you!
I built mine up in the sky to avoid that problem, so if you want, build in the sky.
How far we talking here? like 400 blocks or more

After attempting and failing 6 iron farms this tutorial worked thank you man you earned a subscriber.
i found ur channel again after a phew months
i love the new videos keep up the amazing work! also do you know how to stack iron farms to double the efficiency??
This farm is good especially if your starting a new world. I haven't even got a starter base yet.
This farm is really worth building! I afk-ed for an hour and had six or so stacks of iron. I managed to do it in my survival world; so far, no hiccups in the farm, I did have one golem spawn in the villager chamber while I was breeding the villagers, but I took care of that. Also instead of putting leaves on the villager chamber, I used bottom half slabs as a failsafe, same with the additional leaves
I don't have any spawning at all wtf
@@tylerh6789 oof ..
question for the community! built this in my survival realm and had it working perfectly until lightning turned all the villagers to witches and a golem spawned inside (didn’t suffocate cause of leaves). fixed everything and got new villagers inside but swapped top leaves for slabs. while waiting for the villagers to age up I built a automatic farm 30ish blocks away with three villagers inside. the iron farm wasn’t working so I destroyed the automatic farm but still nothing. now a golem is spawning between my iron farm and a village 190 blocks away. should I kill the other villagers or totally rebuild?
@@zoeytheslayer1980 move the three villagers away from the 30 block area, if they’re too close to the farm, that might break the iron farm
Then break the bell and place it back so villagers re-link
This is for all the people having trouble making a MC Bedrock iron farm work: If you build an iron farm, you have to realize what you are doing is setting up a "logical village". If there are job blocks or beds within 96 blocks (I didn't double check this number, but I'm sure it's really close), you are going to do nothing more than make an existing logical village much larger than it already was. This leads to all sorts of problems: Golems spawning outside of the spawn chamber, Golems not spawning at all, villagers not linking to job blocks or beds, spawning only cats, and a host of other problems. Please take this into consideration: Build this farm at least 150 blocks away (to play it safe) from any other village/trading hall/villager breeder, etc. as it will save you a lot of heart ache later. This seems to be the number one thing people are having problems with. I highly recommend watching Silent's video on troubleshooting these farms. The URL is ruclips.net/video/LqgLu3grX40/видео.html. This farm works just fine in all Bedrock versions but know this: Bedrock is a little more wonkier at times than the JAVA version; you will run into the unusual spawn areas, etc.
Thank you Silent for making these farm videos and keep up the great content!
Genius
your a beast thank you for going in dept with it too
Update: After running this farm for a few days, I started having golems spawning on the leaves on top of the villager chamber and outside of the spawn chamber. The fix that worked for me was to replace all of the leaves on the villager chamber with slabs (I used mossy cobblestone, but I'm sure any would work). I also added an extra row of leaves to all four sides of the farm and since haven't had any trouble whatsoever. Good luck and happy building!
Could you huys help me please
Mine is not working
My quick fix for golems spawning in the villager chamber was to replace the 4 middle blocks with leaves(that still didn’t work), and then I also went into the chamber and placed 4 trap doors above those 4 middle blocks as well. Has worked like a charm! I also did replace the 3rd layer of leaves with slabs instead and then placed leaves on top of those so it didn’t look so bland. Hope this helps! Additionally, I made the second layer of the wall into glass instead, so the villagers can still see the town bell. Haven’t had any problems with villagers linking to their workstations as well as the beds. Thanks for the tutorial!
THIS FIXES ALL OF THE GOLEM SPAWNING IN THE CHAMBER ISSUES I HAVE SEEN. I have yet to have any golems spawn in there AT ALL. It seems to help the villagers path-find better as well.
You could also lower the leaves of one block so golems can't spawn in 2 block tall rooms
Thank for all the tutorials, your the best!

You know this one’s gonna work phenomenally when things start working before you even finish the build. Great work, you deserve more recognition!!!
I build mine differently every time when I see yours cause my friends call me “copycat” and I over do it with two stacks of beds and villagers lol. It was a pain but worth it. Your look better and I still built it in secret location 😂
Seen a lot of people give tips in case the golems keep getting stuck in the villager chamber. What worked for me was putting slabs over all the fletching tables and then slabs as a roof, leaving only a two block wide area for the villagers, and slabs as the floor stopping golem spawning in the room (with leaves on top of the roof slabs.)
Additionally, for path finding in the corner of the room facing the bell, I replaced 10 corner blocks with glass panes, and then put blocks underneath to keep baby villagers from escaping.
Took me hrs to figure out what was going wrong but this is working so far.
In Bedrock, this design can be done in a 5x5x9(deep) hole. You should never have golems spawn in with villagers as their space is only two blocks high so no block in their room is eligible to spawn one as they are three tall. The bell, in Bedrock, is entirely unnecessary as a "village" is defined as a villager linked to a bed and a work block. The center of that is the pillow of the bed. The center then shifts to the northwestern most POI block (either a work block OR if a bed is the most NW corner, the pillow to that bed). I didn't have to worry about direction. Maybe I got lucky. Golems were spawning on a different build I just did before I could complete and they were right there in the pit. Two tests pulled 196 in one hour, in a different hour it was low 200s.
Good asthetic build in creative for sure. Would go with way easier in survival.
Bro thanks so much it actually works❤❤
I'm too happy cuz in my entire minecraft journey I've never built an iron farm😅.
Thnx again love you bro❤
I have seen about 20 videos that have not worked, but this one worked, you earned a subscriber. Thanks!
Im gonna try this one!
Maybe a lightning rod near it so the leaves won't be destroyed by lightning and catch fire
I subscribed because this iron farm works really well so now i am going to look at other tutorials
Hey just curious. Does the bell make a difference?
Does this need to be on the surface or could it be the in a well lot cavern
Bro you are genius thank for your help.I can build my iron farm now
Fire video u always have the best bedrock farms thank you and keep up the amazing work❤
THX sooo much this so good
I made a villager breeder far away before I watched the video, got 20 villagers. Made the whole iron farm railed them over (pause), got them all in and working correctly, went to do the last step placing the lava and accidentally placed it on top of the outer signs and it burned all the villagers through the floor and had to breed another 20...
Bro railed them non consensual and killed them not looking good bro
This just happened to me. Lost my fortune 3 pickaxe and my elytra along with other tools as well. I’m so pissed 😢
I build mine on top of tower so the don't spawn weird. I also make a ring around it to do raids in the sky for fun. I tend to build it above a modest trading hall.
You should make a survival playlist.
Bro make a video about all buildable farms in overworld , nether , end
thanks dude it works perfectly fine but i was confused placing bell
One quick fix, golems can actually spawn inside the villager area with this setup, was wondering why mine did not work after awhile and that was why. to fix just make it out of half slabs instead of leaves
If the iron golems spawning with the villagers replace the inner leaf blocks with solid blocks and place slabs on top
I did that but I did leaves on top of the solid blocks instead of slabs. If that doesn’t work I will try this. thank you!!
I built this farm today and is working nicely. I did have to add the fourth ring of leaves around the farm though. Thanks for the video!
I’m having trouble. All the villagers are in there but no iron golems are spawning. I followed the instructions exactly but my bell doesn’t have a green thing over it. Is that needed?
@@joederusha9570 yes replace that bell
Bedrock?
Great build took me about 4.5 hours in survival and makes a shit ton of iron
I've been having issues with golem spawning with the villagers. To fix it, I just made it 4 blocks high and did a ceiling of solid blocks (at 3 blocks), then leaves for the 4th row
Mine only spawning cats bro
@@SliceGamingTv That's why you should put 10 cats in the afk area. It prevents the "village" to spawn more cats.
Did it work? I'm having the exact same problem even with a leaf room at the 3 block high roof
yes, use solid blocks for the roof and then cover it with leaves to prevent this problem @@Logs1919
Thankyou for advice I did what u said and now if they spawn with the villagers they suffocate to death 👍👍👍
Hey just a tip if it stops working, make sure you go back up and check the villager pen, make sure there’s no iron golems inside only two can spawn at a given time. I recommend removing the leaf blocks from the top and replacing them with bottom slabs, this way if golems do spawn up there it suffocates them. Hope this helps!
I noticed mine stopped working. Then I checked and had three golems in the villager pen. This is the first of three iron farms I’ve tried to work! This helped me fix the minor bugs
The slabs will disconnect the villagers from the bell, cuz slabs aren’t transparent, but leaf blocks are.
@@TheDoccMan I’ve made the space above the villagers 1.5 blocks and it seem to be working better. Before I was getting a stack or two before I had to go up and unalive the golems but now I’m at 4 stacks and still going. But if anything changes I’ll let you know
@@BlakezHerei made a comment of my own around this video’s comment section.
@BlakezHere I'm about to do the same thing. Any issues with yours so far?
For those experiencing problems with them spawning outside of the farm. Simply go from 4 blocks of leaves out from the farm to 6-8 and it works beautifully. And don't have the farm next to other farms, such as animal farms and it'll be fine. I left it on all night with my changes to it and woke up to 4,492 iron
This farm works amazing, I HIGHLY recommend building this in the air tho ( i built mine 100 blocks high) by doing this you avoid the golems from spawning anywhere else or other nearby villages/ caves from interfiering
how did you get the villagers up there?
@@SoccerIsLife599 nether portal
This is great! Just what I need to upgrade my survival world! Keep up the amazing work!
Stop the cap this cid came out 8 minutes ago you did not build it yet
@@WeslyBeamenBro chill he never said he built it, he said this is all I need to upgrade my world.
I know this farm doesn't yield crazy steel ingots per hour, but it's really easy to make and doesn't require a lot of mats. I think the hardest part is to put the first two villagers into the small chamber, rest is really really easy. I just finished mine after following this guide step by step, I made it around 60-70 blocks above ground and connected to a Nether portal so I could avoid unwanted golem spawns. Of course I placed leaf blocks on top of the portal
The insane good ones are Java ones I don't think those ones work on Bedrock (something to do with zombies not forcing villagers to spawn golems)
@@comedicpainIn bedrock you need a village and a gossiping villager to spawn a golem. Sadly they don't hire personal body guards when scared.
@@rykerstayton9577 how does the gossiping system work? I never really understood
For all bedrock players that farm stoped working basically kill of 18 villagers trap 2 break fletching tables and place back bread aging and replace bell this should work
Thanks 😅
What do you mean in the last part?
@@evanpowell3286 what do you mean
If the golems aren’t spawning place a few slabs in the air creating more surrounding surface blocks even tho they can’t spawn on them i thbk it may help spawn them in
I dont know if its me or i didnt follow something all the way thru but ended up switching leaves to slabs, added a zombie and expanded the Spawn proofing platform to make the farm work. Since i did all that my iron farm works pretty well
Zombies doesn't do anything in bedrock edition
iron golem spawn when there is and extra 5 to 10 beds
Doesnt even work in bedrock edition so ofcourse zombies don do anything. Barely anything works in bedrock.
Is it possible to replace the leaves by more slabs ? And build a house around it as long as it stands out of the leaves square ?
Thank you it works verry Good! For the people Who have trouble try to build it high in the sky so did I.
About how long dose it take for the iron volume to spawn thi
Why haven't my villagers passed breeding 16 of 20? Also, why do iron golems keep spawning in with the villagers? I kinda fixed it by putting some slabs inside with the villagers, but it breaks every once in a while.
I’ve found that in order to make an easy and scalable iron farm you should start with 15 villagers and 30 beds.
Each villager needs a work station. This farm yields 1 golem
To expand: increase your villager amount by 15. Once your beds and villagers are equal then you’ll have to double your beds before adding another 15 villagers if you want to keep upgrading
Small tip: if you want even more production, add more villagers. 1 additionall golem will spawn for each 10 villagers, if all of them have access to their job block, and have a bed.
note i had to add 2 more layers of leaves sometime the iron golems would spawn outside i didnt have any other villagers around but after i add the extra layers of leaves it worked great
Can you make an iron farm with trading hall?
My villagers arent able to breed, the hearts are still showing up but i think the blocks are blocking the beds
Thanks world perfect for my test world 🌎
This is the fist time I have try an Iron farm and this one works great!!! Highly recommend!
had iron golem spawning with the villagers I change the leaf roof to stones and now I’m having them occasionally spawn on top of their other than that it’s working pretty fucking great
i have that happening too, did that fix it?

@@Eli_k7328 use stone then leaves on top.
Hey, i’m having some trouble with the bell, they keep ‘breaking up?’ with the bell and then re-connecting with it, i don’t know if this is an issue or not. Any help would be appreciated!
Me too I need help, have you found a good solution?
yooooo this farm is awesome
Found out while buildings this midway that it could be a Cat spawner or a Iron Golem Farm :D
This farm is INSANE, I afk’d overnight and got A DOUBLE CHEST AND 2 ROWS of iron, just subbed as well…
me n my friend are having a hard time they keep spawning 40 blocks away on a roof
Farm works great! I built it in my survival world on stream. I don’t think the bell does anything tho I removed it and the farm still works fine.
is this works if you build it on the ocean?
If it doesnt work go up and break then replace all of the beds one at a time making sure each one sparks green meaning its linked with a villager. I had to flip some beds the other way round to make them actually link with a villager.
you saved me hours of rebuilding thank you
thank you! i'm glad i decided to come back to the comments and saw this. the farm had been working 100% fine until recently. i did notice that one of the beds didn't show the green sparkles after being placed, but changing the direction it was facing helped, oddly enough. all back to normal!
well, my farm is broken again after reloading my world. i guess this will just have to be something that i keep having to do fml
@@blackout3133 same thing happened here I just went and built a different model
The iron farm worked really good but there is a proplem not sure how to fix that and its that the golem sometimes spawns inside with the villagers and thats stops the golems from spawning
you figure out a way to fix that yet?
i just placed slabs right above the villagers heads or maybe regular blocks then slabs(leaves)
İs the villager place like roof 2 blocks tall
Just found this channel, the instructions are so easy to understand and don't waste any time describing exactly how to build it/ what you need. Subscribed, and ill be looking at your other tutorials
I appreciate the appreciation:)
Iron golem doesn't spawns but cat do. Why??
@N_M_S... One or more of your villagers is a nitwit, or they aren't linking to beds/workstations properly. Cats will spawn with like 3 villagers regardless of workstations, but Golems need specific requirements. I'd suggest another video that explains everything but it's by another RUclipsr. Honestly that farm is just as good though and allows for cat spawns and doesn't need you to loacte northwest or anything. But you'll have to find that yourself if you want it 😉

Thanks you for you video.
For the people who have iron golems spawning in the villager area,
Replace the leaves on top with bottom slabs. This makes it so that golems will suffocate if they spawn in there, and also iron golems won’t spawn on the roof either.
(The reason iron golems can spawn in there is because leaves count as transparent, letting iron golems spawn with their heads in the leaves)
You’re welcome.
Thanks bro this was happening to me 👍
I think if you tame 10 cats the rates will be a little better
Farm does work, ended up having to have the beds in with the villagers, and basically make that room bigger, made this in survival where my old farm was, over water and it dont work , went creative and made it over land and really good rates
Make sure to fill in your unlimited water source before breaking the surrounding blocks. We only had 1 dry block in the center and it was because those 4 water source blocks were hidden in all the other water.
Yo thanks bro
Do you have to use Fletching tables or could u use Smithing tables?
someone said on another comment, that any table would work. But there was this info added later, " Farmers, Fisherman, and Librarians won't work when it's raining. It isn't as efficient if you use barrels, composters, or lecterns for the work stations. "
Smithing tables are more expensive
(I think)
what if we are close to the village it won't work?
For better results build the farm in the ocean or at least a dozen blocks above it. It’s given me nearly 1 1/2 stacks of iron in 10 minutes of production. You don’t need leaves for the sides either. Just for the villagers
Jup building it in die air its no diffrent
I have one question: can you use other work blocks instead of fletching tables for example composters?.
Thanks for the great tutorial by the way ☺️
every work table works

So frustrating. I made a platform 18x18 and water logged all stairs yet the middle 2x2 blocks are in water
Is there anyway we can multiply it by adding more layers?
