In Nicolo Barella, Roberto Gagliardini, young defender Alessandro Bastoni, and Sensi, Conte has talented young Italian players - Gagliardini is the eldest at 25 - supported by experienced leaders like Godin, Asamoah, and Handanovic, while Martinez and Skriniar are also excelling. The summer acquisition of Lukaku already looks smart and the squad has enough depth to sustain the title challenge, especially in midfield. While Juventus in recent years have seen Lo Scudetto as theirs by right, Conte’s Inter will push them all the way this season and could well have enough to take the title.

He is an advocate for the 3 defense tactic. He won a league with Moses as a wing back. What I'm explaining is simply the mainstream society and fans of football only praise you if you win a champions league get it? Klopp for example was praised but only cemented is place after win in ucl. So calling someone stupid before asking why, makes you the stupid one isn't it mate?

4:11 that's the problem, as an Inter fan I don't think we have enough depth especially in midfield as seen against juve when Sensi got injured. Vecino and Gagliardini can be good subs when we need physical midfielders, but we also need a sub that can be used as a regista otherwise we are too dependent on Brozovic and Sensi, we still have Borja Valero but I don't know if Conte likes him and he definetely can't play a whole match. Other than this problem we are finally looking good.

The problem with Inter's title challenges the last couple of years was the second half of the season. Form and fitness levels dropped drastically with Mancini around February, and it could happen under Conte especially as he demands much more in terms of work rate. This video is pretty accurate, but there's a little mistake: if there is something Inter Milan is lacking is depth indeed.
The proof of that is in Inter - Juventus. Untill Sensi got injured, Inter was playing very well, but then was clear that Inter's bench is not at the same level of the Juventus' one, nor of the Inter's starters. Vecino isn't someone who can carry the ball like Sensi and Brozovic, and Bastoni is good, but not ready yet for these kinds of games, so Inter struggled a lot.

As an AC Milan fan I can only sit as stare in awe of how a simple change of manager albeit a world class one, can take a side trembling for a top 4 spot into a side challenging for th scudetto and looking well and truly on their way to being a world class side. Wish them then est of luck going forward this season.

Well, speaking of Inter, would you perhaps consider making a video on Slavia Prague? Their showings in European football have been quite incredible and it is amazing to see a team so much worse in technique do so well through, well, brave hearts and crazy stamina. That and Jindřich Trpišovský's tactics that actually aren't the "park the bus" one would expect.

Conte is a very Sir Alex type manager. His main and only objectives are usually always the league title. Hence, he tend to make teams who can do the marathon run required to win a league...as opposed to Knockout managers like Zidane, Mourinho, Tuchel or Emery.
Althought its subjective.. I tend to respect `marathon` managers as I believe wininng a league is way harder than winning the UCL or Europa.
People rate Zidane very high for winning 3 UCLs. but no one notices how his team massively underperformed in the La Liga, winning only 1 title .

    • @hashim4944
      @hashim4944 2 года назад +1

Zidane has won 2 La Liga in 5 seasons at Real Madrid and in his first season he came in January and Real Madrid was behind Barcelona by 10 points and he managed to close the gap to 1 point by the end of the Season. The only bad season Zidane had was Last season because he had 60+ injuries but somehow he managed to beat Liverpool and lost in Semifinals in UCL and he lost the league by 3 points and he was second place and that was the only season he had zero trophies. Zidane is a winner if you need trophies he is the best. what makes Zidane great is not his tactics but is the way he controls the dressing room and he is good at motivating players, every time Real Madrid had a tough game coming and everyone thought they will lose 100% Zidane somehow use to manage to prepare players mentally to win the game and to perform the best they can.

Long time ago I used to like 3-5-2, I believe that is the most flexible formation, but it requires a tremendous tactical discipline, and must be sustained during longer times, that (I believe) IS the real weakness of such approach. Not the players disposition itself, nor the talent of the players (that affects all formations equally), but the required discipline its outstanding.
For that reason in current times I'm more prone to formations like 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 been pragmatic has been the most successful in the last years.
The classic 4-4-2 it's out of conversation ;)

    • @juanestebankruhsanmguel1960

4-3-3 is the best formation only when the 3 attackers help in defensive things just like messi villa pedro or salah mane firmino, its not good when you have ego players in your Team like Msn or BBC

Great video as always. Would be one of my first choice replacements for Ole. A proven winner who isn’t a winner from the past. In 16/17 we saw one of the greatest premier league sides of all time. Getting 30 wins in the league and in 17/18 people say that Chelsea had a poor season. To an extent yes but if you told most teams that they will finish 5th in the league and win an FA Cup, they’d take it! Really hope to see them push Juventus all the way this year and I firmly believe that they will win the scudetto.

I think the midfield is our weaker area despite having 3 very good starting options (brozo-barella-sensi).
The subs aren't good enough; while gagliardini can be a valuable option if there is the need for a tall physical player, Vecino and Borja are such a downgrade from the starting 3. Our most critical role is the attacking midfielder: sensi is the only one that can play that role effectively and now that he's injured we are going to have a tough time scoring in the next few matches.
    Great video as usual.
