Outstanding! They don't call it the Dream Cruise for nothing. All those great rides filled with great Car Guys & Car Gals. Thanks for taking us along, Lou!
Mostly respectful and careful driving. There always is a few "dumbasses" who misbehave by doing stunts. Though few, that will eventually put an end to THIS. It happened locally, I would hate to see it occur HERE! It's just a thought 🤔.
Wow! What an extravaganza of vehicles of all shapes and sizes! There's something for everyone at the Woodward Dream Cruise! I saw a Corvair station wagon, a 1959 El Camino, a 1966 Dodge Charger, just to name a few!
Lou, I'll take the plum crazy challenger anytime.... but they are all cool.! Maybe even the 66 yellow charger, too. My brother had one in yellow way back then. Thanks Lou - great video. ! This reminds me of Pigeon Forge, Tennesee when they have an event like this.! Never know what you will see next. !
That was amazing! There was just about everything in the 'Cruise ...except an AMC Pacer 😄 So many incredible cars, and lots of memories seeing cars from 'way back when'. Thank you so much Lou! 👍
An impressive parade! The truth is that you can go crazy, not knowing where to start! There are so many that I would not finish, but I will cite the strangest ones, like the one at minute 5:40, the skull, 8:10, the wind up Bettle and, at 10:40, a kind of white hot rod that spewed flames from the exhausts! Best regards, Lou!
Hi Jaime, My wife asked "How was the Dream Cruise?" I said, "It's like standing at the end of the ping pong table with a paddle, and 200 ping pong balls came at you at the same time and you have no way to hit them all back" :-) Lou
Welcome to Woodward! I moved to Michigan 28 years ago and live about a mile off Woodward. Have you ever seen a wider range of special interest vehicles in a single afternoon? A unique mix that owes much of its character to its Motor City roots. The many generations of auto industry employees and their families, however close to or removed from this 100 plus year old industry love this unique event each year. I watch your videos on RUclips regularly and I hope you can make the motor city a destination more than just annually!
Hi Robert, My pleasure being there. There is a WIDE range for sure. Happy to read you watch the videos on the Channel regularly. I hope to be back again too, Lou
Now that is fun stuff .. so many classic beauties and modern beauties everywhere ... wow -- this is an American celebration, an automobile holiday celebrating American made cars parading everywhere - with hotdogs, burgers and ice cream 😊 one day of the year, a holiday celebrating American ingenuity ... 👍thanks Lou ... fun stuff
Thank you for this. I have gone to this event a few times in the last 25 years. the immense size of it all is impressive. its impossible to take it all in. I am sure you could dedicate another whole channel to Woodward Stories Home of the Big Three never disappoints.
Hi Jeff, You're welcome. Happy to save you a trip from WI to MI :-) "I am sure you could dedicate another whole channel to Woodward Stories" You're right! Lou
Lou a cornucopia of vehicles! It is one of the biggest natural car shows in the US. And it takes place in Detroit. Where the car industry started. To bad you couldn't have taken a detour and popped in to Windsor, Ontario to film my '59 Belair. Thanks for bringing this to your subscribers!
I need to go to Woodward one of these years. Definitely cool to see all kinds of classics cruisin' down the road together nonstop. That Beetle 8:10 with the wind-up key is my fav next to the custom flamer at 10:42. Then the GTO at 18:27 LOL! Great show Lou!
Hi Juan, Happy to read "America made the best cars in the world" :-) Good news! All the cars you like should be right here on this RUclips Channel, Lou

A bit like the Art Car parade in Houston with all the folks lining the route to watch the cars go by. The 300+ Art Cars go by a lot slower though. You should come down to cover that parade some time!
Great video, my sister told me about the dream cruise. It is an annual event, I think I may have to drive up to Detroit and experience it someday. I was going to criticize you on not pointing out more of the cars than you did until I realized there were too many going buy to get them all. Fantastic event and video!
Hi Daniel, My wife asked me "How was the Dream Cruise" and I shared "It's like you're at one end of the ping pong table and someone on the other side throws 200 ping pong balls at you and you're trying to hit them back :-) Lou
Hi Lou. Great video.....the one strange car that I didn't get, was the new ordinary family car with all the doors removed...Some people are just way out there.
Really cool. I said bricklin when you said bricklin. Anyways. I really like when hubnut and regular cars do car show walk throughs. May be an opportunity for you to do a Carlisle walk through here and there or some local Shows you visit???
Hi Retro Corner, "I said bricklin when you said bricklin" NICE! Hmmm, I've been to Carlisle many times, I think that is a good idea the "walk through", Lou
Lou, you should have stopped the white flaming throwing car. The owner is very affable and would loved to show it to you. Sh Boom is a flame throwing '51 Ford and is very well known in and around Detroit.
Larry there were A LOT of cars I would have liked to stop :-) That is a cool car for sure. Stay tuned there will be some coming up from the MI trip to share with you.
Birmingham, from where you were filming, used to be one of Woodward's most uppity suburbs. That chick jumping up and down to the left of you, attemting to goad participants into doing burnouts, is setting a positive calorie-burning example for the more out of shape of her gender. That VW Beetle-powered Fiat Multipla is sure to raise plenty of questions
I find the new Shamvette to be a sorry excuse for a Corvette - hideous from every angle - it forgot what it was as a car and why it existed. Ever since the putrid C7 that looked like a cheap Chinese knockoff of every other sports car put into a blender, I think GM has just forgotten its roots and is pretending to be a better company than its core can support. Its leadership is putrid and foolish and it has no designers in house that have working eye sight. And then I noticed how many putrid SUV's and CUV's infested that "cruise". What a remarkable and insidious transformation of car culture when so much time and money is wasted on vehicles of absolute no redeeming quality that are impossible to see through at stop lights or in traffic. I get their utilitarian excuse (which is rarely ever used). I loathe them to my core because they are just overweight and oversized hot messes on the road. Thanks for taking us there. I lament that automobiles are passe these days. Thanks to channels like yours, those of us who grew up when cars were supreme, we get to revisit those good times to avoid dealing with the hot mess of the vehicle handscape today. And that doesn't even go into the infestation of overpriced golf carts that are all the rage.
Well ultraviolet tp for all those cars of the past you and I enjoy, you're on the right RUclips Channel to see the ones you enjoy. Make sure to watch the commercials in full (unless you just can't) as that's how I get paid so I can keep sharing with you, Lou

Hi Mike, Happy to read "That was amazing!" :-) My pleasure sharing with you. You're welcome, Lou
You didn't see a Pacer? You must have turned your back for a moment ordering those sliders and fries!
You gotta say a total variety of rides. Some junk, some treasures. But all those folks appreciate their cars enough to keep ‘em running.
... And that's what makes this cruise so special.
There is definitely a variety of rides to see here and something for everyone.
Great Parade if Iron ! Thanks for posting Lou!
You're welcome Rudy :-)
My God! Lou, it's an ASMR style dream cruise video. Brilliant Lou!
My pleasure sharing the cars with you George.

I wondered how amazing would it be if normal traffic always looked like this, then I remember the gas prices
