As a mom of three I do not recommend piercing his ears before he is aware and can make a choice. Apart from the possibility of the pierce becoming infected😢 please don't pierce his ears😢

Piecing ears is a family tradition in my household im glad I got mine done as a 1yo at when the ear is still soft and so I don't remember it my younger sister's ears Closed up since she didn't wear earing and she wants them but is to scared to get them reopened and my youngest sister didn't get her done since my parents forgot now she is jealous we got ours done as a baby idk i really dont know anyone who hated their ears Pieced as a baby for it I didn't even know ear peircing as a baby was looked down upon it was lowkey a flex for me growing up 🤷🏾♀️

It’s their baby and they have absolutely all rights to pierce his ears or not and the baby when grown up he’s going to be so thankful and happy because they are such great parents. Im happy I’m Indian and I don’t have to explain such basic parenting rights to my Indian friends but I have to , to my Non indian friends 😊. Please respect them and leave them alone 🙏🤗

My mother’s parents didn’t pierce her ears and she still didn’t pierce them as adult. She has 4 girls and she didn’t pierce any of our ears. I chose to pierce my ears when I turned 16 years old, my youngest sister did the same but my other 2 sisters never did. I’m glad I got the chance to choose. So glad Naka and Dom decide to wait.

I' m mixed race like Gio but I'm the spitting image of my mom! I' m not a first born😂, I'm the third of four siblings! Best of like for your beautiful children family! I told my son( who’s now 15) that I had planned to pierce his ears when he was younger and he told me he was glad I didn’t because he would’ve hated it. There’s some decisions we have to let people make for themselves.
I agree. I’m not a fan of that for little boys. Older guys or teenagers when they can decide. And schools have rules as well.

I didn't until my daughter was older. She was 11 years old where she could take care of them. Herself, and we didn't have to change them or take care of them. I would just wait. That's my opinion. That's up to you what you do I mean, if you want your boy to have earrings, I don't know it's up to you guys. I think that's something he should make on his own. Love you guys

It's also possible he won't want his ears pierced. Art is an individual preference. I made my Daughter wait until she was 12 & I made sure that's what she wanted. And to this day she talks about going to the mall, picking out earrings. So I agree, wait. It's a right of passage kind of thing. haha I can see you are both really loving being parents. Love y’all’s family outings. I pierced two of my daughters’ ears when they were 2, but their holes closed. So we tried again when they got older. Our son, we pierced his when he reached 12 years old.
