Lovely playing. Great ensemble playing. I love Mendelssohn’s clarinet writing which bring off so beautifully! I was reminded of having an LP many years ago when the great Jack Brymer multitracked both Basset horn and clarinet, however the late Dame Thea King did that as well plus the piano part as she was a remarkable pianist too. I played this once on an Eb alto with a low C. Lots of fun, but there were a couple of runs that lie well in F but are really awkward when transposed (because the arpeggios no longer pass through an open G)

La plus belle version de cette musique, on remarque deux musicien au sommet de leur art et très complémentaires. Par moment on n'entend plus qui joue quelle partie, alors que ce n'est pas le même instrument. Bravo et continués à nous proposer d'autres vidéos.
