Your word, your dependability, your integrity, and your abilities in doing the right thing will set high standards for you and the people you surround yourself with.
You also require specific attainable goals and points of accomplishment, by day, by week, by month & by year.
I agree but some people have great visions others of us would not necessarily believe would be attainable...yet they find ways to accomplish what others wouldn't attempt! The "think big, outside the box" people! I would love to be one of them! But your right about goal setting and steps! Love his videos!

It is a nice feeling to be "the go to" person! It drives your behavior.
Its important to rely and trust yourself before anyone. And I also think it's important to only make promises that you can commit on. If you struggle start off small.

I have been watching your videos for 3 hours now and I have almost a half of composition notebook of notes.Thank you for confirming that I'm not selfish or crazy or any of these things that I have been called. Many of the things you have made videos about are things that I have been doing naturally. I have zero friends from my past because they didn't want to be shit in life and I require more.

Nope.... you will be surrounded by people who think they can use you.....
I used to do what I said I'd do. Now, I don't come thru as much. I can think of a lot of excuses, but the bottom line is, I need to get back to being that person who got it done. And not just got it done, but did it right and successfully. I'm wasting time planning a future of not doing things. As the months and years pass, it gets easier to not follow thru. It's not helping, but it does get comfortable. I don't want to be that guy. Especially since I already know who I was before. This video is really hitting home. The person I can't rely on is me. But, the person I will rely on is also me....with a different attitude.
I know for a fact that i'm not on any list at the moment. I'm diligently working to grow myself, and my word. I've broken it too many times in business and i'm personal life. It's a hard truth but i'm dealing with it and getting very clear on commitments that I make and not breaking my word. Thanks for the video
Patrick, I had the same discussion with my son yesterday. I know he has the talent to do really well, I believe that he will be successful and I keep preaching that he has to believe in himself and than prove it to us as his parents.

Awesome video! What I got was you want to be trusted and you want to have trust in others becauae that is what build great teams and you are able to do great thing with the team. So what I nees to do is make myself more trustworthy. For instance, right now im committing to waking up 5am everyday and Read, pray, meditate, plan and exercise. As i keep my word I am building my trustworthiness in turn it will start to show in my everyday
I keep my commitments. Where I am lacking is the timeframe for the task to get done, I take to long. Thats my place that needs the improvement. Thank you Patrick for your message.

Actions always speak louder than words. To be someone that others believe and believe in, you have to be a doer not just a godd talker.
As for the What Value I add, it can't be put into words. My Value is, sadly, a lot higher than my friends. Lately I've notice the ROI in my old friendships is not high enough, so I've been making some cuts. I hate to say it but you outgrow people.
In short, as for my value, I'm a transformer and amplifier, and whatever I work towards becomes successful in whatever that measure is. And I can see now I've wasted some time on certain projects with people that just don't deserve that attention and time. I make the list for those people, but they aren't making my list.

I am that person. And most of my friends are too. Took a decade to find a handful of reliable people.
Excellent video, more people should keep their word. I found out what it feels like to be counted on by many, then I became a loser and lost everyone's trust. It took along time but people can count on me and trust in me again.

When I was 17 I had an ex convict named Jimmy, who had spent over half his life behind bars starting when he was 17, tell me the most important thing that has resonated with me for the last 20 years. "You are only as good as the five people you hang around the most".. He explained to me that if you surround yourself with criminals you will most likely be a criminal, and vise versa if you want to be successful in life. This was not a successful business man but rather a broken person who had a lot of time to think about his own life and the choices he had made. He died a few months later running from the cops, handcuffed, when he fell into a river.

I had a small successful business for 20 years self employed, I loved what I did as Tailor designer, and very good at it. I had regular customers coming in different genders. It's not an excuse but I had phisical illness where I start doing gym. That helped my problems . But I had no idea that someone didn't want me to succeed, start plotting against me, I had poverfull anemies and been subject through organise crime, slanders, and harassment. by the person mention above, and her supporters. the reason envy and wanting to be me, or wanting control me. She worked with the police. I was in the hand of a very sick women, I know what you will say. I should have run away. moved, change my business. It took me a long time to get where I was, now I have to start all over again. I am in my late 60's still haven't lost my will to try other things, last 2 an half year I have been learning market trading, world events and markets, new stocks, & and smll/big companies read hundreds of subscriptions, I Fallowed Mr Trump as he knows the markets so well, meening his political desisions influenced the markets everyone gained from it. I have learned so much but, there is much more to learn. I have a vision of my status to become a millonair and I have set a target figure I want to reach since the beginning of my tuition. And I love the challenge, however I still have the shadows fallowing me arround, this is real not a dream. That is one of the other reason I want to be strong financially to be able to protect my family and me. So I find difficult to trust anyone. I must do everything on my own I feel more at peace that way.

What life in this world is all about, at least in relation to living in a productive Community, in a 'civil' society that WORKS, that provides for the needs for all its citizens! Words mean something and talk is cheap. It is getting much worse out there as people rarely mean what they say and follow up. Many companies don't even know what's going on with there people. I see it all the time and business isn't getting done because of it.
