As with a lot of people in the comment section, the way you made corrugated steel with the aluminum tape and screw just 😲🤯 I can't wait to try it! This looks amazing. Thanks for showing us!
Oh I’m back in my happy place!!! So pleased the creative juices are flowing as opposed to mouth frothing!!! I’ve got to say that the bolt threads on the aluminium tape is an absolutely mind buggeringly awesome hack that is so simple it almost hurts!! My hat is not only off to you, but flung !!❤
Poor zombies, waiting for a bus that will never come. Absolutely incredible work. Can’t believe you did this in 10 minutes. I actually said “whoa” out loud when you revealed the shadow layer of “Ghost”. Fantastic graffiti. You’ve inspired me.. to refill my windshield washer fluid. Thanks!
This is a great blast from the past style of video that first attracted me to your channel. I absolutely love the shift to the extended railroad project (which is new hobby subject for me) but it's equally fun to get back to some sinister synth stuff, sir 💀
Excellent build! (Viewing this one in Australia. Noticeably more graffiti here than last time I visited.) Great roof and wall colors/textures. Really liked the detailed build montage, esp using the calipers to perfectly cut the garage doors to size. Cheers! Steven
Great looking model, good to see some zombies again. Once bitten, hard to shake off. Come to think of it....I don't think you said exactly what bit you....💀 Eeeeee zombie? Hahahah . Always good to see you Denny. Cheers
A truly diabolical garage to be welcomed into the Reborn Dystopia! Well done as always, Denny! I'm also glad you're doing well after that critter bit you!
I added the Ashburton AT-ST to my Ashburton-style shunting layout last week (why not, eh?), to go with my dilapidated mill and radiation leak. My efforts are fairly shoddy in comparison, but it's a fun escape.
Like all the work you do, this is amazing! One bit of a recommendation would be to add a small caption on screen somewhere stating what kind of paint or what grit of sandpaper you're using. I was curious of a few of those when watching. Either way, I can't wait for the next!
I've added those details in the past - and you're right - they're helpful. It ads another layer of effort and I had set a deadline for the video release. I'll certainly consider it next time
Nicely done! Loving the 'surgery' sequence to turn the lil dudes into zombies :D Does anyone know the significance of the "YONK" grafitti? I saw it in this vid, and I've seen it in my neighbourhood (a whole continent away, and much less artfully presented!) - it must mean something to someone?! What this dystopia really needs now is... a pack of feral, rabid hounds! (Too soon? I like my humour dark and dry, so apologies if I overstepped with that one!). Great dystopian stuff, as always, cheers!
Oh man, that finished building looks amazing. I was looking for a way to make corrugated iron, but I would never have had the idea to use some sort of aluminium tape and a screw! This even allows to change the scale of the corrugation. Also using that thin paper on a tiny model car to make it look like the car is under some sort of tarp is a really cool idea. I have to try both of these out! And of course, staples of the channel such as the broken windows and the grafitti make an appearance. Love it!
Thanks - The aluminum tape is really forgiving, and the best part is that it's self adhesive. The only caution is that paint doesn't stick that well to it.
@@NScaleDystopia I think there are special primers like "Mr Metal", I know they stick well to photo-edged brass, but I don't know if they work well with aluminium... I guess I'll find out sooner or later.
Not that I have any on my layout yet.. I think I might have a very small hut I need to build near the signal box that has corrugated metal roof. I've been thinking of how I will do it... I know for OO/HO you can get kits to do it.. but your bolt threads on the aluminium tape!! I like.. I think I might just do that!! Also, what is the tape you put over the car to create the tarp effect? Craig.
Oh @NScaleDystopia , what have you done?!? I should be working on the benchwork of my layout. That is, I should be figuring out how to design segment joints with electrical conductors and perfect alignment on styrofoam boards - so that I can build a layout in an Ikea bookshelf. The segments have to be build outside of the shelf and then joined - and they need to be removable, as we will probably move in the mid-term. Not an easy task! But instead of probing designs an dbuilding prototypes, I now feel the urge to build a Cyberpunk/Shadowrun-inspired diorama. Oh well...
@@NScaleDystopia thank you for your answer. would you mind explaining how you did this? i got myself a laser cutter and iam thinking of laser cutting some stencils. maybe you could share your process or materials you use? (oh iam writhing from my modelrailroad account, sorry for the confusion)
I love the fact that you put some fiction in your work again.

Love the rust effects on the roof
Irrespective of the sinister look it looks absolutely fantastic as a rundown warehouse! Great job! Happy modelling. Hans…
Another awesomely eerie building!
I love how that turned out!

Absolutely love this and can't wait to see more
Great take on the kit
That Dawn Of The Dead theme is pretty sweet.... I want to add a cemetary coming alive to my layout.
Simply outstanding modeling!
I'm happy to see that your distopic side is...well..."undead"!
2:30 YOU JUST BLEW MY MIND with that way of creating corrugated steel.
So easy - so cheap! (And self sticking!)
@@NScaleDystopia Ive been trying to figure out how to make it for this scale for months. Thanks for sharing.
I always pick something up from your builds that I need to try. That bolt trick looks awesome!
Thanks man!

The undead have always had a place on the layout - the layout just needed to more corners to hide in...
This is really good! Love it! Thanks for sharing 😊 👍
Outstanding transformation

Who says I'm doing well?! Bwahahahahah
YOOO HOLY SHIT THE WAY YOU MAKE CORRUGATED METAL WITH THE BOLT LITERALLY MADE ME SAY "OH MY GOD" OUT LOUD 🤯
I dig the Karl Casey for the work tunes. Cool build!
Thank you so much I have missed the eary music and zombies for so long and I'm so happy to see them returning

this video helped me get my mind off of my art block. thank you!
that graffiti omg that is some next level stuff right there
Great job
Wow lovely diorama. That gives me some serious inspiration for my miniworlds
Awesome - thanks!

The zombies should use the junk in the yard to escape over the fence.
Zombies, in my experience, aren't that smart...
@@NScaleDystopia lucky for the rest of the inhabitants of your city
What effect does windshield de-icer fluid do for the paint or airbrush?
I have found that its a good thinning agent - the paint dries quicker and applies quite evenly. It 'elevates' cheap craft store paint.

Nice! This turned out great. Reminds me of something you'd see in 7 Days to Die XD
So cool! I don’t think I’ll be shopping there lol. So what is with the windshield washer fluid???? Never heard of that before.
The washer fluid seems to work well as a paint thinner - who knew?!
Amazing, as always, but shouldn't the windows have been added before the graffiti?
Yah.... I realized that after I was done
great build 👌🔥
question about the graffitis. have you lasercutet those?
Yes - I did a graffiti tower a few months ago - 60+ different stencils. Laser cutting was the only sane way to approach the project.

Great video! Was that HVAC metal duct tape you used for the metal roofing? Also, what size bolt did you use to make the grooves?
Yes - aluminum tape. As for the bold - I'm not sure what size it is - I dug around in a can of leftover bots and that one 'looked right'
I think i've stopped here before
I would totally set up there on project zomboid
Mini graffiti stencils….nice.
