- This really bad Alice adaptation was produced by the infamous Brazilian company Video Brinquedo. I don't really recommend watching it.
Most places online claim that this adaptation dates from 2011. Unfortunately, we've been unable to find a source to confirm that. If anyone has more information, please let us know!

Fun fact, this was the final VB film ever made since they were pissing money at this point. They closed down for good a year later.

But what about Cinematronics? That's probably the worst of them all.
There better versions of alice and wonderland than this.
Trust me, I'm not big into Tim Burton's version (which this rips off), but it's far better than this atrocity.

Long ago, when I was a wee child, I had a very serious, incurable disease. I was certain that my life was coming to a close. But then, this movie came on. After watching this MASTERFUL WORK OF ART, I leaped out of bed and I was cured! I ran away from the hospital and the president of the United States was waiting for me in a helicopter! I grew wings and I flew into the air. I got a husband and I had 4 billion kids! I sprinted down the road and got ran over by a car, but I survived! I’m sitting here in the hospital once again, for I am now a 2,000 year old lady. This movie saved my life and I am so thankful for the studio behind this masterpiece. I shall rate this a 1000000000000000/10. I could not recommend more. This movie could cure cancer.

Are you sure this is 2009? The Hatter, with his pale skin and orange hair, is clearly a ripoff of Tim Burton's Mad Hatter, but that film came out in 2010. According to Wikipedia, promotional images of Depp's Hatter were first released in June 2009, so I suppose it's possible Video Brinquedo saw the images and quickly rushed out this piece of garbage just to say they did it first, but still, even by low-to-no-budget animation pieces go, that seems somewhat unlikely.
I reviewed this atrocity myself and, according to my research, it is from 2011. The "influence" from Tim Burton's is blatant, so, either Video Brinquedo rushed to plagiarize Disney's conceptual art in 2009 as you suggest, or it is actually from 2011.
Either way the movie is terrible.

It's my bad. I had it marked as 2009 on my old list but I don't remember where I got that from and I hadn't re-examined it since. So your comment has started us on a new research trail. Problem with the 2011 date is that there doesn't appear to be a definite citation for that either. But we agree with you that the 2009 date doesn't make sense. We'll make a title change soon.
If anyone's interested, we found out that this Alice had merch in the forms of a puzzle and dominoes. That there's a DVD release of it with a making-of feature. And we stumbled across two new Alices while trying to find this one's year.

@@criminallyautistic8372 Fun fact, most of the Video Brinquedo English dubs were done by 4Kids. Arguably thier worst movie, What's Up? Balloon To The Rescue, has Mike Pollock (the guy currently voicing Eggman) and Sonic from Sonic X as the fat and lanky scientists respectively.

This version of Alice In Wonderland really sucks. Everything feels too rushed, and the animation is so lazy. Hell, I could animate better than that.
