- Can you believe this was actually sold on Blu-ray? In physical stores? I spent money on this... the things I do in the name of collecting...
The audio is actually a 1948 radio drama. Cinematronics (no relation to the video game company) combined this with some of the absolute worst animation I've ever seen to produce this monstrosity. Then they seemingly disappeared, never producing another film as far as I can tell. Развлечения
This actually gave me a major self-esteem boost. No matter how poor I think my animations are, they can never be as awful as this.
This is the most magnificent thing I've seen in a long time. This puts the Prince of Egypt, Spirited Away, Ratatouille, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to shame. I have never seen a movie with such high-grade animation, top-notch voice acting, and a story so high quality. I was emotionally moved by this motion picture. This will surely go down in history as a heartfelt classic that the whole family can enjoy. How this didn't win an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film is beyond me.
@Phoenix Flames What sarcasm?
good ol' sarcasm; love it!
This makes Rapsittie Street Kids look like Toy Story.
Es gracioso porque es cierto
this makes rapsittie street kids look like moana
For my opinion, it's still worse but this forgettable movie is very close to the badness of that movie
This makes Dingo Pictures look like Studio Ghibli.
This isn't just one of the worst animated movies, it's among the worst cartoons of all time. This adaptation of the disney movie is like twelve oz mouse the movie
This was essentially made to cash in on the then released live-action adaptation of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. They acquired the audio to an old radio play and hastily got together some cheap animation and assets to play it over, then sold it on DVD probably around the time the live action one made the rounds on home media.
As if someone was $tÜp¡D enough to confuse live action with animation that's on the same level as a 5 year old's drawing.
On the Amazon listing for the dvd, It tries to claim Tim Burton is the director of this animated version too lol.
I rather watch this than that Tim Burton trash
@@criminallyautistic8372 You're kidding, right? I personally would rather watch Tim Burton's version again! At least we can look at that without our eyes bleeding!
@@artbytesia I honestly don't believe this animation is as offensive as people make it out to be. I mean it's still a nice rendition of the radio drama. And yeah the Burton film is visually nice but the script is horrible and completely sharts on Lewis Carroll's grave at least this film is actually faithful to the book. But you and I shall agree to disagree.
Jesus, this makes The Slim Shady Show look like a masterpiece.
don’t ever bring up that monstrosity, EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE RIGHT
I’d expect this from some amateur RUclips channel, not a dvd sold off the shelves!
Even the opening credits manage to look horrendous!
Bruh Greeny Phatom had more tolerable designs than this. Like it was actually quite cheesy & charming, meanwhile this is just a poor quality animated version of an already terrible 1948 radio play.
Yeah, really! I mean, I recently made a 2 minute 30 second stop-motion short with better quality and animation, and it was made in my own house by fewer people!
And I'm still complaining about that stupid doorknob from the 1951 version...
This feels like a fever dream

That's what Alice in wonderland is

Dead eyes
Hey Arnold/Stewie Griffin lookin ass
In a better art style, some of these character designs could be something.
...the Duchess concerns me, though. Something about her design choices feels mean-spirited.
It's way too r@ci$t today even for using the N-word in 1948
I cant believe they sold this at stores. WHY?!?!
I don’t know about PHYSICAL stores, but you can buy it on Amazon.
This was to cash in on the 2010 live action Alice in Wonderland film out at the time
@@Channeleven2345789 Actually, this was released some time before Tim Burton's version.
@@artbytesia well they probably heard about it or saw the trailer and went YUP
@@Taylors_version_from_the_vault Perhaps. Good point.
This version of Alice is the villain in the creepypasta "Ms paint Alice in wonderland" if you may know
Even without the "animation" the radio play is pretty meh. And Dinah Shore's voice does not fit Alice at all.
This alice is really something else..very perculiar...vvery tsja hmmm different .it makes me lmao..
Also Elmer Fudd's voice does not fit the rabbit for reasons I don't have to explain.
5:18 The fact that Dinah is just a PNG of a cat with a painted-on tongue just makes it funnier
That just oozes laziness, does it not?
I think we found the actual 12 Oz Mouse season 3
lol
Funny enough even though the animation is not all that good, Alice’s voice actress is amazing
RIP Dinah Shore.
@Carry the Lucumber oh that explains it
the only good thing about this is that it brought to public knowledge a forgotten radio play
Not a bad radio play either.
I watched this film and I got a phone call saying I'll die in seven days...
I hope you're still alive
this is the real reason why Adobe Flash is no longer supported
Yeah, and it's sad because flash made lots of good stuff.
@@richardadamson1438 Yeah, like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Flash would have done a better job than this. You can tell from the way the characters move that it was animated in After Effects, which is a great piece of software, but *totally* the wrong thing for producing a full-length animation like this.
When the audio is literally the full 1948 radio play with zero changes whatsoever, you know just how much of a cheap cash-grab it was. To think there were people who saw the cover and fell for this scam hook, line and sinker.
a group of people should get together and make a reanimated version of this
also it always sounds weird to me when alice characters have american accents
This is why Walt Disney picked a young British girl to play her
Hey Arnold! In Wonderland
ah yes the version that REALLY REALLY SHOULD NOT EXIST
I agree
Why the clouds looked like COVID 19?
Forgive me for my lack of culture, but i tought this was only a creepypasta, can't believe this exists.
I’m getting “12 Oz mouse” Vibes

I also reviewed this one and it is absolutely the worst thing ever.
Is it bad that I kinda want this "movie" to get the reanimated collab treatment?
Absolutely not. Seeing something as horrendous as this gives people an opportunity to make something good out of it!
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!? This is something from a kids drawing on Microsoft, it looks horrendous and why do I hear Alice’s voice sounding like Shelley Duvall?
I've seen some bad animations. but this one takes the cake
And said cake makes you shrink...in horror and shame, at least.
This is the 11th level of Hell! Holy shit! Lewis Carroll must be rolling in his grave!
This looks like it would scare me as a child
The only logical response to this movie is violent thrashing and screaming.
Ooh, this was talked about on Creepypasta stuff!
So no one is going to talk about how the Chef called the Duchess "Mom"
So this is what
Alice In Wonderland

The version we never needed…
The only saving grace this film has is they animated the playing cards at least pretty decently. 1.5 stars max out of 5, if that
IMO, the saving grace is the radio play they used. It's good for what it is.
Fun fact: this film's audio was taken from a 1948 radio drama.
All the budget pretty much went to acquiring the audio.
The Audio's been freely available for decades. There just was no budget period.
@@DisplayThisOkay Yeah definitely, but there's an unfortunately likely chance that the "animators" were paid $100 for making it.
@@ExtremeWreck probably subtract the two zeroes.
@@richardadamson1438 Nah that would be generous.
I got an ad for this. Came to see if it looked as bad as the cover. It labels this on amazon as "cutting edge animation created in 2010" lol. I'm worrying about timing and spacing in my animation and this comes along and gives no shits. Great self esteem booster.
What the heck is this supposed to be? Looks like something done by an animation studio with no experience
Not an animation studio I'd say, but rather one single person with an age no older than 6.
@@elchanchopato9601 Actually, it was made by eight people. Grown adult people, at that.
Listening to the audio was pretty nice. I just imagined what was going on in my head and ignored the screen.
The radio play itself is available on RUclips.
When Double Rainboom, a 30-MINUTE video made by COLLEGE STUDENTS, has better animation than a 50-minute movie made by a company with ADULT EMPLOYEES, you have problems!
Cinematronics: Want some sheeeeit....?
Dingo Pictures: *start telling!*
SpongeBob fish: Boo! You stink!
This makes see The Little Panda fighter like a masterpiece💀
Like a horrible dream, which is weird since the original Alice in Wonderland is almost like a horrible dream...except the original book has Magnificent drawings and amazing satire
With the 1951 Disney version, it must've been a horrible dream.
@@artbytesia
The 1939 version was going to certainly be one.
HELL IS REAL.
Wow, I thought Dingo Pictures was the worst 2D animation, but this beats it
You know the Griffin looks more like what I'd think a kid's drawing of the Jabberwocky would look like.
Did the person barely animating this know what griffin is?
The Mock Turtle is also weird
He's half monkey and half turtle instead of the normal half bull half sea turtle
This is............How the f*** do I explain this cursed.....thing?
It was so cursed it killed the animation studio that made it after 1 movie.
i'm...
speechless
not in a good way either
That website they show during the end credits is such a weird little thing to poke around in.
Of note is a fun facts tab that contains the following:
"The three principle artist who worked on the film were left handed.
Though primarily a digital work, over 550 sheets of paper were used
for story-boarding, character design, note keeping and scripting purposes.
In it’s digital form, the final film was constructed of over 8,000
digital files and 1450 Gigabytes of high definition video.
Director Mike Conroy did not cut his hair or shave in the three
and a half months it took to animate the movie and coincidentally
looked like something from the Jabberwocky.
Director Mike Conroy moved his primary computers from his studio to
his home so he could work longer days to complete this work.
Lewis Carroll’s real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson.
We estimate over 50 gallons of coffee, 70 gallons of water and 200
sandwiches were consumed during production.
Artist Jacob Farrell spent at least 22 hours singing “Will You
Won’t You”, in the shower, at home, in the office and while driving his
car."
This makes Rapsittie Street Kids look like a Pixar movie
I watched this as a kid 💀
This is the worst cartoon ever that i've ever made in MS Paint and Newgrounds, shit.
You didn't work on this movie
I genuinely feel uneasy looking at the faces of the human characters. They just look… wrong…
so they dug up an old radio play

The sad part is that they were also responsible for Dragon's Lair.

why....
You know, sometimes I worry that my animation or my backgrounds look bad, and then I see that stuff like this was made by people older and with more experience than me, and I feel a _lot_ better.
This touched and tapped into the very fiber of my being, it is the reason why we live. It gives us purpose, and reason behind a shadow of a doubt, why we must continue living. This is a gift from God.
I'm inviting my friends for a movie night! This one first, then ratatoing...
How the freak is this a movie This looks like a old RUclips video😭
I can't believe that I wasted 57 mins of my life watching this fever dream.
Lord, help us ALL.
i need to know more about the origins of this movie, how it was made, who the heck was Cinematronics, and why this movie was made.
The whole thing is just a quick cash grab designed to follow Tim Burton's much better version from the same year, 2010. It wouldn't be much better if you threw the 1951 version's voices (Kathryn Beaumont, Ed Wynn, Sterling Holloway, etc.) into this f%cking mess...
This movie was probably made by a very old person who remembers the radio show, hired stackhousekids1 to draw it, and forced some poor shmuck to release it on blu ray.
This is cursed
Damn right it is
I like it for the radio play part. Don't know what makes it so infamous. Yeah the animation is absolute crap but I wouldn't have thought it is worthy of a creepypasta or a review.
This thing was sold on the shelves for fifteen dollars. Considering that it’s a radio drama from the forties being played over some of the absolute worst animation ever made, asking fifteen dollars for this is insultingly high.
@@ivancorredera4241 The makers must have been pretty greedy.
There is no doubt that this thing has THE WORST animation I’ve ever seen in my life!! No other animation is on the same level of bad as this maybe besides 12 ounce mouse on adult swim and that animation is surprisingly better than this by comparison. It looks like the creators were making an art gallery for the under 6’s or it was made by a kid under 6 who did a project for art class. I hate the animation, I hate the acting, I hate how they classic reused plot AND I JUST HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!! This is definitely is one of the or maybe is the WORST cartoon I’ve ever seen. Who else agrees?
"Rapsittie Street Kids" is also up there, though.
I don't know which is worse, this bull crap or Rapsittie Street Kids. Good God, what a Wonderland Hell!
It's pretty stinking bad, all right.

I don't even want to know who even animated this...
Michael Conroy, the director. Some other dude turned pencil scans of the characters into animatable colored files to give to Conroy to animate.
A drug addict that they found in an alley
@@MykezStylez No, it was Michael Conroy and some guy who turned pencil scans into animatable files.
This has got to be the worst animated film I've ever watched. The character designs and animation are hideous (and the Duchess' design is downright racist) and what's with the 1948 audio in a 2010 movie? Even the garbage from Video Brinquedo and Dingo Pictures at least had real voice acting!
The only redeeming quality is that the plot is more faithful to the book than Disney's movie is (the Duchess, Gryphon, and Mock Turtle appear, no Tweedledum and Tweedledee (who were from the second book), the Wonderlandians don't chase Alice at the end).
Yeah, I hate how mean-spirited Disney's version is. Plus, it has rather rancid morals.
I like how they're roasting each other during the tea time with their greatest snarky comebacks lmao
I thought this like came from a RUclips channel not an actual movie
Not gonna lie, as terrible as this is, it's still better than that... THING we call the Video Brinquedo version, albeit only because this one is at least... UNIQUE in its ugliness instead of being generically ugly.
