    I advocate for men often on this channel, for all the young men out there this guy did one thing right, he owned his behavior. Normally there is some caveat some reason etc, not here. That's the only thing he did right. First, do not get married. Second do not treat women poorly, they don't deserve it. If you are unhappy, find someone else. Third and most importantly he lied and betrayed her. This is the most important because it reveals horrible character. If you chose to become legally bound to another person through marriage you owe them transparency, honesty and integrity. If you can't deliver that then don't get married. You should of course expect all of that in return as well but remember you do not have to be married to have a successful long term relationship with a woman.

      Getting rich off pokemon? It’s possible but it’s very speculative. The day trading equivalent of trading cards is buying and flipping. Buying and holding the investment as 5% of your total portfolio and holding for profit is completely viable. Pokemon has over a 25 year history of growth and magic even longer. If you are wise and take it slow and play the long game it’s completely viable. Just be smart and don’t go heavy on it and it’s also a fun hobby to enjoy if you have kids.

    I agree with this 99%, in that while I agree that trust takes time to rebuild but I have to say that now his life is eggshells, anything he ever forgets to say he's done. Spend $4 to get a coffee at dunkin on his way to work and not tell her ahead of time? Done. Think I'm joking... rewatch the video and hear how the female host specifically corrects Dave when he says to the caller that "you have to tell your wife about all purchases going forward" and she adds "big and small" and Dave adjusts by specifically stating "even a freaking pack of gum."
    At some point the partner that has been wronged has to decide that either they are willing to trust again or not. The lording it over them forever isn't trust building, its blackmail. A marriage can't survive when one partner now has a knife to the throat of the other. If she isn't willing to trust him again with the little stuff (obviously I'm not talking about thousands of dollars) then she might as well pull the plug because her "need for reassurance" will lead to contempt on his part. Right now he can't imagine it because he knows he screwed up and he wants to fix it. But a decade down the line when she's still threatening to walk out the door because he bought a soda out of the vending machine at work without clearing it with her it will become hatred in his heart.
    Been there, done that.

    One of the HARDEST things for us men to do is admit to a wife that we are losing in life..... The shame, loss of value and possible disrespect that comes is almost unbearable.... so sometimes we slip into deception. First by saying nothing, then by outright lying. There are men who have lost their jobs going out to "work" every day! I agree with his doing everything to be honest going forward, but he cannot become her slave. He has to still lead, make decisions and risk losing. That is life. What she needs to understand that she will still have to cut him some wiggle room as time goes on. its not her opportunity o now get him to do all he was reluctant to do.

    • @chrysiarose
      @chrysiarose День назад

      Nope - we no longer live in a world where "men lead" - that is mythological nonsense. Women are perfectly capable of living without a man anymore, on their own terms, and so many do. Men need to pop their silly puffed up empty egos. If a man wants a wife now, she is at least equal, but he has to acknowledge that she (and almost every woman) is the leader of the household, the CEO, CFO, and board of directors, since women do everything anyway, while men just go to work, come home, and never do much to actually participate in the care of their children, the work the household needs done (not just mowing a lawn once a week during warm weather, or taking out garbage once a week, but all the items she is stuck with - appointments, school, child care, food, clothes everything. Men need to bow to women as the leader and take their marching orders right away.

    So true 😊 truth is high but higher still is truthful living..super advice from Jade and Dave as ever ..👍👍 so real and based on life experiences ..we all make mistakes otherwise we wouldn’t be human..admittedly the caller is up the creek with a tiny paddle but hats off to him for owning up to his misdemeanours and wanting to change which is the first stage of transformation and full marks to his Mrs for showing she’s serious about future and putting the breaks on 😮 ..she has young kids to consider in all of this crazy that she didn’t create 😢 intensive counselling and a real commitment to change will see him through the strong tides…😊 hopefully he will see Dave’s journey as a model to follow for him to build trust 🙏 we all have to be friggin aware of the lure and power of social media and advertising otherwise it will swallow you up and spit you back out again😮 please let’s get back to real, authentic living 🙏🙏

      You must be stuck in that corner of WN. There's SOOO much more to the app. It started with Funkos and trading cards, then it opened up to more categories from there. Along with clothing other big categories are shoes, storage unit auctions, Amazon pulls, beauty products, luxury bags, and trading cards (still one of the platforms biggest selling categories). It does all very from pre-loved to NWT though I've found more often than not things that are NWT.
