When I was first diagnosed and started taking the meds I felt the same way you did but I guarantee a lot of it id placebo, just be open to that possibility. Both symptoms and benefits, just be open to that possibility.
@@incimeijer24 lol sorry for my grammar in the last post, yea I was excited when I first started my meds. One big misconception about these meds is that they just do the work for you or make you want to do the work. Lol but I had to learn the hard way that all the meds do is give you focus, but you gotta bring the motivation and work ethic to the table. In the beginning I would take my pill and wait for it to kick in thinking it would make me want to do my school work, sadly that time never came 😂. But my gpa went from a 2.0 out of 4 to a 3.7 out of 4. It is actually pretty life changing, it allows me to do what I want.
aww thanks!!💛💛 I hope that the diagnosis brought some relieve and clarity!! it’s honestly so sad that so many people go undiagnosed for so long cuz they’re too good at hiding it…
@@incimeijer24 Thank you. I reread my post and I wrote it out of order. 😆I have become an expert at hiding and masking my ADHD although sometimes it just comes out.
wait i thought you were in australia, but your train shot made me go wtf where are u from LOL edit: I checked ur bio, youre from the netherlands... OK BUT YOU GREW UP IN AUSTRALIA OR SOMETHING RIGHT? I swear you sound australian o_____o
whahahhah, srry for the late response, I was off youtube for a while, buttttt, I'm actually from the Netherlands and have grown up here hehe... I had no idea my accent sounded Australian whhahah
Was watching the video and then I noticed the teeth. I noticed they were yellow and thought, "Must be a sugary diet". Then came back to the video after zoning out.
Of course! It was not the easiest thing since there are still loads of stereotypes regarding ADHD so sometimes getting a diagnosis is kinda hard because people cant't believe that adhd presents itself in different ways. For me it was a bit easier since I was already seeing a therapist who could diagnose me, but for others it is more difficult since there are more steps to undertake to get a diagnosis. I would say the hardest part of getting a diagnosis is actually getting the diagnosis process started.
