    Hello. Will I need to do a remap of the engine when mount such exhaust? I don't want the engine to work badly after the modification of the exhaust system.

      If you get the Akrapovic system, you don't need to remap your engine no. It's confirmed also on their site. It's different for other exhausts but akra sounds nicer than any. I've done 20000 miles with the akra on, no issues mate

    Does every exhaust for the MT07 have to be installed with new pipes? Can't just be a screw-on exhaust?

    • @2LXCKYY
      @2LXCKYY  2 года назад

      Yeah need full system, unless you want to cut up the stock exhaust

    Did you use gaskets between the sylinder head and the exhaust pipes? Just got my Akra today and it didnt come with any gaskets.

      No just pop it in mate and it works. You don't need to remap anything either so don't get ripped off by a mechanic it doesn't need tuning I have another video recently check it out

    Did you tighten the header to 16lbs? When I tightened it, it kinda bent the studs

    • @2LXCKYY
      @2LXCKYY  2 года назад

      Didn't bother with torque. I just tightened it to what is okay, didn't over do it and it's fine. Done 2000 miles on it all okay

      @@2LXCKYY Thats not true, the carbon one is lighter, makes more power and is louder.

    I installed the same one on my 2018 mt07 the headers were squeezed in and would not fit. I was able to pull them out and got everything put together. I was wondering what that smoke was that you had when you first started the bike? Mine did that too. is that smoke normal?

    • @2LXCKYY
      @2LXCKYY  3 года назад +2

      Smokes normal mate, it's just the factory oils used on the pipes, even had it on the tiny 125. Smoked soons I turned it on my mum was like "IT'S SMOKING QUICK" 😂😂

      It's a few bolts 🤣 not rocket science mate. Shouldn't be doing anything to your bike if you can't even change an exhaust as simple as this
