This is an outstanding instructional video of the system I just ordered yesterday for my 2022 Honda Rebel CMX1100 DCT, and I should receive it tomorrow. I previously used the handlebar mounted system that wasn’t too reliable, but it had great battery life. I believe that the FOBO system has batteries that can be replaced, for which I will purchase a few extra. Very concise presentation and easy to follow, thanks a million! 👍
@@RollWithSoul317 no problem and yes each of the sensors has a small button battery in it and so far they do last, I still haven’t replaced the batteries in them yet.
@@ACProductions77 I installed this system today and I am really impressed with it!! The install went smoothly except for one minor hiccup when I mistakenly over tightened the locking nut before I attached the sensor, but an adjustable wrench 🔧 solved the problem because the included wrench doesn’t work in that situation. Also, I noticed that the sensors take longer to transmit and read in the app, the further I am away from them. I’m looking forward to many months of riding worry free about my tires. Thanks again! Stay Safe. 😎👍
Gauge Pressure setting... as the manual indicates, unlike an actual gauge, the sensors measure absolute pressure relative to a vacuum. If you want gauge readings, then the setup has to account - like a gauge - for atmospheric pressure. This setup has to use the phone's or cell tower barometric data to provide that information (which any gauge accounts for by default). Having the Gauge Pressure setting on will account for altitude changes (assuming the barometric data source is good) and give you a decent/accurate gauge pressure reading. If the Gauge Pressure setting is off, then the measurements are always referenced to sea level (14.7) - meaning that the higher you go from sea level the higher the error. Guessing the preferable option is to set Gauge Pressure to On.
@@ACProductions77 Honda probably wanted to avoid having the TPMS computer running while the bike is off. But, I have no doubt they can have it checking the pressure as soon as the bike turns on. I just don’t understand this concept. You get the reading after you already riding a bit. I hope they will change it on newer bikes.

Really helpful video. Thanks!
Very good kit to own. My new Goldwing shows PSI only after around 300 feet rolling. Which is so wrong.
oh boy.

@@alp3781well with this sensors that i installed on the bike you can check the pressure whenever you want bike on or off.
Tyre pressure is supposed to be set while tyres are cold🤦
I have iPhone OS 17.1.1 does not scan when I put near my phone
Swipe the app out from your background and try it again it should fine the signal
Looks like someone needs to set the pressure on the bike, lol
