The juki 2200qvp sit down quilter has a cutter, its also transionial from table to rails. It also has an 18 inch throat. I've had mine 5 years which is the length of warranty. It has lights that are directly over your work space, needle area. It also has a table that is either stand or sit adjustment. I use my two ironing boards for extra table space to hold my quilts, then I can store them when I dont need them. My room is very small, for now, so this is what works for me.
I love this video. I would like to see more of your quilting on the machine like ruler work if possible. It looks like with practice it can be wonderful to create beautiful designs. Yes to the question on having Athena quilt. I bet she will do a fantastic job. Hope she agrees to do it. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I always name my machines too. My very first, when I was a teenager, I named "Costura", Spanish for seam. That's my name suggestion. Enjoy your new machine, whatever name you choose! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Nancy. I’ve been watching your videos before the basement I have learn a lot from your teachings I thank you. I call my quilting machine “Baby”
Love the machine Nancy, Merry Christmas to all. Bertha sounds exactly right for the machine, Nancy. Funny that's what I nicknamed one of my accounting books because she's a really big book. LOL.
What a sweet machine, if it were my machine I’d call her Daisy and put a daisy decal for extra personality. Enjoy your new quilter and have a Merry Christmas with all the best for 2022. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
Juki have the j350 which has a thread cutter and a built in stitch regulator, it also has an 18"throat. Bernina have a 16" machine that has a needle threader

Sweet machine, Nancy! Thanks for a great demonstration! I missed why you don't have your long arm Gammil any longer. Why did you part with it? Is that in a video I missed? Wonder and joy to you and your loved ones this Christmas and in 2022!
I love your videos. Yesterday my quilt store delivered the Husqvarna Viking Platinum Q 160 to my home. I think it’s the same as your Pfaff Powerquilter 1600. Where do you find needles for your machine? My dealer is ordering some Inspira brand. Do you know of any other brands which will work with this machine? Thanks!
I bought it brand new and it is still available. I purchased mine from Smith-Owening Sewing right her in Grand Rapids MI - there website is www.smithowensew.com you can contact them to find out more ;)

Do you do the whole quilt with a straight stitch before you quilt in the sections
All depends - I usually do but will have to try it with my new machine and let you know how it goes :)
