I had to come and see what being on the boat was like after what just happened...
I’m surprised they didn’t find him, i thought the ship was much bigger from the headlines
he unexpectedly jumped into the ocean after dark. It would have been a miracle if they had found him.
I was shocked when I saw this boat! It has tires hanging from ropes all along the side, if he had swum towards the boat he might have been able to grab one of those. Tragic.

Here after watching many vids of Cameron, RIP dude. Assuming this is same route it took that night, anchored just off that island.
Such a small boat. How did they not rescue that kid? Was no adult watching over them? Insane. I smell a law suit incoming
18 year old kid…so technically an adult. And of legal drinking age so most likely a factor. Also understood there was a dare involved. Can’t think the boat could be liable if they jumped off themselves.
@@CruisesRoomsReviews When I say adult I was referring to a manager and/or somebody who worked there who is properly trained to handle such a situation. If only they had a coherient chaperon with them.

There should be some legal action against the company? Kids, unsupervised drunk, no signs or warnings about jumping in??
When sharks bite off legs and arms in a matter of seconds not much left to rescue.

Yes - kids don't always do the smartest things.
They really did a great job entertaining the kids.. definitely for kids

Bet the night cruises are a bit different. It was going on 11pm when the Cameron saga happened, most kids would be in bed.😊

How did they not get that kid who jumped off this boat. Only one life raft on the ship thrown? Makes no sense the crew is definitely not qualified for an emergency.

Hi - There are benches in various places all around the ship. At least when we went (which was during pandemic times - so lower crowds) there were no issues finding a place to sit.
If you ever fall overboard.....try to grab onto the tires hanging onto the side of the boat. Then pull yourself up and hang on to the rope. Get yourself out of the water.
Good advice - unless the ship is moving too fast...
Or dont fall in the water in the first place.😮 preferably.
And if your arms are gone in a matter of seconds?
I believe most of my cruise's we're on the Morning Star great diving and food
It's hard to point any fingers in that situation. If anything, the whole situation will hopefully promote safer behaviors from people who ride on ships.

Do you know if it takes the same route as the evening cruise and how far from shore does it go? Seems strange they cannot find the kid who jumped off.

It fluctuates…but this weekend (Memorial Day)on Freedom it’s $70 per adult and $35 per child. I believe we paid less when we went but cannot remember.
We just did it on 9/22/22 it was $70 for adults and $35 for child.

It was Bahamian law (even outdoors) at the time this video was shot. We feel it is the right thing to respect local law even if others felt free to take them off.
