This will be our 2nd Freedom cruise going to 8days eastern caribbean..nov 23-dec 1-2024 ..I don't care for this updated JS ..we will be in cabin 9268 deck 9. Like older JS better. Last nov 4-11th 2023 did Radiance of seas with friends, LOVED that ship decor, elegance, we stayed in GS 1060 balcony was HUGE and cabin beautiful. We got great deal using husband's RCCL credit card as this cruise will be using points. Difference between GS and JS price on this trip over $2800 extra and for us on this trip would rather save $2800. Thank you for providing the video to give us ideas. I don't like the step up on tubs or to balconies I get clumsy stub toes easily and I do not drink espresso's. I do not like ship coffee/bitter/strong so I drink hot chocolate instead. Oh closets seem excessive ..like older JS I do like walk in closets so that's nice touch. I can't wait til we cruise in Nov /thanksgiving cruise getting away on awesome vacatiion for us. Don't need cables for Samsung phones...Samsung phones connect directly to Samsung TVs....I even changed the tv in a bar to a sporting event that I wanted to watch using my Samsung phone to Samsung TV

Hi Matt, thank you for your video this is very helpful. I have a question being that this state room was more towards the front of the ship did you feel a lot of the movements of the ship?

I don't think its smart to recommend cruisers to purchase ANYTHING with a surge protector when the cruise lines clearly state that they are prohibited. I just dont think it's worth the risk long-term, especially when they are plenty of other and better options on Amazon.

We have 9693 on the Harmony coming up. Thank you for showing us the identical cabin. We also are use to an OV balcony but this was only thing available when we booked. It’s still beautiful just different view from the balcony.😊

ALL the Cruise Lines need to put more electrical outlets in ALL Cabins, ESPECIALLY next to the bed(s) !!! For Pete's Sake, even the hotels have more Electrical Outlets. 🤔

Try this, If you quickly click the on-off button under the tv, this will bring up the source menu at the btm, Then click it again to scroll across to which ever hdmi you want. Then press and hold button to select. This method I use on quantum of the seas. No need to unplug and plug-in power

with the location of the bathroom light switch - maybe consider a nightlight for the bathroom in case somebody accidentally turns the light off on you

Thanks for the video! Did you notice major noise being on the top deck of staterooms (right below the Windjammer)? Could you hear people walking above you/dragging chairs?
