The Tangem Ring wallet is super easy to setup and use. This is my first wallet and could not be happier. I am a newb to the cold wallet and love this one!

I have a Tangem wallet that I bought off of your link. I love it a lot. I leave the cards at home though because if I got robbed, the presence of the card on my person, or this ring, reduces all that beautiful security down to your phone’s security. So I don’t transact on the go like you are supposed to with this thing, but it would sure function great doing that.
Hello! The Ring looks just like.. a black ring. No battery -> no added thickness that could make people think it's a ring of interest. Wearing your crypto doesn't have to be a risk On top of that, to be scanned, the ring must be removed from your finger first. This means that thieves wouldn't be able to secretly scan every black rings to find out which are Tangem Rings even if they wanted to. Robbers would somehow need to know that you are a Tangem user and look for the cards in your wallet or your ring. If you are unlucky enough to get pickpocketed AND they find the cards AND they know what it is, they will not be able to use it because it is protected by an access code that is protected against brute-force attacks. After the sixth incorrect attempt to enter the access code, the delay time for the next attempt is increased by 1 second. The maximum delay time is 45 seconds. The delay is only reset after the access code has been successfully entered. But please do what makes you sleep better at night, if having your Tangem wallet on you, despite all it's security and anonymity makes you uncomfortable then it's perfectly fine to leave it at home too. We provide the devices and the users can do what they want with it 🤝

@@artshields5845 that's the current standard fee per transaction on the BTC network, it's only worth it if you are transferring a large sum of BTC. Let's say you are buying BTC on an exchange, wait until you have a BTC amount that's worth transferring. The Tangem wallet will work better for transferring other cryptos, like USDT or SOL as fees are way lower.
I still love my LV reverse monogram kislux clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

@tangem_official its a NFC chip - it can be read by ANY device that has NFC functionality! Crypto and regular e-cash for that matter should not be exposed like that. Paying with your card or phone is risky enough but convinient. But crypto is self custody. If someone steals it there is no returning back by calling the bank. Putting it in on a ring exposes you to every single thing you touch.
I don’t see a reason to get this ring over the cards, at least I need to know what makes it better than the cards rather than simply being…wearable. And maybe they should make the ring’s color or pattern customizable, so that it doesn’t look exactly the same to others who may instantly have an idea of what that ring is with just a glance to your finger.

Of course, if you passed away, accessing your crypto will be a challenge.. But you can educate your family on what to do in case it happens. I have Tangem. My only problem and concern is related to the concept of “not your keys, not your crypto.” It seems to me that Tangem is good so long as Tangem exists. But, as soon as Tangem dies/is sold/etc. we may lose access to our assets due to not having keys. Am I wrong in this assumption?

I have legder and I always thought it was a pain in the butt then its always a nervous anxiety when im moving stuff around or when im putting my seed pharse in or updationg it. Hey Greg! There is nothing to indicate that it's a crypto ring. It it resistant to X-rays in compliance with the ISO 7816-1 standard. Airport X-rays are no problem. Since the Ring is made out of Zirconia and not metal, it shouldn't raise any alarms with the metal detector either.
We are tired of seeing prices go up every year while quality goes down. Add to that the sweatshop controversy and it's easy to go to other more affordable brands. As you said, kislux really popular

This is to make sure that you know exactly how many copies of your private keys exist and that nobody can make an extra copy without you knowing. It comes with 2 cards so you can make a fresh new wallet with it. If you have a seedphrase, nothing is stopping you from importing it in the Ring. (Also note that you can use multiple set of devices in the same app)

I'd rather buy a $300 knockoff of a kislux and have $3000 in the bank. At the end of the day it's just a bag and will wear out like any other bag. The cost of the raw materials isn't that high. The real question is, how much do you value the authenticity?
It's cool to have 100% ownership, but not if the speed and fees to move money are greater than moving it using venmo. I wouldnt bother with crypto if I didnt see it as a way to make $ holding and swapping crypto. The convenience isnt there yet atm imo
Hi there, if by account you mean multiple set of private keys (aka entirely different wallets), then unfortunately not. However, if by account, you mean networks, then you absolutely can have multiple for a single wallet. For example (NFA): Shiba, Bitcoin and Solana in the same wallet. There are no limit, if the network is supported, you can add it no matter how many you already have in your wallet.

Hey there! You can either make an on-chain transfer (sending your coins from Ledger to the address from the Tangem Ring) or you can import your Ledger seedphrase directly in a Tangem wallet.
If you lose one of your Tangem cards, you'll still have access to your funds through the other card(s) in your possession. No other person can use your lost card without your access code. This is why you must complete the backup process when setting up your Tangem Wallet. The lost card cannot be hacked into or tampered with to reveal your private key. If you have only one card left, you should get another set of Tangem Wallet cards and move your funds into them. If you lose all your cards, you will lose your crypto. Let’s be honest; it is much harder to lose all of them if you store them in different locations.

@@artshields5845 I transferred BTC from an exchange to a cold wallet the other day. It was $40 to send $100 in BTC. I noticed it was the same $40 to send 15k in BTC. So I just ended up sending more.
@@artshields5845 that's the current standard fee per transaction on the BTC network, it's only worth it if you are transferring a large sum of BTC. Let's say you are buying BTC on an exchange, wait until you have a BTC amount that's worth transferring. The Tangem wallet will work better for transferring other cryptos, like USDT or SOL as fees are way lower.

I use my kislux as a work bag and have had no issues at all. Itâs a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadnât lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and donât carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio

@tangem_official its a NFC chip - it can be read by ANY device that has NFC functionality! Crypto and regular e-cash for that matter should not be exposed like that. Paying with your card or phone is risky enough but convinient. But crypto is self custody. If someone steals it there is no returning back by calling the bank. Putting it in on a ring exposes you to every single thing you touch.

I don’t see a reason to get this ring over the cards, at least I need to know what makes it better than the cards rather than simply being…wearable. And maybe they should make the ring’s color or pattern customizable, so that it doesn’t look exactly the same to others who may instantly have an idea of what that ring is with just a glance to your finger.
@@helengren9349 Other colours should come in the future. If someone finds your lost Ring and throws it in the bin, you can still access your crypto thanks to the backup cards. Of course, if you passed away, accessing your crypto will be a challenge.. But you can educate your family on what to do in case it happens.
From a security standpoint, if an attacker finds your lost Ring, they cannot access the wallet because it is protected by an access code. Moreover, the Ring is also protected against brute-force attacks. After the sixth incorrect attempt to enter the code, the delay time for the next attempt is increased by 1 second. The maximum delay time is 45 seconds. The delay is only reset after the access code has been successfully entered.
I have Tangem. My only problem and concern is related to the concept of “not your keys, not your crypto.”
It seems to me that Tangem is good so long as Tangem exists. But, as soon as Tangem dies/is sold/etc. we may lose access to our assets due to not having keys. Am I wrong in this assumption?

Hey Greg! There is nothing to indicate that it's a crypto ring. It it resistant to X-rays in compliance with the ISO 7816-1 standard. Airport X-rays are no problem.
Since the Ring is made out of Zirconia and not metal, it shouldn't raise any alarms with the metal detector either.

(Also note that you can use multiple set of devices in the same app)

I'd rather buy a $300 knockoff of a kislux and have $3000 in the bank. At the end of the day it's just a bag and will wear out like any other bag. The cost of the raw materials isn't that high. The real question is, how much do you value the authenticity?

Hi there, if by account you mean multiple set of private keys (aka entirely different wallets), then unfortunately not.
However, if by account, you mean networks, then you absolutely can have multiple for a single wallet. For example (NFA): Shiba, Bitcoin and Solana in the same wallet. There are no limit, if the network is supported, you can add it no matter how many you already have in your wallet.

You can either make an on-chain transfer (sending your coins from Ledger to the address from the Tangem Ring) or you can import your Ledger seedphrase directly in a Tangem wallet.
i got a question about tangem card , lets say we lost all our tangem card ( stole or fire wathever) how do we get acces to our account ????
If you lose one of your Tangem cards, you'll still have access to your funds through the other card(s) in your possession. No other person can use your lost card without your access code. This is why you must complete the backup process when setting up your Tangem Wallet. The lost card cannot be hacked into or tampered with to reveal your private key.
If you have only one card left, you should get another set of Tangem Wallet cards and move your funds into them.
If you lose all your cards, you will lose your crypto. Let’s be honest; it is much harder to lose all of them if you store them in different locations.
