This is by far the most emotional video I have seen this week. I am glad she found her truth. God bless her with so much talent and glad she's inadvertently touching lives with her music.
I'm thankful I stumbled upon this video. Kesha gave a beautiful speech and beautiful performance. Her songs about trauma and pain are really cathartic.
Kesha, we fucking love you! You have saved so many of our lives so many times. You’ve carried us through our darkest days by sharing your pain in your darkest days. You ARE worthy of so much!
Old Kesha songs were something I considered to be a guilty pleasure. Something I was definitely singing along to on the radio in my car, but never proudly spoken of. But Kesha free of the restraints is something I would proudly sing poorly. The amount of raw emotion that Praying conveyed made me actually cry when I heard it. And those emotions still affect me every time I hear it. Everything on her Rainbow album hits differently because it was just ripping off that bandage and exposing the raw truth lurking just below the surface. It was real and something that I connected with deeply. This song was no different, and I am honored she shared it with us all.
It’s crazy how much this woman touches my soul and inspires me with her brutal honesty, whimsical personality, lack of unnecessary filters, and kindness (my goodness she is kind and forgiving). Kesha, if you ever see this, know that I aspire to be as forgiving, fun, confident, and powerful as you have become. I cannot thank you enough for channeling this horrible and disgusting situation in which you were put into a story to inspire all of us who are hurting or feeling wronged one way or another ❤
This brought on profound tears. To stand there, after all of these years. Speak her truth and with such light, found her way throughout the darkness. This woman has such a tremendous aura and a beacon of hope for her long time fans / new fans and people in general. I’m so beyond proud of her, not only for standing up there telling her story. But the fact she has her voice back. HER voice. 🫶🏻 We love you Ke$ha.

It's astounding that the first time I ever saw her was in an episode of The Simple Life with Paris and Nicole. That cheerful young girl, that was making quips and jokes. Just like Chapell Roan said recently, the industry champions those who are not able to protect themselves, and devours them whole. 😢
