I just want a new map. I’m sick of Mexico. The weather is the same 24/7. No proper cities. All of it is so empty. At the least, we need another DLC or something man.
The lego city looked like it was awesome to drive on, but I only watched it, I haven’t bought a dlc yet I didn’t think it would be worth it.
I don't think they'll give us another dlc. That's why I'm ready for tdu solar crown.

They need to streamline the convoy system and let people choose other races when a race finishes. It’s so tedious going back to the open world and syncing up a convoy when we were just in a convoy and just want to race together…

@Mercurhymes how do you figure? If its a new engine that means its not optimized as weve seen with FM8. Fh5 is definitely an unfinished game even now. All they do is add cars and bug fixes and a few new eventlab props every month. Its nice but they just beat around the bush instead of making a finished product.
You’re right fh5 is far from complete . Which is why they need fh6 .mexico is absolutely boring , flat , bland and empty, eliminator ruined the game . Now if they had the city of Mexico with big buildings then it wouldn’t be ass, but there’s soo many open areas full of nothing to do

If this means we’ll gets things in FH6 like more brand new car models for existing vehicles (even though the R33 and R34 Skyline’s need to be remodeled too), and a more better detailed map that truly feels like a step up from maps in past horizon titles I think the extra development time will be worth it.
The map doesn’t need to be more detailed, it needs to be actually fun to drive in.

Like I said Forza Horizon 6 will release in 2026 on Microsoft's rumored next gen console. Keep in mind that Playground Games are currently developing Fable which would explain why Horizon 6 won't see a release any time soon. I think they are cooking something big for the next Horizon game and will want to go next gen. Of course I could be wrong, but that's my prediction.
Fable and FH6 are developed by two different teams in the same studio, the development of Fable has not affected Forza in any way. It's probably just that Forza needs some more time in the oven before release

There are 2 separate teams that work on Fable & Forza Horizon, so Fable being worked on doesn’t affect Horizon 6’s development in any way. Also, they’re not gonna release their next console only 6 years after the Series X & S was first released. Horizon 6 will most likely be revealed and out by the end of next year.
I don’t think it would take that long. They would never wait an entire console generation to make a new one. I bet it’s next year fr. I’m not saying that because it didn’t come out this year so it should next year, I’m saying that because I truly think that’s the case. It will be over the 2-3 year pattern release time that they usually go by. It will be 4 years in 2025 since horizon 5 was released. I believe it’s 2025 fr.

Random speculation about why the SLR is in other games, but not in Forza games: Turn10 and PGG often buy licences for short periods. Other companies like Sony and Ubisoft might've bought longer or permanent license agreements and also made them BEFORE Mercedes and McLaren started to argue over the rights to the model.

Interesting. Because I watched AR12 video about FH6 yesterday and he mentioned that there are 500 employees at PG studio, 250 of them specifically work on Forza and the other 250 on Fable. They don't work cross teams
FH6 Can’t risk releasing in the same time frame as GTA 6 because then all of the spotlight and attention will go to GTA and no one will care about Horizon 6

Better forza aero. More in depth tuning. Customizable house/ garage. Ditch real life country/city names. Just mimic like nfs and gta so you can add any gas station or building you want without jumping thru hoops

@lanceward540 not basing the map off a real world location with all its names would go against the identity of Horizon. The real world is pretty interesting, they just choose to make the maps boring and flat with wide roads, high speed corners and open fields everywhere. They can create fantasy locations for the expansions.

I don't think there will ever be a FH6, but rather a completely new Forza game, it will either be called, Forza World, or Forza Horizon world featuring multiple locations (probably 3 or 4), games lately seems to skip numbers, like Grid, Need For Speed & Test Drive & i think Horizon will too as Forza Motorsport already did it

New idea: FH6 never exists. Just a map extension plus the ability to fast travel to all previous Horizen maps.
As long as they don't innovate anymore, this might be the best idea.

Remaster the maps from horizons 1-3 and release them as DLC’s.
Heck, I'd be happy with FH1-3 being ported to PC 😢I just bought FH5 2 nights ago ...as I hadn't touched a FH game since 3 & 4, back on Xbox One in 2018/19. I didn't realize the size of the game was almost 200gb smfh 😂 I play on a Steam Deck, and had to delete a couple games on my 1TB micro SD card ....I even had to buy a new second card as well.
Iv been asking for 2jz swaps to Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi lancers and Mazda rx7s but they say use our suggestions features and the 1st one didn't get added for 2 years
FH6 is going to be super polished 😜I do hope it will feature some new disciplines and get rid of that Forza Aero and give us some proper aero so the cars still look appealing after tuning it.
We certainly do NOT want a FM2023 like launch of the next Horizon installment!

You touched several topics I completely agree with. A game lasting 4-5 years is a good thing. All of our grinding and gametime doesn't disappear as quickly. I am so not ready to start from scratch again. We need newer games to have larger maps and legit new content for the first 2 years. No bs recycling. Like you said FH1-FH5 have been the same game on repeat. Wheelspins and no direction or career. We need something different and something new. So tired of the horizon festival and festival playlists....

On the subject of introducing cars into Forza Horizon 5 has there been any consideration of the 'SSC AERO'' from Forza Motorsport 4?
People seem to be forgetting or don't know that PGG is developing the new Fable, and that's coming 2025. We're not going to see FH6 for a few years.
My inner self was a bit mad, because I really wanted to see some fh6 on the Xbox showcase, but now, watching your video it kind made a lot of sense. If they are keeping fh5 for another year, I with they launch another expansion, even if it smaller, but this time around making it part for the Mexico map. I feel like the Rally Adventure expansion is a blast, but it is so underused, just because you have to load a whole new section of the game to play it, even when you enter the game and you are there, everything is happening on Mexico, and it sometimes it feels like you are being punished to have bought the expansions. Idk.

This is the way I see it. With seemingly no news on a third expansion DLC for the game, any future Playlist updates are gonna need to bang, like Retrowave, Apex Allstars, the last eight or nine months have.
They gotta keep this momentum, at least for another twelve months, if Horizon 6 drops late 2025 as one would expect.
Beyond that?... I don't know. I don't know if Horizon 5 could last half a decade, but I'm willing to see what happens

Considering the fact, how horrible was FH5 release after three year development - I'm quite happy, that FH6 is going to be released much later. Especially, when FH6 is going to be even bigger and probably more diverse thanks to current-gen only release. Last year's departure of key figures probably also affected a release date. And, yeah... GTA VI. It's autumn 2025 release also makes some questions about FH6 release at the same period as each GTA release usually outshines all the other game releases.
Customization customization customization. They need more kits and aero for most cars. I don’t care as much about map size as I care about the quality of cities and roads. Fh5 gets boring extremely fast since I can’t create the car look that I want and once I get close I’m stuck traveling these same pointless empty roads.

GTA has made the bookmark for games. Make one game, make it well. Add to it so people can keep their progress and make it open. Trying to control everything about it creates more problems than solutions. I'd be content with outdated models if I could change the exhaust tip and they got rid of the stupid Forza aero. What they're doing now is how it should've been from the beginning, they just got complacent in their ways and gave us crap for so long.
I’m hoping they fix the performance specs and tuning models for some of these cars before FH6 is released. For example, the 2022 Golf R, which has inaccurate gearing and cannot be accurately fixed by transmission tuning.
I just really hope when Forza horizon six does come out it feels like the older titles. The older ones felt like summer fun with great music and festivals the new games just feel like car collectors and other nonsense.
It feels empty, because there are no random players to interact with on the map. Not in the same way as in FH4 for example, stop and wait at the edge of the highway and always some1 will come to race you - even today it has big player base.

There are few things that can be done
-map extension or 3rd dlc (something like Blizzard mountain, snow tires seems useless)
-new car models and new parts of forza aero
-reverse tracks
-permenent evolving world(changes can desapear in eliminator)
-duo/team eliminator
FH6 could be planned to be a console seller (because of leaks about faster premier of next gen)
- Not going to happen, the Contract was for 2 Expansions, Microsoft will not Provide the Budget for a Third as a Third has not been Contracted.
-New Car models are coming, however, Several Car Companies are Refusing to allow the Forza Aero to be Remodelled.
-Playground have Stated that they are looking into Reversed Tracks.
-That will be Dependent on Permission from the Government of the Country the Map is based on.
-Torben Ellert has stated he is not a Fan of the Eliminator, at all, so unless Microsoft Forces its Retention, it will likely be Scrapped. Good Riddance I say.
A bigger gap between the games due to the detail and size makes sense. I just want FH6 to be a more immersive experience. TDU2 pretty much hit the nail on the head for me. There’s so much more they could do to make the horizon series more interesting. More interesting houses/yachts, car dealerships etc. instead of seasons, I’d like to see 3-4 different islands that are completely different from each other that you can travel between. They need to get rid of the Hot wheels/lego type expansions. The actual story line itself could be so much more interesting. Introduce petrol stations and the need to fill up while exploring the map, car washes, tuner shops and workshops. It could be so much more fun to play than just doing the weekly forzathon events. All the online play is so boring in the game now. They could also introduce post race crash penalties, like paying for the damage you caused to your car or your car can’t be used for x amount of time while it’s repaired after a race etc. The game could be so much better but they keep choosing this same game format.
My biggest hope for FH6 is a proper progression system. I don't want more car slop where tje game keeps throwing Ferraries and money at me for just driving around smashing into fences.

I understand everything that was said and the reasoning. But I have done everything in Horizon 5 and the updates are cool but it just seems like I'm doing the same things every week. I'll continue playing, but The Crew Motorfest is probably gonna be my main game for now. It's just more interesting.

Gt7 have the best car models period so thats not any weak point towards fh5. But if fh6 takes extra time to remodel some of the outdated models i think its worth waiting 1-2 extra years.
Polypony digital running on their in house engine while most other including forza uses unreal engine
@@olavofernandes7286 Errr. Forza Horizon 5 uses Forzatech M, not Unreal.
FH6 may also use Forzatech M (Fable Build), as the new F-Tech Engine has proven to be downright Broken in FM8, while Fable is using the Forzatech M Engine, albeit Heavily Upgraded with a lot of F-Tech's Abilities, so given Forzatech M has a much more Stable Code than F-Tech, it makes more sense to use the Fable Build of the Older Engine, as Unreal (the only other Option) has been shown in EA Sports WRC and TDUSC to suffer with Severe Stuttering and Lag in Racing Games.
They told us literally "we are not Done with fh5" and everyone is dumbfounded they didn't drop a trailer.
I would love for fh5 to stay as the newest horizon game for a while, but its annoying how most of the playerbase is now gone.

I wish Forza would focus more on maps. I would pay $60 for a new map with the exact same cars. I am so bored of their rendition of Mexico. IMO they should be dropping new maps every quarter and pricing them based on size

It really sucks that Fable is taking the spotlight for 2025 and the entirety of PG for that matter. They've been working on that game forever. We got trailers for it in 2023, and now in 2024... Horizon 6 definitely coming in 2026, hopefully with a reveal trailer on the next Xbox Games Showcase event... I guess we'll be chasing the Horizon for a while until it comes to an end in Horizon 6.
I think they’re doing something like horizon 1 and I hope they do. I started with horizon 4 watch game play of horizon 1 which looked so much better with the storyline and it would be cool if they do. I hope maverick games, racing game is good
I feel like after seeing Forza motorsport fail, playground games could use this as the perfect time to test new features in Forza horizon 5 while continuing to give bigger monthly updates while using the feedback from new features and ideas to prepare for Forza horizon 6
I think they are focusing on the Fable so they don't have resources to make FH6 simultaneously.
If I’m honest, I really could wait another year, I know the map now became boring and repetitive and more with the fact that it’s almost empty, but I know that there are still a million things to do or complete and many many cars to enjoy that may or may not return on fh6

Headlights and taillights need more detail and transparent materials need thickness
They have the power to overhaul FH5, turn signals, lights, windows they can do all of it, it’s already in the game to some degree if you look hard enough. And they can even do a huge DLC for other areas of the world, but I’m telling you rn the next game is gonna be in Hong Kong
I will Boycott the Game if it is China, same as I have Boycotted TDUSC. I am Zero Tolerance on Communism, and will only accept a NATO Country as the Setting for FH6.
I wish to extend the content of FH5 than having FH6, because it may cause license issues for many cars that were featured currently. That's my concern
personally I hope to see FH6 in these locations:
Germany-beautiful castles and the home of volkwwagen, mercedes, and the nurburing track and cant forget the famous autobahn also with A tie in with switzerland

Isreal-despite things going down in that country it would be like japan but in the middle east with beautiful and historic scenery and tons of mountainous terrain perfect for drifting and all terrain vehicles and for the two expansions have Cairo and Dubai so you can see the pyramids and the Burj Khalifa all in the same game and also having both properties in isreal and palestine so everyone is happy

Perhaps there could be oppurtunities to in future games to:
build and customize your own house if you dont like the one that is currently on the plot but will show up as default to other players

having the oppurtunity to move your character around other than standing in place with A NPC or being just sitting in the car at all times perhaps hiking could be added having the oppurtunity to find collectibles and chests by using A metal detector getting the oppurtunity to get rare cars and huge payouts along with giving yourself the oppurtunity to keep playing forza horizon but to ease you off of those post-race jitters and yes people need to touch grass but hey not everyone lives in the countryside and forest so why not something that can simulate it for those stuck in cities wanting more than A giant park

I barely play horizon 5 because I'm bored with it. it's an almost empty space with a few small towns. I only play to get the cars and then get off

I knew there would be no horizon 6 announcement yesterday and I've repeatedly said for the last 6 months. Lol I honestly don't see why people thought we'd be getting it this year when there's already a crap ton coming out this year and next year. I suggest people get used to the idea of having to wait til 2026 for horizon 6, as I believe it'll be a launch title for the next gen xbox. Also we DO NOT want horizon 6 to be a cross gen title and i dont believe it will be tbh and that's another reason why i strongly believe horizon 6 isn't coming for another 2 years as well as fable of course.
Can you do some more cruises for subscribers on forza horizon 3, for old times' sake
I would be glad to belive that extra development time would mean better game, unfortunately looking at Forza Motorsport I have huge doubts about it (yes, I know it is a different team). So I hope we will get a good game, but bitter sweet feeing about FH5 and map that I still find boring, feels like I`ll find other game to play until that time.
I'd appreciate improvements like a variety of things being optional.(for Horizon 6)
Drivatars in "offline" freeroam: On/Off (They tend to ruin a run up for the jumps/speed traps. Regular traffic isn't an issue.)
Switch pinned challenges in the DLCs to: On/Off (I'm not fond of things being forced.)
There's the Hot Wheels DLC issue, going through certain loops forcibly applies your brakes, and the auto-steering on magnetic track sections affect handling and passing others.
Etc.

I think we need another year until they even tease fh6 because fh5 has so many problems they need to fix for fh5
My predictions for FH6
1. FH6 will be set in either South Korea, China, or Japan why? Well think about how many brand new to Forza Asian car's here lately and I don't think it's a coincidence or a car marketing thing no more I think it's more of a subtle hint
2. FH6 will be released in 2025 cause there's absolutely no way FH5 can make it to 2026
3. And finally FH5 updates will die down by Series 45-50 or 51 which were not that far away from
Bonus: I don't know why but I've seen some people speculating and claiming that FH6 will be set in Germany and people want Germany only because of the Autobahn but I know that FH6 will not be set in Germany cause it'll be FH4 all over again cause it'll lack diverse biomes
Bonus 2: although I'm curious about how FH5 would entertain us until FH6 will be released 🤔

Playground games is on the final development's phase of Fable, so i don't think we're gonna hear any news about FH6 till 2025.
I think this is the right way, I wish the current map was more interesting but hey, Horizon 5 is great other wise! Plus this would mean that we could get the M2 Competition, Lamborghini Revuelto, etc. in Horizon 5 👀
It'd be nice if a third DLC map were a possibility to hold us over until FH6 is a thing. I think FH5 is overall solid and could benefit from more content.
Well, have a really hard think about the futured technology that we are getting along with the other devices that are considering a huge revamp, due to the reasoning that our technology is getting more advanced and more complicated. With the futured technology in the horizon, it will mean that 4k technology will be even more revamped. If you think about this a bit more such as TV's, Computer's, Phone's and other devices that are getting more advanced. When technology is getting even more advanced in the 2030's, the 4k technology will follow suit. I believe this is actually possible that 4k technology will be even more advanced for game makers with other games than Forza, but the game making for the newer 4k technology will be even making it even longer in time. With the current 4k technology can be even more evolved with a lot of games and along with the game makers to give it more time to develop them and get a better result for their work. This is called a Time Lapse. If this is technically true from other big huge companies such as Microsoft, then it's no surprise. However, the recent update from certain companies is definitely NVIDIA. They just got a huge split of their stock and finally chasing Microsoft down with a lot on their hands with chasing big companies. When NVIDIA did it recently, then it's possible that game making will take even longer in time. When big companies go up in so many areas, it can be a huge possibility that games will be even more harder to make with time and getting the correct results from their work. I believe that it's possible that we are definitely getting GTA6 before Forza Horizon 6 at this rate, due to technology that are changing and 4k technology is about to become more difficult to get the correct resource for their respective teams. However, Forza always had multiple teams. Don't forget Playground Games do have their offices with Forza, Turn 10 and especially Microsoft. Playground games are always with other teams that are in their combined works and do hold many secrets that they never revealed. That's all, but remember that Playground Games are not just working on Forza Horizon games, they are working around 4k technology to make their future games even better and they do hold secrets from everyone for every update on cars in Forza Horizon 5. They do have a secret vault in one of their offices to make everyone surprised.
I'm patient. I am still having a ton of fun playing FH5. I HOPE THEY EVENTUALLY OFFER OPTIONS BEYOND THE "FORZA AERO" FOR MOST CARS, not just a select few.
Unless they update fh5 with a city or something then I have no reason of returning to a dead map

I think most companies are just feeding off DLC plus microtransations. They dont need to invest millions anymore on a new game. Its a shame, but thats just how it is now.
