Om danskene snakker tydelig og ikke alt for "snøvlete", synes jeg det er veldig lett å forstå. De fleste dansker som har hatt en viss eksponering for norsk tale, ville også lett forstå det meste i dette innslaget fra Kollektivet.
I don´t get why so many swedes and dannish people don´t understand norwegian. I live in Norway, and almost everyone here understand swedish and dannish perfectly fine. Is norwegian such a difficult language ?
It has to do with Norwegian dialects being way more different than the Swedish and Danish ones. So we are better at understanding danish and Swedish since we are already used to talking with people speaking dialects that are more different than some closely related languages.
Yes, Swedish is the one that differs the most, but it's still the Danes that have the most trouble by understanding Swedes and Norwegians (usually in oral speech).
no, it's not "implicit" in your last comment, it's not there at all tbh. You said danish and swedish are very similar in speech, which is completely untrue according to me.
Denmark is the Scandinavian country that has the most trouble understanding Norwegian and Swedish. I'm a halfling so I understand both Norwegian and Danish :3 Only problem is the Swedes ...

No no no no. I'm half-swedish half-danish and that's complete nonsense. In speech Norway and Sweden is most similar and in grammar/vocabulary Norway and Denmark is most similar :) And sweden - denmark is like also smiliar in grammar/vocabulary but not as much as norway - denmark :-)
Dynamitt-Harry jo!
«Er det feil promp??»

I hink it has to do about getting used to listen to the spoken language. The words are the same 95% of the time, we just need to speak more together!
I disagree that Swedish and Danish are very similar in speech, Maybe somewhat in Skåne, but not in Sweden proper.
det er allerede noen som har påpekt det
