    I have had a lot more success with renting my timeshare point reservations with Redweek. Airbnb requires a lot more work for posting and deducts more when someone rents it. Using the calendar to post a timeshare isn't user friendly either. Airbnb is more set up for something you own all year and can take reservations whenever. Posting a timeshare reservation requires you to "block out" a lot of dates and I can't post mulitiple reservations because the pricing may be slightly different due to the season or event attached to the reservation. I was hoping you would talk about setting up calendar dates. Is there an easier way to do it for timeshares?

      Hi Heidi, thank you so much for watching and commenting. I can agree that Redweek is much more user friendly when using point based timeshares than Airbnb. I’m going to do some research on setting up calendar dates and get an answer back to you. Thanks again for watching and commenting!

      What's redweek? Is that another site or are your referring to the busy weeks of the timeshare?

    Hello, Im a timeshare owner. I watch your other video on how to list my timeshare in Airbnb. One of the requirements is to have a Short term rental permit. But in Anaheim, when you apply for application permit, they required me to have HOA, allowing short term rental. Can you please give me an idea on how to be part of hoa and at least get a documentation allowing short term rental for my timeshare? I see many listing in AirBnb that has the same Timeshare that I have. I dont know how they made list on Airbnb. Thank you for helping me. 😊

      Hi Kobe thank you so much for watching and commenting! I apologize for the delay in responding. I had to take some time to research this to see what the best course of action would be. You have a few options to fix this issue. Based on your timeshare location in Anaheim you can use this website to find an hoa, get information on joining as well as fee information as well. hoa-community.com/location/ca/anaheim-ca/
      Using that site you can see what the hoa requirements are fees are to see if it’s worthwhile to pursue. I’ve reached out to a few hoas in Anaheim as well for additional information on this process. I hope this information helps.

    Hey how’s it goin, I purchased my timeshare from a salesman am I doomed? 😔

      @everydayfinance5185  2 года назад +3

      Hey, thank you for sharing, you may not be doomed because you bought it from a salesman. As long as your property agreement allows sublets you can rent out your time for the property.

    Thanks for the video, it was very clear and easy to follow. I have a timeshare with Wyndham and it's based on the point system, how would that work as far as renting it out?

    • @everydayfinance5185
      @everydayfinance5185  Год назад +1

      Thank you so much for watching and commenting. You’d need to look over your ownership information to see if it’s possible without penalty. Unfortunately point based timeshares typically don’t allow you to rent the space.

      You can't rent point based time shares at all? If not is the best option selling it?

      @everydayfinance5185  Год назад

      Hi Bess, thank you for commenting and watching! You can sell you timeshare a few ways. The best way is to reach out to a real estate agent that focuses in resales. You can also sell it online as well

    It took you 2 minutes and 28 seconds just to get to the subject, after intro, and the customery but unnecessary some kind of "brand" video. Anyone who selects to watch your video on this subject already knows what timeshares and Airbnb's are. Otherwise, they would look for videos on either subject. Please consider that the title selects the viewing audience when deciding on what to cover. Why do people on RUclips take a marketing concepts "branding" that is serious, and apply to the start of videos, a total unnecessary waste of time. Oh well.
