    Wow, good job with the info about Redweek. I'm surprised there was only 1 comment! I've used them many times in the past to rent out timeshare units and was very successful but now I've transitioned on to Airbnb. I still use Redweek to check pricing levels and then go up from there. If for some reason I run into a slump on Airbnb I will definitely go back to Redweek.

Anyone who selects to watch your video on this subject already knows what timeshares and Airbnb's are. Otherwise, they would look for videos on either subject. Please consider that the title selects the viewing audience when deciding on what to cover. Thank you for the great video and information. I have a large RV space next to my home but wonder if you have ever heard of hosts having a problem with a renter actually trying to live in the RV/Camper that they paid to store. Wondering if it is safer to just rent the space for a vehicle or boat so this would not be an issue? Your advice would be appreciated.

    • @everydayfinance5185
      @everydayfinance5185 Год назад

      Thank you so much for watching and commenting! I have heard of this issue once where rv owners were trying to get around the costs of rv parks. It's absolutely safer to just rent the space for a vehicle or boat where you don't run into issues of occupancy during storage. In the future if you do rent to campers include within your message or notes that occupancy during storage isn't allowed. That way the rv owner knows they can't try to stay within the camper during the assigned storage period. I hope this helps!

    Note, most prosper loans get paid off early (more than 75% in my 10 yr portfolio get paid off early, meaning in just a few weeks or few months rather than 3 or 5 years etc), so as an investor, you never receive the full projected interest on the invested amount. The yield rates are bogus.

    Thanks for posting this video and explaining this type of lending. I am a start-up sneaker brand (a niche brand) and as far as peer to peer lending groups I am considering applying to 1. Upstart 2. Prosper and 3. Street Shares. What do you think about these choices? I just typed in "Top 10 peer to peer lending groups" and they were on the list. And I'm thinking it's going to take some time for more designs, manufacturing etc etc....that I should get some type of deferred payments? Like maybe 6 months or so before I have to start paying back the loan.

    • @everydayfinance5185
      @everydayfinance5185 Год назад

      Hi Cody! Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Congratulations on starting your company. I think that those 3 choices are excellent and I’ll detail each one. Upstart is a great tool to lend to borrowers but they require you to have an existing company to use their network to lend to borrowers. This is where prosper’s niche comes into play. You only need to money necessary to lend to other directly in a true p2p lending process. Street Shares like upstart is a business to consumer lending platform. I think that both upstart and street shares are great lending platforms if you’re looking to get into lending from a business perspective. If you can, deferred payments are the best option, it’ll give you time to start building your customer base and receiving payments while still having the resources from the loan to fund your business. Just be sure that there are no significant penalties that you’d incur doing so.

    Hello, Im a timeshare owner. I watch your other video on how to list my timeshare in Airbnb. One of the requirements is to have a Short term rental permit. But in Anaheim, when you apply for application permit, they required me to have HOA, allowing short term rental. Can you please give me an idea on how to be part of hoa and at least get a documentation allowing short term rental for my timeshare? I see many listing in AirBnb that has the same Timeshare that I have. I dont know how they made list on Airbnb. Thank you for helping me. 😊

      Hi Kobe thank you so much for watching and commenting! I apologize for the delay in responding. I had to take some time to research this to see what the best course of action would be. You have a few options to fix this issue. Based on your timeshare location in Anaheim you can use this website to find an hoa, get information on joining as well as fee information as well. hoa-community.com/location/ca/anaheim-ca/ Using that site you can see what the hoa requirements are fees are to see if it’s worthwhile to pursue. I’ve reached out to a few hoas in Anaheim as well for additional information on this process. I hope this information helps.

    I have had a lot more success with renting my timeshare point reservations with Redweek. Airbnb requires a lot more work for posting and deducts more when someone rents it. Using the calendar to post a timeshare isn't user friendly either. Airbnb is more set up for something you own all year and can take reservations whenever. Posting a timeshare reservation requires you to "block out" a lot of dates and I can't post mulitiple reservations because the pricing may be slightly different due to the season or event attached to the reservation. I was hoping you would talk about setting up calendar dates. Is there an easier way to do it for timeshares?
