Great job! When installing the new filter, you should put a thin film of oil on the o-ring before spinning it on.
I enjoy all your videos, you explain the process in a way that is easily understood. Thank you.
Thanks for the AC video! Kind of threw me with the diesel oil going into that gas engine!
Good job Rachel, I ordered a carb kit from you and was very satisfied. Thanks Bob
I like to put petroleum jelly on the O-ring, personally. It makes a good seal, but doesn't bake on the way old oil does, so the filter comes off easier later. I also like Delo 400 straight 30W for my Type B. I never run in winter conditions, though.
Great video! I plan to order some parts from you soon for my 960. The guy I bought my tractor from gave me a couple dvds……I just realized it’s your dad and I’d assume your grandpa. So cool. Keep it up!
Nice Job! I will note however that I agree with Gil Magee below. The O ring seal on the new filter should be lubricated with a thin film of oil before spinning it on. Insures a better seal, maximizes O ring life, and helps to prevent oil leakage.
I,m Bangladeshi.you works very nice mam,so you work like.It
A superb presentation as always.

Great video, thanks!
Fantastic video very informative Thank you
Really like your videos. So neatly explained
Awesome job
Sweet!
Y'all do a great job with the old tractors. Wish you would do some video's on the 100 series Massey Ferguson's, 135, 165, 175, etc.
I love your vids Rachael (and you too, Dan)! As a city-kid, I've loved old tractors after learning to use a clutch on my friend's grandpa's 9n... 35 years ago! I've wanted one since!
About 18 months ago, my Dad bought and restored a 1940 Farmall A as a project - and your videos were a wonderful resource!
He's since bought some property, and he bought a 1950 8n with a bucket as a "working tractor." 🙂
We are having a heckova time trying to ID the manufacturer of the bucket attachment on the 8n! - nothing I have found on "the Google" (🙃) even comes close to what my Dad's machine has.
Would you and Dan do a video on Ford N-series aftermarket bucket attachments?
If not, could I send you pictures of what we have and see if you or Dan recognize the assembly?
We live in the mountains of Colorado - so old tractors, in general, are no where near as common as in the Midwest.
rachel is correct , using a high quality diesel engine oil is the best choice for old school gasoline engines , the thicker the engine oil , the higher the oil pressure , but in hot weather areas , it is wise to use a thicker viscosity diesel engine oil
Oil and its observation is a good thing to increase the life of the engine. We have the best oils such as Shell, Fox, Petromin and others. I change the oil and filters every 100 working hours for the diesel engine
I love your videos enjoy all videos Ford tractor 3000 turbo fitting video Thank you 🇵🇰
A Godly woman who can fix your tractor. Perfection :)
great tractor stuff... how about a Rachel Gingell down home on the farm cookbook? 🤔 my grand-parents used old time wood stoves with a big pot of soup and bread🥳🥠🍵☕
👍👍

Do you quote prices on your parts
hello! Rachel, i have a B414 international tractor diesel 1964, and it looks to me that some of the parts are missing in side the oil filter jug, are they any way that i could adapt this over and have a turn on filter? like the tractor you are working on here in this video?
Do you and dad still have dvds of overhauls I have some of his videos from twenty years ago
I just bought a WD45, the lift arms aren't working, do you think you can add videos for the Allis tractors like you have for the Ford?
I have a friend who has an Allis Chalmers U
There are few companies here in Sweden that have sold Asmoil for many years. several times customers have found residues of rubbish and sludge and waste oil at the bottom of the plastic canisters the oil is sold in.
The company and the manufacturer deny it, of course. As it looks, it is recycled waste oil that amsoil reuses to make money on purchases so that waste oil is cleaned and new additives added and then bottled as new oil in expensive packaging. That's why I don't buy oil from that company at all. Wrote about this earlier here but that comment was removed by this youtube channel.🤔
How you doing Rachel ✌
All those ads and things flashing across the screen are very distracting.
