Absolutely sublime. Sensations and desires like hunger, sex, wealth, power are of the body, mind and ego and that is the right place. As we identify with them, we are delusioned. Non-identification with them is the key.

@@Saturn-rahu just observe your sensations thats it, by identifying we get desires through which thought appears and does all the mischief, he said just purely be in the moment sensations are healthy and good for health but once the above process starts then its uncontrollable or it gets suppressed, and through wet dreams it might come out. So the key is non identification.
@@Saturn-rahuwhat identification is, is a crucially important question and I would love to hear from others on this. In my understanding « identifying with» means defining something « by proxy ». If we say « I am black » we are identifying with race for exemple - melanin content being a part of one but clearly not the whole - and we may choose this identification for a reason. We may identify with our profession for exemple, for another reason. But K. I think nails it when he says that « I » identifies with « the one who feels » - because what always separates I from You is the belief that I feel what you don’t. For exemple when we both think about let’s say a known artist, we may feel differently. The biological limits of what we call « my body » are the limits of « what feels »: if you touch me, the point where we connect in the sensation may be what we call « relationship »

What’s incredible about this is how the proof of what K says at the beginning is proven, when the monk says “identification is self”. Not that it’s not true. But he simply quoted the buddhist scripts we all know. While K is aware of the danger of this- not really understanding the “truth” of it. That’s why it’s so important to break apart mentally, and really listen and try to understand our suffering *by our own understanding * and not via scripts/ gurus or even K himself. That’s why he hates being called a guru.
A spiritual person when explains its from a very different place. One has to feel the energy body and then to everything we see the meaning and understanding of each every emotion and all that comes from within without mind pulling towards something is whole different experience. What he is saying to understand first one should reach from he is speaking. Else people will try to understand everything from a egoistic judgemental and logical mind and whichever way they will think and try to understand they still won't understand and feel. So it's all requires one to go deeper within and then understand each and everything. You need to become a soul and not that body you live in to understand the senses and what they are. At that point its not out of desire or lust, it's all just that all the time within you and for which you don't even need someone. Because you will become complete in yourself and that state is just so devine. So Sir Krishnamurthy is speaking from that level of consciousness. To understand him one has to come into their own consciousness. And there is a lot one has to do to reach at that point if one has a will to do and secondly depends on one's soul path and if your awakening has to happen now. You will reach and then you will just become like him and feel the aw what he is feeling and talking about but still everything can't be put in words..it has to be felt from within.

U might avoid it conciously in the day time....but this desire will definitely appear in the dream it is irrevocable....we are driven by are our instincts ...accepting and living without guilt is the key...i believe 💕

It's a good point for discussion. Instincts are there in all living beings. Does being human mean being able to transcend instincts is something to ponder about.
Nothing wrong with being lustful, or enjoying carnal pleasures as long as they take place in a genuine and loving relationship. Sexuality has been demonized enough for centuries, and unfortunately many ''enlightened'' individuals continue to do so. Embracing your own sexuality is a beautiful divine gift, and no one should be ashamed of it. Human beings are also sexual beings, not just spiritual. Taking out sexuality from the equation, goes entirely against our own nature, and against divine creation. Sexuality is beautiful. Lust is beautiful. Making love is an art, and can be one of the most powerful tools to reach nirvana. There's nothing to be ashamed of, acceptance is the key. God Bless!
Lust is totally a natural thing, as long as your showing care and love for the other person your making out with. Don’t listen to those people that say you can never have any type of lust and only have sex to make a baby and that’s it. That’s none sense, it hurts your own happiness and spiritual development as it creates a mountain of miserable emotions over the years.
Probably, what JK meant by Putting things at right place, could be like doing things in accordance with a purpose and not just desire driven.. eg. Sex. There could be 3 main scenarios when someone wants to indulge in Sex
1. To reproduce
2. As a expression of LOVE to please one's partner- more of giving than snatching
3. Lust- desire driven- more of satisfying only oneself
Lust as a lower emotion is evoked mainly by unhappiness or emptiness. We all know the behaviours coming out of lust. Think about this, Would a happy person like to exploit the other human just to fulfill his/her own desires..?
On the contrary, Love based intimacy is more inclined towards giving.. Only a happy person can LOVE, an unhappy person would try to extract as it is coming from inner void..
I believe, We gotta logically understand JK or any such people to suit our current evolved thinking and not just blindly following them.
Clear understanding of human emotions and the root causes of them will enable us choose wisely and not get confused and misled by anyone.

If you see the truth of sensation, the desire for sex for sensational pleasure would mean nothing. You would see it as meaningless. Nor would you be identified with any negative emotions as you stated. You seem to completely miss the point.

Connecting with a partner it's rather a sacred beautiful thing to do and in some way it is quite normal to crave those moments especially when is not your regular 5 minutes turn one side and start snoring! Stop wasting seed for pleasure and you ll understand where am coming from

Through the observation and meditation. You are not what you feel, is pretty obvious once you have seen it.
By clear understanding of SELF, sensation, feelings and emotions..
Sensations meaning, physical sense-based experience eg hot, cold, smooth, rough etc..
Feelings - natural experience eg hunger, happiness, sexually aroused in winters
Emotions- experience out of re-processing of old thoughts amd memories eg hate, anger, anxiety, fear, etc.
SELF- Who am I..?
Like we have created many identities and images . Eg. Name, profession, citizen, religion, relationship, behaviour, etc..
And we unknowingly keep perceiving ourselves through that thought of identity which blurs the fact.. the fact is all identities are thoughts created by me.. meaning I am not any Identity.. then who am I?
Enquiring further, if I am not my thoughts, and I process thoughts Through my mind as a tool to generate an emotion, who could possibly be me..?
just by changing my perception, if I can generate infinite emotions out of a single incidence, who could I possibly be..?
Please think about it.. I am purposely ending it with a question..

I don't really understand what he mean by identification. Can anybody give an explanation?
My understanding is, Krishnamurthy is saying, like how we have hunger, thirsty, are basic needs of body, and we just have these at right time and we.do not identify ourselves with this hunger or thirst. Same way he says, like these the right place for sex meaning, right time, right person, you do sex and get over, for that period. No need of identification with it.

For the first time, I can say, as Krishnamurti explains here about: the right place, sexual desire, desire for money, hunger, etc., I can say that I do not agree with him, his explanations are wrong. 1. First of all, our human sensations are our reactions in certain situations and to certain things. Our sensations happen due to the uninterrupted activity of our senses, and the hard part, so to speak, comes when our sensations are taken over and distorted, enriched, beautified, by our personality (our ego, the content of our consciousness, our memory, our past, etc.) with the help of thinking and imagination, at this moment desire manifests itself in our being: sexual desire, desire for money, desire for food, power, domination, submission, etc. and so on and so on. And as he says here "Don't identify with the sensations!" it is totally wrong. Because those sensations, these reactions, of your personality, of the content of your consciousness, of your memory, of your past, are you, and not something foreign or separate from you. Can you see all this, how is happening in you? It is as if you say, at that moment, when the desire manifests itself in you, that you no longer have to identify with yourself. But Krisnamurti also clearly says, in other appearances, that in those moments you should stay with yourself, because your sensations, your reactions, are you, and it is important to stay with them and face them, look at them, observe them, see them and observe their nature, their manifestation, without doing anything against them or for them, just look at them and when you see their true illusory nature, then these manifestations of desire will lose their effects on your being, but that doesn't mean they won't reappear. When you see the "truth". When you will be able to see the "truth of things". Here seeing = it is attention, and truth = it is the subtle understanding of the nature of things that happen inside us or outside of us. This understanding has nothing in common with the word, with imagination, with thinking, with memory... it is a subtle and extraordinarily intimate understanding. Only the chaotic activity of our personality, of our ego, of the content of our consciousness, cause "things" to be in disorder both inside and outside of us. And for the order to happen inside us, are necessary: awareness, attention, observation - free, neutral, independent, of thinking, of imagination, of the entire activity of the content of our consciousness, of our personality, of our ego, of our memory, of of our past, of our experiences. You're wrong, it's not suppression it's atrophy (which is a better way to explain Bramhacharya then dispassion) There is nothing wrong with saying dispassion it's just that the problem is people think it's a form of passion, and believe it or not passion for or against any addiction is a form of indulgence and therefore it is ''passion'' not dispassion. Do you want to know what true dispassion and atrophy looks like? Look at a child, they do not have passion for or against sex because they either don't know about it or they tune such ideas out of their head because such ideas are ridiculous. People have gotten involved in sex and they've lost the ability to do this because their mind never shuts up about it, it's very unfortunate really but it's definitely not natural to be so concerned about sex. It is just that the human brain is more advanced then what he knows what to do with, and he's capable of making broken records in his mind that repeat these experiences over and over triggering the sex pulse as a result. Don't you want to fix the record and be whole again? Or would you rather be a slave to the stupidity of your own thought?
