I think it would really depend on the phone. Modern high-end phone cameras do great with subjects close to the camera. However, in some cases, when you zoom with a phone, that's when you can loose quality. The LX5 has a zoom and if you stabilize the camera, you'll get great results. Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 has a 1/1.63-inch sensor with dimensions of 8.07 x 5.56 mm and sensor area of 44.87mm2. Maybe research the sensor size of your phone camera.
well, I just dug mine out of storage. Haven't seen it in years. Gonna go to a baseball game today and see how it does.
It's a cool little csmera!
How did it go Steven?
Lofi settings ?
Just bought one, very nice photos sir. May I know what mode to use for best results?
For street photos, I leave it auto. No time to mess around with settings!
Thanks for the reply, really appreciate it.
should i buy this camera instead of using my smartphone's camera sensor?
